Meanwhile, Little E, one thousand apologies....i"m on the internet at a hotel, and it keeps dropping me...if I blew that VP run for you guys, I'll do pennance of running extra DAs....I'm really really sorry...shouldn't try to mix business travel with a little fun....

Craig
We ended up all having to bail on that run Craig, but not because of you. We lost the mouse in the Skele round due to a disco, and the little dog that was with us insisted upon us tooning him up more than throwing pies at the VP. He would jump in front of us and when we would try to go around him, he would continue to follow us. He was probably a kid, so I tried my best to keep him at a decent laff level, but with him being a 67, not jumping when the VP jumped, and apparently having a comfort level of 67, he insisted upon a toon up constantly. We threw several unites, but the VP was simply not going over the edge. I told everyone to bail, we still stayed, Loki told everyone to bail, we still stayed, Wally told everyone to bail, we still stayed. We fought a good fight, but sometimes it was just not meant to be. The second time Wally suggested we bail, her son bailed, then she went, I told momma to go, and I stayed to make sure the dog understood what we were doing. By the time, I got him to relaize, the VP was all the way back up under the cage. Once the dog jumped in a hole, I left. It was around 10:00 CDT, so I took Loopy to the CCG run, I couldn't get on the elevator with him, so I bowed out, but hung around to make sure he danced. So victory was his!!
And to all those who have no clue what I am talking about, Last night a little 7 year old boy. Little Loopy Bumblebrains, went to Nutty River to do VP, everyone bailed on him in the elevator, yet he stayed to try and win anyway. He ended up going sad, so I rallyed a few toons together for a revenge run in Crazy River, but we loaded with only 7 (2 of them randoms). We lost 2 to disco, and well you know the rest of the story.
Also my apologies to the CCG runners at the 10:00 CDT VP. Wally did jump off the elevator once, when she realized that Loopy was not on there with her. But, that was her son and he was very upset at already losing 2 VPs in a row. She wanted to assure that the little guy danced. And thanks to the CCG, he did!!!!!!!
I am also sorry that I was on the platform and not loading. I had intended on logging off after we all bailed on the other VP, but Loopy wanted me there. My main purpose was to make him smile again. I knew that the CCG would get him a win, and if I wasn't on the elevator with him, I wanted to somewhere where I could keep an eye on his laff. So I did not load.
Wally and I try hard to stick to the CCG guidelines, and we both broke a rule last night, but it was for a very upset little boy, so I hope we are forgiven.

Kerri

P.S. Craig, I still owe you a factory for helping last night.... Yes I do!! So hollar at me when you are ready, I will be on most of the evening, because it is "Man's Night" at my house, so all my boys (including hubby) will be fishing!!!!!

Well it's good it all worked out in the end. I know how that feels when a toon steals your shots to tu himself, when he really doesnt need it.

Oh Kerri, I wish I was online last night...I would have been more than happy to help you guys out. If you ever need help & I am online, please whisper to me. If Lady Flappy doesn't have enough to go, I can always switch over to Flappy McPhooey. I am glad to hear that Loopy finally got to dance. Also, if you ever want to arrange a special run for him, let me know.

I don't mind tooning toons up. In fact, I usually will click on toons during battles to check on their laff, and if they need a toon up, I will gladly give it to them. I especially keep my eyes on the ubers when I am in a run with them. However, this little dog was VERY persistant, he insisted upon staying in front of you so that you could not pie the VP, and he wouldn't jump when the VP jumped, so he was constantly needing toon up. It took away from us defeating the VP, but it was not the cause of us having to bail, it was just one of many problems. Loki was possesed and once was flung all the eay to the back side of the screen, I was tiny and could not receive pie toon ups, the VP was very jumpy, and rarely opened his doors, and had a knack for stopping at an angle so we could not reach his undercarriage. It was everything all rolled into one. But, in the end, he defeated the VP, so all was well. But, now I owe his older brother a night of help, hee hee. Can't devote a whole night to one without doing the same for the other.

Hee hee, you typed this while I was typing my reply to the other one. Thanks for the offer. He is very determined to max in Sell, and does not have patience to wait for the CCG runs. So far he has done pretty good going on randoms, he is a HW15, but every now and then he does get a bad group. He gets so excited when big toons offer to help him, because it makes him feel special.

You are too kind. - no paybacks are ever necessary. I will always help in circumstances like this, on some toon. I just wish the stupid hotel's internet had stayed on. I'm fairly certain we would have been successful - after all, soloing the pie round is my specialty! Who was doing the back door close in pie throwing? Sorry it didn't go well - at least it wasn't for a Prof. Pete.

OHHHHHh!!!! I GOT A SECOND PROFESSOR PETE! Not on Candy Sparkleface, but one on Obsidian in a very late, short elevator CCG run a few days ago - on Obsidian's run # 33 no less...so unlike Candy's 325 runs without one (and not another one since mind you...) Obsidian is WAAAYYY ahead of the game!

Later -
Craig

My very special thanks to two of the best toons (in my opinion only) in Toontown, Little E & Loki. I know that last night's tentative agenda was for us to complete a couple more DA runs and the dreaded 8900 jury notice tasks.

After Loopy's first VP loss and while he was every so sadly walking around Daisy's Garden with his head hung low, Mom felt mercy and told him that she would get Wally to help him with a revenge run. Since Little E, Loki, and Wally always run together, I whispered to Little E to tell her my plans thinking that it would take no more than 30 minutes and then Wally could join them. The rest, as they say, is history that you have already read about.

Also, special thanks to Craig for getting Candy to assist. Gotta love those hotel internet connections!

Last but not least, my apologies to the CCG for jumping off of the elevator when I realized that Little Loopy was not able to load the same elevator. How does the saying go, "You would do anything for your kids...". So sorry but it had been a long, painful and very TEARFUL night at my house and I had to see this one through to the very end.

It doesn't get much better then when friends drop whatever they are working on to assist you and your baby.

THANK YOU ALL!!
