We had a good set of runs nice turn out this time. Had 12 for vp and 7 for cfo show. VP got split 8 and 4 next time lets try for abit more even of a split.

Now for the next months thug host drum roll please......

I wanted to go!! I just couldn't get my merits done - dang blasted 5500 merits!! Then the CFO run was just a bit too late for me. Sometimes being EST stinks since events can tend to be too late (to try to accommodate PST people too) and I have to get up at 6:30 am. So that puts a damper on me staying on the computer past 10:30/11:00 EST.

Please Littlespike, make the run a wee bit earlier for next month?

So ya wanna be a 2 tracker?

Guidelines:
show up with 29 or less laff
show up with only Throw, Squirt, level 7's are fine.
No Unites, SOS'es and Doddle tricks are OK.
Pieing to TU each other is fine


CFO:
No TU, No Lure, No Unites, No SOS'es.

Doddles and treasures are your TU options.
If you really think your side will go sad, wimp out and toss a TU unite.

This sounds really awesome & like alot of fun. I really hope that I can get to this run!!! Just two questions....for the CFO...we still show up with 29 or less laffs? (I am up for it!!!) and does this mean that we are allowed to bring sound, drop & trap? I just want to clarify because everyone knows that I really hate to break the rules! :h-wink:

Okay - a dumb question (new to Thug-like behavior)...

Does that mean I can bring my 111 LP monkey (Marigold Bananascreech), but I just have to bring her in with 29 or less laff to start with? So, once people start using Doodle TUs, SoS TUs or pie TUs, I can end back up over 29 LP? (I am assuming this is the case, but you know what the word assume does...)

Or do you want me to bring in a lower LP toon that I was working up to be "an uber" (I hate using that word because I feel like I'm a wannabe because I am making some - just like every other Joe Schmoe out there.)

I don't have any high gag "ubers" yet since I have just been getting their tracks set up, so the highest gags my other toons have are level 4 throw/squirt *meep* -- I suppose I could get them to 5 by Thursday, but I doubt I could get them any higher than 5. Oh duh... I also don't have any toons with their Sellsuits yet (other than Marigold) come to think about it, so I'd be in a hurry to get one of them a Sellsuit...

Hi Marigold!! I really look forward to seeing you at the thug run. The 29 laffs or less means that you can bring any toon that is VP capable but that they can only have up to 29 laffs. Means you will want to get online early to get your gags set & take a beating from a couple of cogs, stand on the train tracks for awhile or however you choose to lose your laffs....heehee.
Yes, there is a chance that your laff could go higher once the battle starts. Some people have great doodles that might take you higher....mine is stinky enough that she should keep you at a nice low laff though! :h-wink:

I think this sounds like a ton of fun! Some questions - Can I bring other gags if I promise not to use them? (you say level 7 are ok for throw & squirt at the VP - I don't want to ditch the rest of my level 7 gags if I don't have to - I lose them all the time by going sad, but throw them away - eek!) Is it ok to just do one of the runs? 9 Eastern is my sons bedtime so I may not make both VP & CFO. Sorry If I seem ignorant, this would be my first Thug run. Thanks for any guidance you can offer.

Don't toss your 7's for a Thug Run! Bring em, don't use em, you may just lose em anyway.
If you can make both battles, great! If not, come to what battle you have time for. They take longer usually, but I have a sneaking suspicion if we are playing like 2 trackers, it will go fast.

so sorry - I was so excited about doing my first thug run & as luck would have it I couldn't run. I blew a brake line in my truck. Thank God I was not on the highway & I did not have my son with me. I just got home so I totally missed the run. I hope you all did well & had a lot of fun. "It is the luck of the Irish" I will stay tuned for the next one - I can't wait!

I want to first mention that Granny was seriously distracted this evening during CFO Thug run. I had *COUGH* anger management issues errupt just on this side of the screen, over my shoulder in fact, right when the toons jumped off the elevator, and by the time we got towards the end of the cog round, I had no idea who had what left nor what I should do. and had I been thinking I would have called Pugsley for that last cog standing so that we could have walked away with full laff.

On a plus note.... I happened to get on the crane and quite suddenly it dawned on me how to use the blasted thing and make each goon count. At least until the CFO decided he would kick me off the crane.

Again, I apologize for the muddled minded Granny Ziggy during CFO thug run. It was honestly one of my worst boss runs in providing a decent team effort.

Lots of fun last night! I apologize for disappearing before the VP. I really wanted to burn 3 LOM cards on Syn but as I was running in I remembered she needed merits! I quickly switched to Treading Water who was gagged up but had 24 too much lp. Thanks to Little Igor who stepped out for me to return. I tired to lose the lp by running into a cog on the way but those darn big toons jumped in and wouldn't let me lose lp! So sorry you missed the first run too. The revenge run was a blast. Sometimes going sad is as much fun as dancing.

The CFO was fun. What a time for LVTP's doodle to go on strike. We left one toon in her 40's heading into crane. "Please take the treasures" and soon she was back lookin' good.

I am expecting something really good from you Susan....... Bring it on!
