We had a blast on the training run. This was the first time we had a chance to learn how to aim the evidence to multiple cogs. I was able to hit four by pivoting and controlling the throw. I also had a chance to learn how to jump over the cog thrown evidence...tho I got hit too much....rofl
Thanks to everyone who organized this , and the helpers too. This was very fun. My fingers are sore...lol King Jeepertoon Lady Lollipoop Have fun!

First to Scout Mama for putting this together for everyone. I was on Lady Spunky on Team One...........what awesome people to have help us out. Thank You All so much and want to especially thank Familar who tried to stand beside and give me tips and keep me tuned up at same time you are amazing........was lagging so didnt seem to be doing much good on 3 cogs but I did learn alot from your tips. Also Murky stayed in playground and answered our questions and gave out lots of hints so I am eager to get back in there and put it all together and see how it goes. I just can't thank the awesome players enough for giving of their time and sharing knowledge it helps so much and makes the CCG that much stronger.......Proud to be a member. Alvin you are just too cute and funny........don't ever change and I also have a deep respect for you learning as much as you can .....u rock!!

Our stunners brought in several bonuses from doing such a great job stunning the cogs! I sure hope they are happy with the amount of time spent in practice, and that they have a stronger level of comfort in the evidence round. Please pm me with any further questions, comments or concerns you may have! See you next time! Scout

I had such a great time and learned so much. I had never done the scale before...so all the tips were great tips. I think if I can ever jump when the cj jumps without looking at him, I'll get even better:
Thanks to everyone doing the toonups and the stunners for keeping the amount of evidence I fell over to a minimum I think Ducks can't jump too well I was worried when we landed just 1 toon on the jury, but I should know better with some of the ccg elite in there with us. I have to also say that the cog round was so funny, I had trouble concentrating on the "gag math". We finished our side and ran to Alvin's side to watch, and I laughed so hard I almost needed those industrial strength diapers Alvin talked about in a previous post. DO they sell those at the playground? lol I really had a great time and I thank everyone for taking the time to teach me and the other toons that were there to learn.![]() Thanks for the laughs, and I hope to see ya at the next cj  LFP

Should be required training!
WOW...are these some awesome people to give up their "play time" to teach us! Thanks to each and every one of you!
I already knew how to pan...I want to be able to stun the cogs if that is needed of me...not so coordinated though. I did begin...within the "safe zone" created by the training...to FEEL the rythm everyone is talking about. Now ask me did I hit it? NO! ROFL But I have a much better understanding about the movements and the strategy involved. The diagram and the directions beforehand helped...and I did read everything I could find on the battle...still there is nothing to replace hands on training like this. Thanks to Murky for standing in the playground and answering the 99 questions we had...while they were fresh on our minds. I too can't wait to get back in there and put his new tips to use! Time well spent! Thanks again! Anyone thinking this might be worth a try should definately stand in line for the next one. If everyone that runs CCG CJ's would do a few...they would go smoother for all. Note too trainers...the tons of cash keys going out now means you have a lot of toons moving on to law....get ready!

Would you trust this crew??
Alvin Twinklestink Reports that on:
Jan. 5, 2008 1645 CST 8/8 Danced for Summon Cog Egor BW50 Lady Spunky SD Lady Fireball Pinkerphooey DT +Syn Cerity 102 BF +Princess Daphne Sparklemuffin 121 BS Miss Petunia Flippernoodle DT +Alvin Twinklestink 114 BF +Familiar 106 AC + Together in Cog Round Ok sorry, I was way too nervous to take enough screen shots to get all of the information. We were team 1. Take a look at the screenshot of our team and tell me if you would ever board an elevator for a CJ run with this bunch of runts?? Egor is the only really big suit and the blabbermount in front of him/her is Lady Spunky who is next biggest wearing a spin doctor suit. Of course I know that you are all multipolar and these are just little suit incarnations of your spectacular alter egos (Except for Egor who is a big suit incarnation of your spectacular Murky ego). You all know that Alvin is an unrepentant flirt, but you certainly tumble his poor gyros with all this. He couldn't bring himself to flirt with Egor even though we knew it was really Irky Mae, and he did not again embarass me by flirting with Dawggie in a skirt. But, Lady Spunky was fair game and he had fun with that. Later we identified some of the others but too late for flirting this go-round. The cog round went well until near the end when the ladies felt it was necessary to jolt this poor old heart with some stinkiness. But, bless their souls, they kissed it and made it better. Gee cog rounds are getting so ho-hum any more. Next came the jury selection. I had studied The Dog Father's guide to firing the cannon and actually pmed him for more details. (Good grief, Alvin has talked to a legend.) I seemed to be aimed at the left end to start and we put the aiming method into practice thereon. We knew full well that our early shots would not hold, but to just seat even one juror would be a first for us. And guess what, we seated five! Four were lost to the cogs, but that one lonely juror we had for team 1 I honestly believe Alvin seated. I am so proud of him! Then the main battle started and Alvin immdeiately blundered into the gavels, picked himself up and did it again for pity sake! Finally we got our evidence and ran back to the nearest spot on the cog line that did not seem to be occupied and began working on stunning. Wow! In no time Alvin was throwing line drives and easily covering his two cogs. Familiar noticed he had taken a beating already and tooned him up..I could just see the gleeful look on her face as she hammered Alvin. Funny but the dust cloud raised by this makes it really hard to aim. Maybe if I had taken time to use the tab key to get the high view it would have been better, but Alvin and I were frantic to keep the cogs stunned. So, we reveled in our new skill and hammered the heck out of our cogs. We were so intent on it that we decided we could tell when to jump by listening and timing and not by looking at the CJ, so we could keep up our stunning rhythm..and we were wrong..but Familiar kissed it and made it better...again. Soon we had the two stunning really down pat and had a chance to extend to three stunning. We got that going pretty good also. Now I know that instructions were being directed at us and that those in charge would have liked for us to just do two..we had a tough enough job with only one juror..and when we missed on the three stunning evidence went onto the scale. I have absolutely no idea how any of you read, let alone type, in the middle of a pulse racing battle like this. I just could not bring myself to look away from Alvin's stunning to read messages..sorry instructor team..just couldn't do it. Stun...had to stun...wow...line drives...turn and throw..noticed that if we didn't wait to see the evidence hit but turned immediately to the next cog we could get more shots off. Wow this must be how they four stun!! A couple of times more I tried to time a jump and missed I was so enthralled with my three stunning. and of course, getting more evidence was way more important than jumping..Alvin knew Familiar would be there to kiss it and make it better. And he was working next to the sweet dear Lady Spunky Twinklemuffin in disguise and needed to impress her. Every once in a while Alvin would get knocked onto his hams by something..turns out he later found out the cogs throw stuff at him and that knocks him down..and ruins his rhythm..and even seems to relocate/disorient him?? Alvin and I probably made every blunder you can. For crying out loud we once ran smack into a line cog when we tried to go get more evidence. Ouch. My fingers were actually getting tired by the end! I remember one sweet voice saying.."we are almost done" and thinking ..oh thank heaven. And then it was over, we won. I got the third cog I could summon..big whoop. Afterwards in the playground Alvin had a ball flirting while I tried to get real skill pointers. I think we both did well in our chosen diversions. Thank all of you experiened folks for a wonderful training session. Can't wait to try out the new skills, however poorly mastered they are. The battle lasted 62 minutes.
