Sorry about my noobness to the 5:30 PST CJ run. I was a lv 1 Bottom feeder and got into one of the last to leeave groups. There were 6 of us and everyone else was a big wig. It went well at first but then I totally screwed up with the jury part. Then with the evidence I'm sure I appeared strange as I was jumping constantly. This was because my speakers were shot and I could not here him jump. So anyway ppl used two TOW tu-80 on me and I feel like they were wasted on me so sorry.

P.S. Thanks a ton for taking me through my first run though!

I had the same problem. Next time stand on the side of the pan facing the CJ. You can see him squat before he jumps. There is a spot you can fit into without getting hit by gavels. Good luck! (I got new speakers yesterday wooohooo)

LOL - "screwed up the jury part" - there are BW50s who can't seat a single juror - and BFs who instantly get the hang of it and seat 3 every time...don't let that bother you in the least....just read some of the threads on how to do the cannon round, and you'll find you can always seat at last one.

I've run a cj without sound, but it is very difficult - the suggestion to stand on the side of the pan facing the cj is what I would also make for you....its the only wayto contribute and at the same time keep from getting those -10 hits....

I always watch out for that then jump

I dont remember what the phrase is :-(, since i havent cj'ed in a long time and havent cj'ed with sound in a long time (i really need to get those dumb JN's)

This one took awhile but it ended great. I was really surprised that the our BF 1 didn't even hesitate jumping on this elevator. It took him awhile to learn how to avoid all those gavels and jump but by the end he was a pro. I only threw one unite I think there might have been one more by the scale. The battle was kinda long but everyone did great!!!!

You did GREAT!!! No need to apoigize You did SOOOOO much better than me on my first run. I dont think I would have even attempted to go short then. Don't worry about the unites that why we have them.
