A run worth reporting!
At 1400CST, Alvin Twinklestink took his grandson, Fat Corny Electronerd on a VP run. In actuality, Alvin was being driven by my son who normally is Capatin Flip McMonkey, and I was coaching Fat Corny. We loaded eight. At least half were little suits with relatively weak gags. Somehow the big-suits managed to coach us all through and everyone danced. Shortly afterward my computer suffered a major crash and all my screenshots and audio records for that battle were lost. Without those I can do nothing more than thank all of you who were with us in this long difficult battle! All of you did a magnificant job! And Fat Corny was thrilled with his second SOS card, Lil Oldman!
Ok, after spending an afternoon with my son and grandson, we managed to connect a few more feebly functioning neurons. That and the fact that Captain Flip had a couple of screenshots. See his report below. Fat Corny Electronerd is LL55 Last time a VP battle was reported with Little Rosie Gigglezilla participating, she was a HW25, that was Jan. 2nd, 2008. Last time StylesClash updated Deptuy Wacky McToon's profile he was a Cold Caller..no info on suit level in CCG membership pages (sounds like something we need). However I did receive a pm from StylesClash stating that Deputy is now a CC2, so this was his first win! Last time a VP battle was reported with Princess Purplebounce participating, she was a HW10, that was Feb. 27th, 2008. We have now searched battle reports back to Jan, CCG membership and TTC membership lists and have no more info. During the cog battle, I was watching Fat Corny Electronerd's team and it was being effectively captained by Princess Purplebounce. Without her the battle would have been much more difficult. I think all her team mates were cold callers. During the skelecogs, Silly Zippy joined us with bigger gags. Thank heaven as Fat Corny was all out of his biggest gags and I think Fancy was also. During the pie fling, I had my hands full as I was taking care of the jumps for Fat Corny. I told him to yell "JUMP" whenever he heard the VP launch himself..but I didn't wait for that, I just wanted to see how he would have done. Well, based on his yells, he would have missed every jump! I also remember watching the little yellow duck, Fancy Picklecrunch, and she seemed to be missing most of the jumps. I held my breath waiting for the wawa song each time but somehow, she managed to survive. The battle was long as we were a bit short on stunners, and I was truly amazed that we all danced. One phantom jump had Vege Mite trying to see thru the whipped cream as he was slapped with pies from every direction. Nice thing about playing with ubers...it doesn't take much to toon them up! Fantastic teamwork! Helpful Hint for future reference: When using an SOS card, it's helpful to the team to know what it is. "I'm going to use lure" would've kept my old ticker from palpatating.

The whole team did an amazing job, and lots of lureless toons there were. The cog round went by quick not many cogs came out of the nasty VP's undercarrage. My entire skelecog team didn't have a single lure (I sure need to collect more LOMS). Sure I had to use some SOS toons and unites but it all came through in the end. We got a first win! The pie round was a breeze as well. Lily has great long range stunning in the back, and with my short stunning in the back we didn't miss one single stun! What a great VP it was.  -Blobber |

I was planning on throwing small unite to compliment someone else's but as soon as most of the crew gathered, he hit us with about 4 "FORE's" in a row. At least one toon went sad and Nicky was under 30. RL alarms were going off (phone, kids, door) and I just couldn't stay any longer. Later I asked Banana Brain via speed chat if he won and he said "no". If you pulled it off, let me know and I will change the record. We fed quite a few BC's but our group still had to fight another 7. Seltzer battle saw the usual -- toons unable to keep their laff up; I'm assuming phantom hits or inexperience at dodging the balls. Nicky took several phantom hits...it's like he leaves some damage points out there and you just run into them! Of all the damage I took, only 2 were the result of just not moving in time. I saw plenty of others taking the same kind of hits. Once, I clicked to get off the table and nothing happened....it's like I was stuck! 'Course then he ran over me and sat on me for what seemed like forever. Eventually there were just 3 of us left. We did pretty good moving around doing damage to him and Nicky was able to snack up to about 50 laff. He destroyed one belt and when he exploded the second one and (I'm assuming everyone) we took a -30, it put Nicky at 21. He was blinking red and the others were getting in hits and I hate to say it but I basically just played keep away for a few moments while they finished the battle. I was afraid to move too far for fear I'd hit one of those phantom damage holes! Good job to my teammates especially those who finished! To the others, although I didn't hear any sad sounds, I'm assuming that some of you went sad, others decided to "x" out b4 you lost all your laff and gags. I'm just noting that it was a Flunky, Pencil Pusher and MicroManager who managed to finally pull out the win. Can't always judge a toon by their suit.

Just a reminder, we are not here for the win, its nice when it happens, WE are here to experience the boss run without the frills of shuffling. SO, please pack the elevators and don't shuffle. Have some faith in your teammates and above all....have some FUN!

I have to say that I still don't really enjoy CJ's though. My impression of this battle was that teamwork was OK, but probably could have been tighter. I will admit to not knowing quite how to help organise things! I know that I am better at scaling than stunning so I will always go to the pan as a first preference. We seemed to split evenly but, I don't know, it takes an age to get the pan down. While I do appreciate that everyone has a different comfort level for their laff I did find it ironic that I, on 70 something laff was tooning up someone who asked for a toon-up but actually was on 90 something laff <snip>. Thanks to everyone here for plugging away for a victory. I got summon a pencil pusher. NB we seated 7 and had 36 PoE and a scarcity of gavels I found luxurious!

The person NEVER threw any evidence.. but then ran around jumping in front of me saying I need a toon up... OK.. I saw 5 unites used on this run... IMHO that was 5 too many. The person DIDNT OFFER ANYTHING to the battle. IMHO if you arent going to offer anything to the battle and just get in the way, you might as well go sad.
