Many of you are aware that in June of this year, I became a moderator for the forums, yet still continued in my role as an Ambassador. For those of you that are confused about the difference in the two roles, I will try to explain:
Ambassador - Duties handled by Ambassadors include (but are not limited to) attending CCG sponsored runs and events, contacting individuals that are not following CCG guidelines, helping to clarify CCG guidelines/strategies within gameplay, encouraging education of CCG guidelines/strategies within gameplay, sometimes boarding with certain individuals (either because they are new or because we know they have been contacted for rulebreaking on runs), and helping to encourage member morale. All Ambassador duties relate to gameplay at CCG sponsored runs and events only, including discussions regarding those events.
Moderator - Duties handled by Moderators of TTC include (but are not limited to) contacting individuals that are not following TTC forum guidelines, clarfication of TTC forum guidelines, other administrative duties relating to the TTC website and/or TTC hosted IRC chat rooms. Moderator duties never include judgements on gameplay or CCG guidelines, and any posts made by moderators in such discussions are their own opinion as members and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the CCG or the TTC website.
When I first became moderator, I was asked if I wanted to continue in my responsibilities as an Ambassador. At that time, I chose to remain an Ambassador until such time that a post was made to find a replacement. The summer is not a good time to seek new Ambassadors because people are so busy.
I've enjoyed my time as Ambassador. The Ambassador team is a fantastic group of individuals that give of their time, voluntarily, to help uphold the guidelines of this wonderful organization. Without the CCG, I doubt I'd still be playing. I'm sure I'm not the only person that feels this way. I thank the Ambassador team for their hard work for this organization. For personal reasons, I am stepping down as Ambassador.
Any reported incidents that are sent to my attention will be forwarded to an active Ambassador. All posted lists of Ambassadors have had my name/contact information removed. Any opinions I express regarding CCG guidelines and gameplay are my own as a
member. There should be no further confusion about whether I am wearing my Ambassador or my Moderator hat.
Please, please do not think I'm going anywhere! I'm still a proud member of the CCG and I still plan to attend runs/events with the CCG. I'll still be hosting the CJ training runs and stinking my buddies in the pit. My toons all carry plenty of lipstick to give you a hug when you are having a bad day and I'm still going to be fish slapping all of you with my Devil Ray on IRC.
