Really nice that a load of nearly all non-100s did so very well. Great team work on both sides I was on. It wasn't that a lot of HWs didn't want to be on the elevator - we got there first! Thanks to whoever hopped on when one CC got a bit jumpy and hopped off the elevator.

Thank you for the birthday wishes. This was a fun run for me. My wife(Ritzi) and son(cuckoo) went along as a birthday gift. Listening to them trying to pick gags was a hoot as they are WOW players now. Having good friends there made it extra special. Thanks Jerri and Bianka. You gals are great!!

One of these days Alvin and I are going to have a run so straight forward and dull that when I sit down to write about it, there will be nothing to write. Yeah, right. After dinner this evening, after everything was cleared up and the dishes done, I retired to my computer room and logged in to be with Alvin and his friends. I checked the schedule and found we had nine minutes until the CJ run. Checked on gags, we had them, checked on health, he was fine. Even checked jury notices, all set. I turned on the recorder and ran Alvin to the assembly area. Even that was easy with that neat shortcut my grandson had shown me. So we arrived with several minutes to spare. It was not a big crowd. Momma Flipperfoot was there as was Goliath, and Abaddon. Another piggy, Bacon Bitz, was there. Alvin wanted to flirt but I told him I thought it was another boy piggy. A TF whispered an invite to a wildcat VP run; Alvin declined explaining his intention to CJ. There was a momentary distraction concerning some RL copying needs, and when Alvin finally entered the plaza, everyone was at the loading area. It seemed to take him forever to cross the plaza. Funny how it gets so much bigger when you are in a hurry, and cogs don’t hurry well. There appeared to be enough for another load. I was surprised to see Momma’s suit size. I would have thought she was maxxed. At first no one moved, then finally Momma, Alvin, Bacon Bitz and a bunny called Beautiful Gorgeous (who was) stepped on. Four little suits across the back. I held my breath with my finger twitching over the jump off button as the clock counted down. I knew there were several big suits still in the area. Finally, much to Alvin's relief, Big Wigs Goliath and Baron Reggie Fuzzyberry stepped on. Alvin sent out a pleading “one more” and I think I saw a “lets go”. But no one else joined us. When the rear view came up on my screen I gulped, there were only three little suits across the back! Someone had already bailed. I missed the screenshot because I was so busy searching for the “lets go back to the playground” beg button. So there I was with three important screenshots already missing. But there was no way to bail out at that point without just AltF4ing and no one was reacting to my suggestion. I crossed Alvin’s fingers hoping he got to be three sided and he did. We were with Goliath and Momma Flip. We lured our 12 onto TNT but the follow-up didn’t take him out. So right away we needed toonup. We fogged the next couple of sets and it sounded like the other side was doing the same. I kept waiting for the sad song since there were only two over there. Then we went to lure and Momma was showing trap door and I a piano, each waiting for the other to pick. So of course we both picked at the same time and differently. Well at least the sound of the piano didn’t wake up the lured cog. Later Goliath ran out of big sound and played a cogs miss so we had two rounds to wipe them out. A wedding cake was thrown and I guessed at which big cog to target since I had lost track of which the big ones were. But it worked. I had heard nothing from the other side for a bit and worried that they had given up and bailed out. But they finished first and came over to cheer us on. I was way too busy and to nervous to have taken many screen shots. Some how we pulled it together and finished all healthy. I guess no one else knew how worried I was. I think I again suggested we high tail it back to the barn, but was ignored. Of course Momma ran over to take Alvin’s cannon but I think she was surprised to find him running to take hers. So we switched. Thanks DirtnWater for telling me I can fire the cannon with the ctrl button. That made it a lot easier. Alvin seated 2. The team seated 9 which was good I think considering there were only five of us. When the trial opened, the CJ started with a jump. By the time Alvin got his evidence (32) and ran to stake a claim on the stun line, he was too late; there were already three toons there. So we did a left turn and ran to help Momma Flip at the scales since I knew we were unlikely to win with just one scaling. I had no idea if Alvin knew how to scale, but we had to try. Turned out Beautiful had made the same decision and was there also. Well the two left stunning would just have to do the best they could. And almost immediately we got two stun bonuses. I was impressed! Well panning seemed to be easy, that is if we were doing it right. No one yelled at us so we continued. We soon found where to stand to reduce the random misses and piled it on. It seemed we were making no progress, but every time I came back from an evidence run I could see that we were gaining. Momma seemed to be a real magnet for thrown evidence or maybe she was somehow protecting Alvin. The stun line was doing great; we ended up getting five bonuses! Not bad for two toons four-stunning! The CJ jumped eight times and Alvin made 9 evidence runs. And then we danced. I was so shocked I missed more screen shots! The entire battle lasted 29 ½ minutes. We devoted just over 9 minutes to the cogs, and 13 minutes to the trial. Is that good? Now…I know some, if not all, of you who read this kept thinking, “Hey Alvin, there were six of you!” Well I did not know that until I went back and reviewed my screenshots to see who had bailed out on us. Turns out no one did. But I still have a vivid mental image of that back row in the elevator only showing three toons! Unfortunately I missed the screen shot. So, there were six, Beautiful, Alvin, and Momma scaled, and our wonderful stunners were Baron, Goliath, and Bacon. Great Job! Too bad some of the others in the boarding area didn’t care to join us in this victory.

I was typing the report in on another screen. (just kidding) Actually, it was the evidence that gets you from the side out of nowhere that was getting me, but I never lost more than 10 laff tops.

You are correct. You saw 3 toons on the back row. It was Craig (Bacon Bitz) that pulled the disappearing act on us. I knew better than to alt because he wouldn't bail on us for one and two... TT has a tendency to pull that dirty trick on us by making us think someone bailed when in reality, they're there.

One toon that didn't board was close enough to board and on the platform. The other was still closer to the main door and never would have made it to the vator on time. Should we have jumped to give them an opportunity? That is debatable. We boarded, stayed on and stuck with the guidelines. In my heart, I would have liked to jump to at least give them the chance, but I wasn't going to be the first one to click on the hop off button. Oh well.

First - thanks Dawn - you are right, I wouldn't bail for any reason - if we only had four, that would have worked OK as well....taken a bit longer, but we would have won.

from my vantage point, I always saw six of us in the elevator, and at least one who was close enough outside to have gotten on. Once I saw that there were 6 of us, and knowing the experience level on the elevator, I was 99.9% sure that a win was coming.

second - Alvin - we didn't ignore your "lets go back to the playground..." well, actually we did - but we had more confidence in you than that!

third - I hope I didn't "step on anyone's toes" on the stun line, but when we are a bit shorthanded, I am apt to step up and assume that I will stun four, while one other toon stuns 2-3 and the third 1-2. That way when I run out, I can usually get back before the toon that was stunning 1-2 (and has now expanded to 3-4) runs out. If you look at the math, we can keep a pretty steady bonus going on with that rotation, and generally protect the panners. If we go 3-2-3, we nearly all run out at the same time, and then leave the panners exposed to all 8 cogs for a longer time.

Regardless -sorry if I got on anyone's nerves by stunning 4 (and the occasional 5th if time permitted).

fourth - Alvin if you were having trouble panning - please come to the CJ training this weekend if you can. Panning is very easy once you know where to stand and what to watch for. After a while, you can easily jump 90% of the thrown evidence, and it becomes (gasp) boring....

(which is why we now do the stunless CJs on occasion)

later- thanks for reporting on this one - it was fun - Alvin your notes are totally refreshing - it makes me realize that at times what I'm doing pretty much from habit actually took a long time to get that way! I really enjoy reading your reports.
