The VP run started at 7:45 central (8:45 eastern) so you were almost 1/2 hour late. Likely it wasn't even CCG members.

Sorry for DP, but calm down. Most likely there is a late group. Not always. If you remember the toon(s) name(s) look them up on the CCG database. If they aren't there, they aren't CCG members.

Actually, this is what it says at the CCG Website...

If you are late and you really want to go, hang around on the platform; it is not uncommon for a final group to gather and launch up to 30 minutes after the official run time.

That doesn't mean there will always be a group for late people. It just means that it's possible there are others who were late, or didn't get to board and wait around to try to form a load.

As wonderful as it sounds, not many people really have the time to just wait around for a latecomer.

The next VP run tonight isn't till late but there are four runs tomorrow and three on Sunday, hopefully you can make one of those. Try to get there about five minutes BEFORE run time and hang out in the pit, then head in when it's time. Good luck.

... but best stick to coming at
least 5 minutes early. It should increase
your rate of victorys!

And hope you don't crash in the elevator...been there, done that. At least the timer was at 15 seconds when I did. Ended up in a last load (from what I could tell) with a batch of Hollys.

for some reason - may because more adults? The CJ often will see the final group of 8 leave 15-20 minutes after run time....I know I'm almost never on time....lol...its how I start every post..."I arrived late, as usual..."

Sorry you were ditched by randoms, maybe try to go to a CCG run at the scheduled times and you will have better luck.
