The stinky purple horse, smelling of fish bait and rubber boots, finally left Minnies Alto Avenue pond with fish number 70. I’ll let him fill in the stats because he once mentioned a spreadsheet of some sort and frankly I was a bit creeped-out. TMI, honey, TMI!!!! He carved his name under one peer in the Brrrgh where he acquired the bulk of 60,000 fish needed to get the last 3 ultra rares. I believe he spent almost 120 hours at the ponds and once said.” . . . nothing can separate a man from his pole.” <edit> My Ladybug Picklepie tried to show a little leg but it was no use. He was determined to fish 20 to 40 buckets a day for 5 months.

Huge congrats to anyone and everyone that can hang on to their sanity and persevere alone in the freezing ice pond at the Brrrgh to max out fishing. IMO it takes more will power than running those hundreds of DA Offices and winning 300 races.

I only have one question? All that time at the ponds and you couldn’t even take a dip Smirk? We still can’t get a full load for CFO. The other night I had to stand between you and Noisy so she wouldn’t faint from the uh scent? Luckily her sweet smell enticed a random toon (on her other side) to stay on for a fun 4 toon run. Now that you’re done, let’s work on the grooming. LVTP has offered braiding services on many occasions and I think its time for new look, that funky fishing hat is so last year.

That is absolutely great - WOW! - to get all 70 species of fish.

Lion Heart has 6 more to go and has spent some singular time at various ponds noted for the missing species. One night, he fished out 21 buckets of fish and never found the Full Moon fish. It's a long road to go and it must take a lot of patience.

Fishing is not for me.

I have probably fished 4000 buckets in the Brrrgh PG to catch the Concord on Open.

I never so much as caught the All Star or Devil Ray, let alone the Concord. I had caught the All Star at my estate and the Devil Ray I caught at Donald's Dock, but you would have thought I might have caught one of those.

On Test, I have caught the Concord TWICE, one time on two different toons.

After that, I have given up on fishing and I started drinking instead.

I keep having this bad dream about me fishing and there really NOT being any ultra rare fish. Well, you proved me wrong. Congrats on all 70 fish!
I heard there was a bog beast in the ponds tho? Did you encounter any weird beings? I would hate to start rumors

First 66 Fishies - 26,843 total caught (estimate)
Number 67 Full Moon - 22,820 caught
Number 68 Concord - 39,546 caught
Number 69 Grizzly - 14,776 caught
Number 70 Grand Piano - 2,260 caught

Total Fishies Caught - 106,245

Not bad, but not great. I didn't live on the ponds, but slow and steady got it done.
