Someone please refresh my memory

Hi - its been months since I finished DDL on Candy Sparkleface and Twiddlespeed (6 I think). I'm finishing up Obsidian right now. I've finished 250 beans, 80 gags, teleport. I'm carrying tasks for 8 laff points that will get me to 100 laffs (not including the 4 from gardening and the 5 from fishing I have - no racing yet).

So, I have a blank spot in my tasks right now. If I complete the three I"m carrying, will it then offer me the Prof. Flake /thermometer task for Law HQ, or do I actually have to do some of the awful "just for fun" tasks?

I seem to recall that you have to do some just for fun tasks, but its been too long.....

Otherwise I'll leave the spot blank, finish up what I'm carrying and move on to the odious visit-every-street-for-a temperature reading or whatever task

I didn't have to do any JFF tasks. As soon as I completed the last DDL task, it offered the Professor Flake task.

I'm pretty sure you just have to have all the Just for Fun tasks cleared out. The way I remember it, until all your tasks are empty, it won't offer the Prof. Flake tasks.

Yeah that one is mandatory, so is the help a new toon (under 25 laff) defeat a 3+ story building. Actually, I think you have to take that one a few times. But don't worry, I have a really cute black cat that can help you with those!!!!!

You don't need to do any Just For Tasks that I know of. I don't think I had to do any.

I'd leave it blank, unless you have kids under 6, like me, that will waltz into the shop and choose one of those HORRID tasks for ya! Then I'd consider snatching up something painless

When you finish the last task for ddl, 250 jellies, 80bag and the 10 laffs in last set of task , you can get law suit part. No funtask requiered. You dont even need to finish the ones you are carrying.

But, once you take Professor Flake's flaky assignment, you cannot take any other task till you are done, I think. So, if you want to be small for any reason, or big, tall, or white, or invisible, etc etc, do it before you visit the Flaky monkey. (He is a monkey isn't he?) Been a while since I did that task and Britannia is thinking of passing on Law completely!

I didn't think that task was so bad! It only took a good 15 minutes. Not like that horrible one in the brrrgh when you had to beat 20 buildings. THAT took forever.

And I never did just for fun tasks until after I got my lawbot suit so... Yeah...

Ya, you have to finish up every task you are carrying before you are offered that task.

I'm pretty sure you can take the Flake task while there are still "for fun" tasks in your book, as long as all the other tasks are complete.

I'd recommend filling up any empty task spots with general cogs for beans tasks before you turn in the last laff task. You'll probably have them completed before you finish your suit.

I found the least stressful way to get all those sensors was in buildings. Go to a bldg on each street (heck, help a little toon while you are there), have a tp toon waiting in the bldg for you to go to after each sensor. I got a part on the first building almost every time, vs running around catching 10 individual cogs for each part.
