Gotta love lag. We had one red cat hogging the snacks and jumping over toons to maintain her high lp. (BTW - she doesn't care either.) This was a long tedious battle from the first cog on. Please understand that being soundless is ok - but that does not mean the remaining 3 cannot sound. A soundless toon is every bit as productive to the team IF they can work WITH the team. Hopefully someone will get some experience with that. First tip: when the other three sound it is NOT a good play to work your drop on the remaining 12, especially IF it hits it won't kill either. Boss battles are not a place to work gags. By the time you are big enough to CEO - you should be big enough to be a team player.

Ricky Reports that on:
Jun. 24, 2008 1915 CST 2/4 Danced for Pink Slip +Chloe 115 PP3 -- Disconnected during seltzer ![]() +Ricky 128 HH9 Sir Lionel Wildtoes 108 HH6 Mister Wacky McSpinner 111 Fl2 -- Sad seltzer round + Together in Cog Round Welcome to summer? I entered with a group of friends that I was hoping to board with, but this load had 7 toons and no one seemed to be moving towards the door. I filled up the hole, then another toon hopped off just as the doors closed. Then 3 more alt'd - what's up with that? We had SEVEN on the elevator, that's more than enough to dance with. One of the rare times I missed a SS of the elevator, so I don't have names. So there we stood, just the 4 of us . . . Chloe and I seemed to work pretty well together and dispatched our cogs in an orderly fashion at a decent pace. We had time for a Pete when we all joined up for the last cog so I could save the Gag-up All for more dire circumstances. Feeding round and everyone rocked, I think we only left 2-3 tables unfed, awesome job! Cog round 2 had same pairings. I fired 2 of the cogs in the interest of time, but we really didn't need to. Everything was going great . . . then on to seltzer. I had my screen looking out for Chloe and I saw her get run over by the CEO without losing a laff. Yep, flat as a pancake and didn't lose laff. That's when I realized she had disco'd . One piece of constructive criticism to our flunky - Take the snacks before they fall!!!!!! You were at 76 laff, snack were falling all over the floor and the other toons were at full health - go eat! I know I was a pest whispering it over and over to you, but if you'd taken the time to eat when you HAD the time to eat, you would have had that cushion of 35 more laff later on in the game when you did NOT have time to eat. FYI - those middle tables are the most dangerous. I am sorry we lost you, he was red when I saw you get run over and I was on my over to use a unite (did you not have any?) but was too late . Sir Lionel and I finished him off just a few minutes later. Altogether, this battle lasted about 75 minutes during which time he reorganized both snack belts. No unites were used at all .

Thanks for reporting this battle Ricky. I just wanted to add that you rock. Please be my friend . Even with 4 toons, the cogs were not that hard. No unites were thrown but we dig deep to level 7 gags and SOS cars (thank you VP).While I would not have entered a 4 toon CEO, a 6 or 7 toon CEO is not really that hard. I was not going to leave the group. I think I have screen shots of the 2 toons that did bail. Should I forward them to the CCG moderators? I did notice at the end with just Ricky and I, the CEO seemed confused when we were at 90 degree angles to each other. I did not have unite toon-ups or I would have tried to save McSpinner. Just keep at. It will get easier. I agree that the middle tables are harder but with just 2 I moved to a middle table when the CEO squashed the one I was on. I am really glad I stayed. After all this is a GAME. The ONLY purpose is to have FUN!!! PS. I fixed my laff points

I was so disappointed to have my internet connection broken! I don't know what happened here in the house, but everyone on the net ended up getting disconnected time after time for the next hour. Everyone rocked and it was one of the best runs I've had in a long time! Sad to hear someone went sad, but I'm glad 2 of you made it! Ricky you are an awesome player! Hope to run with you guys again! Glad you posted, I was searching for you last night but couldn't find you! Chloe |

I'm so new at this :P We did have a full 8 load standing near the Clubhouse, but sadly one person was just a friend of a runner and didn't have enough Bossbot Suit Parts Darn that... rabbit in Donald's Dock! Too many Front 3s to go in. Anyway, the cog round was fantastic! And the 3 team finished before the 4 team on both cog fighting rounds. How embarrassing, lol! Well, of course I was on both the 4 man teams, so you know how I take a long time and flub up my gag choices... I think we left 13 Big Cheeses unfed, which was good for just 7 people! It was a fun run again you guys! -------------- Pinky reports that on: Jun. 24, 2008 at 1145 CST 8/8 danced for ??? jellybeans (sorry! When I was standing by the CFO doors, Sir Lionel Wildtoes whispered to me "Can you help me? I need more Laff Points." I was kind of confused, but I assumed as much that he was going to get a laff point from CFO when he danced, so I said yes and shrugged just in case I was wrong. xD But sure enough, he was a RB19 so I hopped on with him. I was touched by your invitation! Thanks B) (But why me?! lol, I'm not that good of a CFOer.) The craning round got a little hectic when I saw the other side full of red goons (so I put a safe in front of my side so they would get killed when they came out of the CFO's undercarriage), but we made it through just fine! And Spirit Bear said she wasn't good at craning, but you were awesome! It was me who did terribly. I only got one safe hit, 2 goons on him, and a helmet off of him. Lots of congrats to all of the toons who got promos, laff points, and first wins on this run!!

A revenge run for Lily
Alvin Twinklestink Reports that on:
Jun. 24, 2008 2145 CST 8/8 Danced for TOW Beans - 200 (Mata stinks!) Princess Bonnie 122 RB50 +Captain Wally Thundersplat 112 PP2 +Captain Flip McMonkey 103 SC44 +Alvin Twinklestink 120 RB29 Captain Bingo Peppersocks 120 RB50 Super Zippety Petalzapper 127 RB50 (Revenge run) +loopy buzz fluffy bingo 130 RB50 Princess Lily Twinkletoes 120 RB50 (Revenge run) + Together in Cog Round My youngest son Captain Flip McMonkey (remember, young is a relative term) called me to see if I wanted to go on a run with him. Well, I was vegged out watching TV so by the time I got that shut down and my computer fired up and logged on, the 2145 CFO run was gone and I found my son waiting around to see if anyone else showed up. Turns out my older son, Captain Wally Thundersplat, had been there but went without us on an earlier elevator load. We hung around for a bit and finally I decided to show Flip the revenge run thing. We went back to the playground and waited. Soon, sadualities began to show up. The first one that seemed to really be interested in a revenge run was little green cat Princess Lily Twinkletoes. As soon as she could move I took her out onto the street and healed her. Her friend, Princess Bonnie, who had been hovering over her offering comfort helped as did Flip. Soon Wally showed up from a victorious run. After the cat was healed, the kids went off to get bux for Wally…he needed all of 60 for pity sake. I checked my friends to see who might be available but struck out…but then, hey, I had three available already from my family. The Princess’s were apparently working the problem also and soon they teleported away. My sons and I had to run, hoping they would wait. When we finally got to the milling around area, they were waiting, thank you! We had a team and off we went! We were six RBs with my two sons providing the token little suits. Wally was invisible but for your information he was also a monkey like his brother. They take after their mother’s side of the family. For the cogs, Alvin was sided with my sons and mouse loopy buzz. It was tough holding the chat down, and of course the brothers had ‘instructions’ for each other. Both sides did well with us bogging down at the end with only a couple of cogs left. The others ran over to cheer us on! On the way to the arena there were a lot of calls for crane dibs. That made the sons happy since neither think they can crane. It made me unhappy since Alvin is stomp challenged and has been doing well on crane. As soon as we were deposited I made a dash for the local crane but was beaten to it by Bonnie I think. A quick lap around the rusty cash box revealed the sad truth…Alvin would need to stomp. And, he did fairly well. Perhaps the added 1 Meg of RAM helped! Can’t wait to see if it helped with craning. And by heck the crane round went well! I didn’t have my audio recorder on so I am unable to give you a lot of statistics, but I checked the health of us all back in the playground and we were only down a bit each. Heck, Alvin and Wally were at full laff…of course we kept stumbling over the treasures trying to get around the safes to reach the goons. The reds were only out long enough for two or three stomps when the rusty old cash register gave up. During the dance you can all rest assured that Alvin made good use of his famous speed chat phrases! We loaded at 22:30 and got our reward (yes it was 200 beans) at 22:53. Lily and I lingered to stink Mata. So it was our pleasure to participate in your revenge run Lily, and yours also Zippety (didn’t know that at the time). You people really fought brilliantly in our run, I would love to know what went wrong in the earlier run when you went sad. |

When I got to the first room and there were only 4 of us, I have to admit my first thought was that there was no way we were going to make it. Wacky McSpinner has a good way to go on his gags yet and is only maxed on throw and squirt. But I decided to stick it out as long as I could, and see what I could learn. Amazingly, we got through all the cog rounds without one of us going sad. I figured that I have a long way to go to perfect my seltzer squirting, so I figured the best I could do is keep plugging away with the golf balls, and keep out of the way of the "fore!"s. I appreciated your reminding me to snack up, I must admit that I should have done exactly that. It's just that this is the first time that I have fought the CEO battle where no-one was fighting over the snacks, and I was trying not to hog them. The times I have won, I managed to stay at around 60 laff, and thought I could do so again. However, this battle, having only 4 toons, lasted much longer than any other I have ever been in. I haven't developed enough skill to check the laff level of the other toons quickly while golfing (let alone squirting), and didn't realize everyone else was at full laff. In the end, I made 2 major mistakes. Once the second snack belt went, I thought it was all or nothing, so I changed my strategy, and tried to join in the squirting with the hope of polishing the CEO off. If I had maintained the methods of golfing and dodging "fore!"s, and left the squirting to the experts, I probably would have survived. The other major mistake was a slip of the fingers. I had one finger on the control key to charge the squirt bottle and another on the escape key to prepare to jump off the table as necessary. Unfortunately, I pressed both at the same time, which as I'm sure you know, is about the same as an alt-tab, which switched me out of the game. By the time I got back to the Toontown screen, the CEO was standing on my head and I was at less than 10 laff. I lasted about 2 seconds after that. All in all, it was a worthwhile educational experience and I thank you for the opportunity to have played with and learned from you. MisterB (Wacky McSpinner) Edited to add: After reading your public profile, perhaps I should change the first phrase to "you, ma'am, are a gentlewoman and a scholar"? A midnight CEO
Alvin Twinklestink Reports that on: Jun. 24, 2008 2315 CST 7/8 Danced for Pink Slip *Mr. Blue Donkey 117 Fl 3 Princess Maxie Gigglebounce 121 CR 8 +*Alvin Twinklestink 121 MM 6 +Buford 113 Fl 1 +*Lady Boo Boo 107 Fl 3 +crashjordan 126 HH 9 *Snifflewig 108 Fl 2 Silly Wally Pickletwist 128 PP 3 + Together in kitchen Cog Round * Together in dining room Cog Round By the time Alvin and I were done with the CFO revenge run for Princess Lily Twinkletoes and Super Zippety Petalzapper it was nigh onto the witching hour here on the East Coast. We had well missed the CCG CJ run which was just as well since I am sure we would have forgotten to restart ToonTown and would have encountered the ‘evidence hit’ glitch during the CEO battle of this report. We arrived in the outside courtyard early enough to exchange pleasantries with the toons gathered there, one of which was Princess Lily herself. Alvin and I are well out of practice for gathering reporting information so I am unable to comment on others there except for Faux Paw who I noticed was now a BC 20. Well done, Alvin and I are green with envy. Alvin and I are also well off our top form of plying the ladies with complimentary speed chat phrases for which we apologize. We have been nearly overwhelmed with RL lately and that has impacted our efforts. Even when we do try hard to live up to expectations we are accused of doing it clumsily by the jealous tall green clumsy duck who I notice now has his avatar dressed in a kilt. And so we loaded with two big suits and four little with Alvin being one of the true runts of ToonTown, a Micromanager. Lady Boo Boo, I am terribly sorry if I took the spot you had hoped your friend would get. Let me know who it is and next time I will do what I can to help the two of you load together! Gee I feel bad. For the cogs Alvin was sided with Buford, crashjordan, and Lady Boo Boo. We fought well and had it made with sound until late in the battle when a sound miss left us facing the wrath of four angry cogs. That put us behind schedule and the other side finished first. So we healed and finished them off without further incident. For the feeding round we appeared to have 7 tables of 4 Corporate Raiders each. I say ‘appeared’ because I still have not found the secret of seeing all the tables at any point. And, being a runt certainly does not give one a useful perspective. We did well and could have done better if Alvin had not seemingly tried to climb on the lap of each Raider we fed. I don’t know what was with the pig. We only had one cog left for the next round where we were sided with Snifflewig, Mr. Blue Donkey, and Lady Boo Boo again. We managed to fumble our way through the Big Cheese and drag our feet to the point that the other side got the left over Corporate Raider who they lured onto TNT. I love th |
