Toons Without Cog Disguise Going To Fight the VP

We were at the last CCG VP run of the night last night (Saturday, October 6) and saw something very strange.

We couldn't believe our eyes when we saw two toons without their cog disguise in the loading area near the elevator. One of them even got on the elevator.

How could that happen? The game won't let you go in the door without your cog disguise.

Just wondered if anyone knew. I checked with one of the CCG ambassadors and they didn't know either.

Hmm, I think it's a glitch that toons do on purpose. You should check the Bug/Glitch Forum and post there. Sorry if I can't help further more.

It is a glitch that is purposely done to cause problems. This is one of the reason CCG asks that nobody glitch at our runs. It is obvious that those players mean only to confuse the loading process and wreak havoc. My recommendation is to report the toons to an Ambassador (you can find a list in the CCG Incident Report Form listed in my signature). You can also do your best by insuring elevators go off packed by trying to board if you see one of these individuals on board. The vator may look full, but that doesn't mean it necessarily is.

I will admit that I know of a little duck that has gotten in the lobby a couple of times, but not during scheduled CCG runs. Since he has no suit, he cannot board the elevator and has only appeared to send good wishes to the toons going off to fight the CFO.

I saw a toon without their suit in the VP lobby once. I was randoming though...

I have been seeing this quite a lot as of late, and in groups at a time no less. Some have even boarded successfully with us.

Don't know why, I guess it's a glitch, but I haven't experienced any more than the usual problems of boarding with randoms than normal. In a crowded district with randoms, there is always shuffling and mayhem. I don't run with the CCG, so I can't say anything about that.

It IS a glitch and very easy to do, but most people I know who do it, just do it for fun, not to cause trouble (though a with everything in this game, there are exceptions). If you see suitless toons on the elevator, they ARE taking a spot just as any toon in a suit would. The minute the elevator doors close their suits will appear.

I agree though, CCG, where the atmosphere is supposed to be as non confusing as possible, is not the place for any glithing. I can assure you though it is harmless. BUT as with any other group/clan, etc. you must follow the rules.

Mad Eyed Toony went to board the elevator for a VP once, and in the hustle and bustle of pushing into the elevator with 6-10 other toons, he went through and out the back of the elevator. He still had his suit back there, but when he walked through the wall back into the VP elevator lobby, he lost his suit but was not restricted in loading the elevator again. It may be an apparent freak glitch as well as a glitch on demand.

I think you just need a friend with the suit who knows the glitch, & you need to be waiting outside the doors.
