CCG Fac/Mint Runs

I was a member in '05 and there used to be a place where CCG members gathered to go on merit runs together.

I've recently started playing again and find it tedious trying to take facs with toons who just want to take advantage of my toon-up as they train their gags sloooooooooooooooowly!

Is there a thread for this, or do I need to post in 'help me' every time I need merits?

It would be nice having CCG members coming together to get their merits; that way I don't have to go with randoms who love to elevator shuffle

I'm not sure why I'd have to be popular to run with toons from CCG. I thought it was a group thing, can you be more specific as to why I need to be popular?

I don't think Kit was referring to you, personally. We've tried several times to get factory and mint runs going and have had little success. People are still intent on trying to get into Nutty River to take advantage of seemingly endless invasions. For awhile, a couple of us volunteered to use our own invasions to benefit members of the CCG and we still had very little attendance. I *think* Kit meant that if the "idea" or the "group" gained enough popularity to actually work, you should consider DA office in addition to factories and mints.

BTW, Miss Daphne, I remember you. It's been a long time... great to see you back!

Yes, I love going to Nutty River, but if only the toons there would hop on and stay on!

It would help immensely if the idea became much more poplular, and included the DA offices for the toons currently doing CJ runs. I suppose throwing out our own invasions would help, but the problem is, we can't just throw out invasions all day

Yes, that is what i meant

Once the group gets alot of members, or people doing the factory/mint runs, then we can add DA office's for the people who are already maxxed in cash or sell or the people working on law

I tried to help out the last attempt on doing this, and only less then 10 people attended.

I dont know if this will work. If everyone is intent on going to busy districts. Why not go to either nutty river, nutty summit (backup 1) or nuttyboro (backup 2), in that order depending on when you can get in. But instead of switching districts meet at specific times ex. like on the hour (10:00, 11:00 etc ) then hook up with whichever ccg members are there and keep working with that group. Just a thought because I always have trouble too. I hate to ask friends to help me because I know it takes them away from what they are doing ( even though I know they would stop in a heartbeat as I would ). This way you know whoever is there is there for the same reason. Anyway, just a suggestion. If you see me around and you need a hand just say HELP! Unless im helping a friend or I am on a deadline (cfo in 15 minutes and I still need bux ) im ready.

I find the factory tedious and boring. However, it is a necessary evil. My daughter and I go together on the side elevator (just the two of us, if possible) and whiz right through using sound. That way we avoid the working of gags. There have been times when we can't go alone (we won't jump) but that also can't be avoided. So find a friend and just the two of you go. Makes it much faster.
