Question ToonTown Survey?

Just now that I logged out I got a pop up window from TT with a picture of Flippy asking me if I would like to participate in a TT survey. I was asked my age group. I selected 18 years or older and then got a "Thats all for now" type of response but in greater length.

My questions to everyone else is, has anyone else got this? If so, did you get the same response I did after entering your age group? Did you get more questions if you selected a younger age group?

Edit: My wife got to answer the survey. And selected a different age group was was then asked How long have you played TT. She responded 3 months or more and then got the "Thats all for now" response.

Anyone else get further then this?

Yes, when I selected the 13-17 age group, or whatever it was, the survey ended, but when I selected the 9-12 age group many, many questions followed.
It asked
  • How long I've been playing
  • What I like about toontown, my three favorite things
  • Other online games I've played
  • Which of the online games I selected was my favorite and second favorite
  • How difficult or easy I though things were such as making an account, fishing, racing, battling cogs etc.
  • It asked if I thought we had too many or not enough toons, gardening, speedchat, racing etc.
  • How often I do things such as using the speedchat, battling cogs, fishing etc.
  • And if I thought toontown was a great, good, okay, bad, or horrible game.
I feel like I'm missing something, and I don't remember the survey word for word.

I chose 18 and over on all 3 accounts. I considered changing the age group, but I figured I really want Disney to know that there is a large amount of adults playing... perhaps it will cause them to consider their rules a little differently. Stranger things have happened.

This is my post from another thread.......

Why would they ask younger kids about fishing and HQs? How many kids do you see fishing? Especially maxing fishing.....If they were smart, they would ask all age groups their opinions and try to make the game better for everyone instead of for one age group, otherwise they will be loseing alot of subscribers, and more important to them.......money.

My son has one of his toons on one of my accounts. He started to answer the questions but I had him exit it and go to his own account. There he picked ages 7-9 and was asked a ton of questions. It also listed a bunch of other online games and asked what he played. He chose a couple. It then listed all he had picked including toontown and asked which was his favorite. He chose Webkinz as his favorite and it proceeded to ask him a bunch of questions comparing toontown to Webkinz. He rated Webkinz higher on all questions. They must have loved that!

so the chronological mature are treated differently, heh!

I call that age discrimination. I'm hiring a lawyer and taking Toontown to the CJ. LOL

My guess is they realize the kids quit playing long before the adults do, and they want to figure out how to keep them.

I agree they should be getting input from all ages, but with most of the adults I know, the kids no longer play. I would personally like to see them get my kids back too!

Did it ever occur to anyone that putting more young ranges than is accurate may mean tougher chat restrictions instead of them relaxing them?

We adults tend to stick around longer. My son only playes about 4 days a week instead of 7. He is more interested in "constructively criticizing" his parents since his preteen self knows everything. (For the record he only has a sellbot disguise whereas his dumb parents have sellbot and cashbot .)

He actually started getting back to it when my wife got interested in playing. Now to get a second account, and a second machine as well, that won't be anytime soon.

The survey ends unless you are young. They are looking for further info from kids. I clicked the over 18 and it ended both times I logged off.
