Cogs waking up from lure and a few missed lures sent Snickerdoodle back to playground in his green suit. Lots of vp jumps, but toons rule and he was sent packing right over the edge in about 5 minutes! Great teamwork!

Sorry for missing some suits and LL.

Pardon me that I have missing information. I must have had my finger on the F8 button or something as I missed the elevator shots, or perhaps I fumble fingered them into cyber oblivion. In addition, I lost track of my audio recorder status and apparently turned it off 2.5 seconds after turning it on. But I do have one excuse. The dang funeral dirge music glitch hit me and it was very distracting. Yeah, I know I can turn sound off but I use it to keep track of events. Dunno if you ever noticed, but everything in ToonTown seems to have its own specific noise. It is amazing how much I have come to rely on those for my report. Now I am stuck with just the screenshots of the actual battles. My friend Queen Biscuit and I had just finished a VP run and decided to do this run. In the collection area I noticed omeomi, LVTP, White knights, and probably some others I have forgotten. Of course Queen Biscuit and I did not get on the same elevator. That seems to be a rarity for some reason. But I was on with Vicky Wildgoose who is an excellent stomper. With over half the load being big suits I was not worried. For the cog round I was sided with Chess, Three Lions, and Miss Cat Bait. I do not remember anything unusual in the cog battle. It seemed to go well on both sides. I began to worry on our way to the CFO arena. There were an awful lot of indications that folks wanted to goon stomp. Alvin has only craned in actual combat once before. He was dropped into a quadrant with one of the mice ladies I believe, and we both turned and looked at the crane control without much enthusiasm. Well, time to step up, Alvin took the podium. He put on an impressive display of lashing around with a magnet and throwing safes here and there. Every once in a while he got a goon on his crane and did actually manage a few hits. And he scored at least one, maybe two safe hits. He did NOT put a safe on the CFO’s head! First thing you know there were reds coming out and Alvin grabbed one and made another hit. And then it was over. Well good grief. Alvin was knocked on his hams only once that I remember, and never did have to go treasure hunting. I have no idea if anyone had to use any unites or not. It is all just a blur of feverish thrashing around. But we won, and everyone danced! Miss Cat Bait even got a promotion. My screen shots show Duke was craning, but I have no idea who else. The battle lasted only 18 minutes. Good job everyone!

Thanks Sir Oswald! Good grief I didn't even get Alvin's stats correct! I tried to back out suit levels from the bux info on dance billboards and searched the forum for info that might give me laff levels. And then did what I did wrong. Sorry! I plugged the info into the CCG victory report form and, with credit, edited my original post!

Alvin, I noticed your comment regarding the music glitch that happens on TT - you can actually still have sound effects on without the music. I generally leave sound on but haven't played TT with the music since, well about a week after I started playing in 03.

In your shticker book on the first tab, where you set options, you can turn off the music. Hope that helps you out if you get that glitch again or if you just prefer not to have it on.

I ran into my friend Queen Biscuit in ToonTown as we both worked on the boss run ‘mother-may-Is’. I really had not thought about a run until evening, but then I was thinking of a RL run to happy hour at the local watering hole and if I did, I would probably not be in the mood for any evening runs. So, we got ourselves together and went to the pit for the noon run. The usual nice crowd was there and Alvin insisted on running around and flirting. Queen and I went in five minutes early to get away from the lag and little toons crowding between us and milling around (why do they do that?). We stood in the plaza and watched the crowd come in. If you have never done that you should..just back up against the entry platform and watch. It is actually rather majestic in its own way. When Queen got bored with that we strode up the steps and positioned ourselves for boarding. The CCG was well represented with big suits waiting to fill any spots to make sure the elevators went out full. Queen and I positioned ourselves right in front of the doors so as to not get separated and as soon as they opened we strode on and were shoved right our the back side of the stupid thing into the gray. We turned and walked back on but got spit out the front. Why does it do that?? Luckily for us we both experienced the same thing. So we turned around and tried again. I thought we were aboard but couldn’t tell since a big suit monkey was blocking my entire view of the elevator. (Was that YOU? Check the screen shot below and if you are the one, please try not to do that.) This time boarding worked and I did manage to get enough screen shots to fill in all the information (just hope I got it right.) We had three little suits aboard and for one of them, Skids, it was the very first battle at least on this toon. I was glad to see the always reliable Crazy C.W. there also. We were sided with Queen, Skids, and soggybottom for the cogs. We shared the lure chores and moved through the cogs without a single miss! Alvin used a glass of water in the mid-battle and the final cog was a pathetic little Cold Caller 1. I think we all picked stinky gags and Alvin got to use his bike horn. For the skelecogs we got an entirely new crew picking up Super Boo Boo, Miss Daffodil, and Princess Violet Funnymonkey (which she isn’t, she is a bear). We had a bit of confusion in the beginning with gag choices. We had an early lure miss and then we had a last second lure retraction and had to weather the vengeance of a 12. After that things flowed smoothly and we had no misses of any significance. Actually, it was a pretty rewarding cog battle. The VP battle was a joy. We had excellent stunners and the rust bucket hardly paused in his trip backwards to the edge. I saw Queen Biscuit make a couple of nice front stuns, and wished that Alvin could do that. We are getting better, but still can’t throw the line drive under combat conditions. My recording indicates 6 jumps. The entire battle lasted 23 minutes, with 6 for the cogs, 7 for the skelecogs, and just 4 for the pie fling. Nice crew, nice job, well done, and congrats Skids on your first win!

Another exciting CFO..... Cog round went great, with excellent teamwork and the usual missed gags. Crane round went well till the CFO hit red. Then safes started falling from the ceiling faster than we could dislodge them, red goons were swarming, everyone was stomping and throwing things like crazy. Big Boo Boo (my husband) was watching Simba and he said her laff dropped so fast he couldn't get to her in time-- I feel just awful we lost her. Britannia, I have to say you are an awesome stomper! Wow!! Congratulations to Cranky Sourburger on your suit promo (see, I didn't let you die ). Thanks everyone for great teamwork and an exciting run!!

You weren't the only one with laff issues, I had been looking at the others laffs, and many were using evidence TUs throughout, I kept wondering that maybe we would get a bonus if some of us could just focus a bit, then the TUs would have just flowed naturally. I was on the pan initially but decided to join the stunline in an attempt to make that happen.

In regard to loading at the last second...The CJ elevator is "sticky", and some toons do not know that you cannot enter it from the side, you need to hit it right in the middle. I have seen it cause more loads to go off short than I care to recall. So, knowing that I can load with confidence at "the last second" and know I can get on successfully, I wait for those needing the promo to hop on first, but there is only so much time for "You First".

lol, don't feel bad! That was so much fun! I have a difficult time stomping (doesn't matter if I use the laptop or the other computer). What's happening is I end up jumping over the goon and into their light. Sometimes it seems that if I go backwards and jump on a goon, it works better. Once those red goons came out, I tried so hard to keep them from going near the bunny but I just couldn't do it. Sorry to leave you one stomper short. Murky, can u sign me up for the next cfo training run now? lol
