Also, I dont think the toons were frozen because something went wrong with their account. The reason they stopped moving is because they Xed out of the game. The Dogfather |

That was so nice of you to use a +80 unite to toon people up. They are difficult to replace and pretty rare in the CFO. The toons need to be close by to benifit from it. Sometimes, it works to say, "I'll do the tune ups for us" from the CJ speed chat menu. Then say, "Meet here" and give them several seconds to drop what they are doing to run and meet you at the scale or the cogs where you can throw the unite.
Another viewpoint, in addition to the good one from The Dog Father: Once in awhile the timing is out of sync and what appears to be no activity at all is lag related. The toon might be throwing like crazy, but appears to just be standing there on your screen. If they run out of evidence and go get more, you can know that they were throwing whether you saw them throw or not. Sometimes the stunners don't appear to need help, but if bonuses aren't coming from having all cogs stunned, perhaps they do need one more on the line. Stunned cogs pays off to double the weight of the evidence at the scale. It's like putting twice the number of toons at that scale to hit it. It also pays off with +10 on every toon in the room, so it is like throwing unites each time all the cogs are stunned. It's ok to quietly stand behind the stunners and replace one when they leave for evidence. If you tab out to a bigger viewpoint you can see which cogs tend to wake and hit and give a helping toss occasionally to help out a lagged toon. The toon might not even be aware that they've hit a tiny bit too soon (stars were still spinning) so the cog didn't get the evidence stun from their hit, and it will wake before they get to it again. There's no problem with seating 6 in the jury. The scale starts a bit higher and the battle takes a little longer, not a big deal. If the trend is to outthrow the cogs, and the toon's scale is dropping...sooner or later a win is inevitable.

I have noticed that if people are just standing there like they are froze, and yet I can still run around that I am experiencing some serious lag. Most times when I see this I get the boot almost 45-80 seconds, and toontown tells me my connection to the servers has been broken! There are times I do not lose connection while lagging, and the description of what I see go on around me sounds like yours. I only recently found this out after my tf accused me of holding out in the vp
come to find out I was lagging so bad that we weren't seeing the same parts of battle!

In my opinion folks there is no way Disney servers could send enough information back and forth to allow you to all play the game at Disney. So, the games, including bossbot battles are actually played on your computer using progarms loaded there from Disney. Then the only things that need to be sent back and forth are the changes in the situation..still a lot of data but a lot less than if everything had to be sent back and forth. So what you are seeing on your screen of yourself and what you do happens in your computer. What others are doing comes from the servers. If the servers glitch or your connection slows, you might not get the needed updates of the others and it will look like they are doing nothing. A good example of this is at the end of the VP battle and dance. There is a brief pause before you teleport out when the others are doing nothing and you can run around. One of the funniest things I ever did was with a grandson when we switched monitors and tried to run our toons around the streets by watching the other persons computer. Man talk about visulal lag, it was near impossible to do anything.
