CFO crane questions
Okay, I'm pretty new to the CFO runs-- I'm just a little PP-- but somehow I always seem to end up on crane. I've figured out how to throw the safe at the CFO (that KLUNK it makes when it hits ROCKS!!) but I can't figure out how to throw the goons! For some reason, I can't get my crane over to where the goons are. How do I pick up the goons??? I've ended up mostly just holding a safe and then when the CFO gets stunned, throwing the safe on over. Also, the few times I've managed to actually throw a goon and stun him, I don't have enough time to get a safe and throw that too before he comes un-stunned. Any tips?? Help, please!! I want to help you CCGers out as much as I can-- if it wasn't for you guys, I'd never go on boss runs-- on the "outside," people see my small suit and won't get on the elevator with me.
 But thanks to you guys, I can go on runs-- and actually HAVE FUN!!! So someone PLEASE help me out with my craning, so I can do a better job next run!!  Lady Fluffy Googlemuffin 107 organic throw! |

You do the same thing to the goons when you pick up the safe. Make sure it's a disabled one, though.
This is a good CFO guide, you'll probably find your answer right there. |

For a goon, if the goon is right in front of the doors, you will have to swing it back and out to pick it up. If the crane is all the way in the out position but not swinging forward, then you won't be able to reach it. I have a tendency to hold the control key the whole time I'm moving the crane outward toward the goon/safe to pick it up.
Another thing, I use a slow time to get the safes and position them closer to me. That way they are right there to grab conveniently. Ooh, and come to a training run too! Those are a blast and so educational. You get to practice all you want without any pressure.

Murky usually hosts a CFO training run once a month - not sure whether she has one scheduled yet. But keep an eye on the CCG forums for the post about it. They are always held at the weekend and are awesome for practicing.

Ooh, I might have to go to one of those. I stink at the crane. Every time I try to control it just swings everywhere.:P
