Great run, not such a great reward.
Not sure if anyone else noticed this or not.... but on this run, my little mouse, Incognito, was on a crane. Near the end, my crane quit working. I could not use my arrow keys at all!!! The safe that was attached to my magnet started jumping on my screen but would not come off the magnet. I was frantically looking at my keyboard to see if a key was stuck or figure out what was going on. When I could not get my keyboard to respond, I thought I would jump off the crane so someone else could hop on and maybe help out. When I clicked the exit button my toon shot across the room jumping the whole way. She was outta control!!!!! Then all of a sudden she stopped, and I was able to run back to my crane and assist in taking him down. This all took only about 20 seconds to transpire, but in a CFO, time can be crucial. It wasn't until AFTER we were dancing that I realized that my Norton's had kicked in during the CFO, could this have caused the strange behavior of my toon? Or should she not have drank two cups of java before the run???? Has this ever happened to anyone else???
And thanks to a great bunch of toons for taking down the CFO so quickly while I was obsessed!!!

Ahhh so that's what happened! I love hearing what was going on when a toon acts a bit differently than we expected. It's often an interesting story!

I've had problems with Norton's terrible timing in the CJ. It'll be going great and suddenly I'm in slow motion and my evidence is passing right through my target without hitting it. I think the lag monster is Norton's stalker.

I've had friends using wireless, and bizarre behavior can be a sign that the batteries need to be replaced. However, I think you are correct that the real reason was too much coffee. It's done it to me many times. I don't recommend switching to decaff, like I did to solve the problem, because it is highly unsatisfying and tastes bad too.

It was a good run anyway and we all had a great time. Please pass the coffee.

Hee hee!
I will never admit it's the coffee.
I was on a training run, still learning to crane when my toon ran at high speed across the room, totally out of my control. That was the first time something like that had happened to me, but since then it has happened again. I believe it was McAffeine in my case...

Yesterday was a day of bizarre happenings on TT.

I went on 3 random VPs (I know, I know, MY BAD) - the first one I ended up being one of two left in the pie round and the other decided to just stand in the corner and jump while I did all the work (buh bye) so that one I made it out of with all my gags. The next one we were down to 4 for the skeles, one toon went sad on the other side so the remaining toon alted, leaving me and a 60 laffer. I used all my 7s and TOWs to keep us alive, but to no avail... we both went sad when our gags missed (lure and toon up) on the last 12... Then on the 3rd run we all made it...

started doing factories, standing outside the center silo waiting for an invasion to start, checked my gags and I KNOW I had 324 throw points to go... when the invasion started, I engaged the cogs, lured, then went to use cake and I had level 7 cake with 500 exp pts "to go". Not that I am complaining!

But anyway, I think it was probably a mixture of everything...

TT was being loony, something got sticky on your keyboard, Norton kicked in and your coffee put it all in high speed.

That's my story and I am stickin to it!
