This elevator smelled really bad! It was one of the most fun CCG runs I have ever been on. Cog round had me laughing myself silly with the speedchat and I don't think the CFO actually parked before he was gone again. Fantastic run, thanks all!

Very sweet toons in this run. I enjoyed playing with everyone. We seated 8 but it was a rough scale round for me. We had 4 toons hitting the scale, 3 toons stunning and 1 toon kinda running up n down the stun line throwing our rotations off. I think we managed to get maybe two bonuses because of this distraction. I suggest if you decide to be a fourth stunner, squeeze in n plant yourself, running around madly stunning this cog or that only undoes the work everyone is trying to do. We all danced, good job everyone, it was fun!
A special thanks to Dee Dee Sparklepretzel who sweetly tried to toon me up during the painful scale round. I am an airhead and someone throwing pies on me distracts my brain too easily, lol, but ty very very much, it is so nice to know other toons are there looking out for us!

Great run! Cogs were fun, good teamwork. Crane round found us with 3 toons practicing for a bit then one left her crane as goons started to come faster. After that the CFO just would not stun no matter how many times he was hit. Finally he was gooned out the door though and we all danced. Special thanks to Christine for keeping the goons under control for us by safing them repeatedly. That was fun all!

This run was a lot of fun! Great teamwork in the cogs and 8 seated on the jury.
In the scale round it took us a few moments to get our rhythm going but once we did the bonuses just kept coming. Everyone did an awesome job in there, thanks so much!

(I missed the laff levels… again)

I thought we packed 8, but it seems we were only 7 when the doors closed…
The cog round was smooth and uneventful.

As for the crane round well, I myself have no idea what was up with this one… seemed to go fine at first but at some point the goons started to swarm… whoah!

I’m kind of new to this but it seemed like all the ones I stomped would wake up over and over again - until there were almost too many to manage!
A TU unite was thrown and probably saved a few from going green (though I was nowhere near, that was awesome!). Unfortunately someone went sad just seconds later and just seconds before the CFO hit the train tracks. I assume it was Granny Boo Boo Twinkleburger because I didn’t see her dance (correct me if I’m wrong).

Anyways, down to 18 laff, I certainly enjoyed dancing with you all at the end! Phew!

It is okay to drop a safe on a swarm, or throw stomped goons at a helmeted CFO to destroy them and thing the swarm.

Having read one of the fastest bedtime stories in history (I am UK so this run was at 9pm for me ) we barely managed to hit the pit in time for this run but we made it! After a quick Hi/How are ya to Izza and Alvin we scurried in to the lobby and wondered who we would be lucky enough to get in the elevator with. Angus was there with me, Alvin too and maybe his grandson and Izza was with a friend.

Well we didn't manage to get on with Angus so we charged the next elevator and slipped in with Weird Freckles Feathertoes who was Izza's young friend, leaving Alvin and Izza on the platform to take their chances elsewhere.

Pood was delighted to see Monkie on her side during the cogs and as we knew Monkie was a sound uber we quite happily fogged and ele'd our way through most of them. For the skele round Monkie and Skinny got replaced with WFF and Corky and we revised our strategy to LLKR, finishing off the last 4 with Pood's wedding cake. (She has become quite blase with her wedding cakes since she has 2 fruiting level 7 trees at her estate! )

The pie round was quite straightforward although Pood's attempts to front stun made her spend more time on her 'bottom' than she would have liked! Eventually abandoning this practice until a more appropriate time, we scooted round the back to stun far more comfortably from the right tread as her favourite left tread was already taken. Apart from the old bag of bolts getting a little jumpy in the middle, the progress down the slopes was good and the battle won with little difficulty. Excellent teamwork from everybody!

This was a weird craning round. There was a craner throwing helmets at the beginning, so we had to fight that. I had my goons bouncing off of the big guys face right back at me, so I had to pick them up and hit again (if he didn't have a helmet). In regards to the swarm, Kalin had a nice pile lined up (all stunned) for me on my side to continue throwing at the big guy but the helmet thrower dropped a safe on them and out came the red guys. I think it's great to throw a safe on the goons when they are awake and going to attack or there are tons of reds but these were yellows and oranges. It got real scary, real quick. My side immediately because swamped with reds, so I did what any dog would, put my tail between my legs and ran for safer ground (another quadrent). At these point the big guy was blinking red and the reds were taking a toll on everyone, I was fortune enough to catch that unite, thank you Kalin. He was down to 5 fighting off goons to protect the craners. I stomped some goons and cleared out an area so I could grab a goon with a crane. McZaner knocked off the helmet and I swung that last goon. I think we all worked well together considering the obsticles. I only wish I could have gotten to that crane alittle faster so our other member didn't go sad (get out away from the reds if they are swarming)!
On a happy note, Kalin got his suit promo, yay! Loan Shark!

Yes in my first screenshot I only had 7 on the elevator after the door closed, but in my second I had an arrow with Cupida's name, standing off in grey space or something. :dunno: It is not unusual lately for that to happen. We had that happen in our CJ also, and everyone panicked, and then was confused.

After the elevator doors closed, there were 7 toons. We're like "Oh no!" but then there were 8 toons in Cog round.....
Easy run, no trouble at all. :]
An invasion as a reward for getting promoted to a Big Wig... SCORE!
GREAT RUN! Probably one of the best CJ runs I've been on in a while. Very weird bug going around where one toon is totally invisible in the elevator...weird. Me & my SF Princess Lily both also got ND invasions....pretty cool! Grats on all the promots! Fun run...thanks y'all!

Monday afternoon found me busy doing maintenance on my computer. The poor thing had not been updated in quite a while and I think it, like its operator, is also becoming a bit senile. I hate messing with the computer since afterwards it is always a bit cranky for a few days. I was rescued from this chore by a phone call from my grandson asking if I could help him with his ToonTown tasks. Of course I could! So I logged on. Grandson was in the trolley games since he did not have enough jelly beans to buy gags as usual. As I waited I got a message from Poodleberry asking if I was coming to the CCG VP run. When grandson (Fat Corny Electronerd) finally showed up, I sort of jokingly asked him if he wanted to VP. Well, just like that he threw down a hole and was gone. I caught up with him just outside the doors into headquarters. This old brain was in full overload trying to tell my friends what was going on and trying to give Corny some last minute instructions. His response was, “Let’s go!” So we made our way up to the loading platform surrounded by friends. When the time seemed right we charged the doors as soon as they opened. I don’t know what everyone else saw, but what I saw was Alvin walking continuously and going nowhere. He was right in the middle of the doorway but it was like there was a glass wall and he walked with feet sliding in spite of anything I could do. I was no longer in control. Corny was on the elevator and it was full. And then he jumped off, “Oh great” I thought now Alvin will take his place. But no, Alvin just kept uselessly walking forward against the glass wall. Another big suit, a black cat as I recall, packed on. Still Alvin walked. Finally he stopped and I was in control again and I moved him back. When the doors opened again Alvin and Corny made it aboard with four others. Several toons still on the platform seemed to have no interest and left. You guys missed a good run!

For the cogs, Alvin was sided with Beltane and Queen Cranky. I shouted over to Corny to “follow their lead” and tried to hurry us in case we were needed over there. Susan had Familiar already in another VP so I had to be patient although I think Susan can run two faster than I can run one. I heard Corny stinking the cogs and later I heard his big sound, a bugle. Would you believe they finished first and Corny ran over to help us?

For the skelecogs nanavicky traded places with Queen Cranky. On the other side I heard either Corny or Candice barking at the skelecogs. That was encouraging…at least they were having fun! Near the end I went for the kill with big sound on a full but partly damaged set. Fortunately nanavicky recognized that it was probably the last of them and called me off so we could lure and heal. Thanks! So we did and then finished them. Alvin ran over to join the fray on the other side and we happily found them all in good health with just two skelecogs left.

For the pie fling I told Corny his most important job was to jump when the VP jumped. Pie throwing was secondary. With only six of us I did not want to have two tied up splatting. And he did very well. He never missed a jump. With this team we had excellent stunning of course and Alvin was in his glory driving the old bucket of bolts backward with right-in-your-face lobs from close up. Corny got in more than a few hits and thinks he might also have landed a lob stun once. I always like to think that myself! I watched with envy as he jumped over gear attacks. I look forward to his participation in a CCG training run. After the battle he complained about the card. Then I explained to him how valuable it would be in a tough battle when his team couldn’t afford a miss and he was down to his baby gags.

The entire battle lasted just under 20 minutes. The cog round took 4 ½, the skelecogs took 9 ¾, and the pie fight took a tad over 4 ½ minutes. During that time the VP managed only two jumps while our stunners landed 14 stuns..no contest!

Thank you all for helping me and my grandson with this, his third VP run. I promise to hammer home the no shuffling rule! It was a pleasure running with all of you again!

I have mixed feelings on this one. Only 6 of 8 danced...

I was on the 4 toon side both times and I during both rounds we had a lot of fun. Great team work and and some joking around. It didn't sounds like things went as well for the other side on either round though.

When my side finished the skele cogs, we ran over to see a row of unlured level 12's standing there dishing out damage. Poor Minty went sad before any of us could jump in to help (sorry Minty - please try again!). The remaining two came out ok though.

The pie round was quick and easy. The VP spent more time stunned and rolling back than dishing out damage.
Minty here: Okay, I swear I'm not going back into VP until I have over 60 laff! This is the second time I've gone sad because we've had a trio of twelves all dishing out -20s. I used my Clerk Clara (my one SOS card, sniff sniff) to try and kill those skeles, but the lure missed! Hiss!

Thanks for whoever threw that TOW unite in the cog round or early in the skelecog round- can't remember- you saved me once there! I hope to see you all again soon, and congrats on your win!
