Ok so we loaded the elevator to go fight. Really only one cold caller which was my other toon Silly Flapjack Hulaberry. Everyone else middle and 2 Mr Hollywoods. EKB, can't remember rest of it and EKB2 loaded and then disappeared on the elevator. I am to understand no leaving or f4 ing if there are 8 toons. My mother was on there too Ladybug and she is not a happy camper. Left 5 of us there so we f4 out of there and ended up sad and my mom lost all her big gags to boot. Not sure on why they left but they did it right on the elevator and we are not happy campers. So far the ccg has been wonderful when we go fight. This is the first time we have had any trouble. Not sure who these toons are but that was not nice at all and we thought it was against the rules.

I try to play before I go to bed. I have a limited amout of time to play because of having to get up for work in the mornings. So I try to run the early evening times.

I think I was on this elevator with you. I remember a bigger Holly on the sides once we all loaded. Then whenever we showed up and got ready to fight, we were down to 5 and no Hollys to be found. We all agreed to leave since it was 2/3 on each side....i ended up sad and by the time I got gagged up and laughed up, it was around 7:10 and no-one was to be found at the platform.

Not sure if they decided they did not want to play or got disco'd. Either way, I missed this run and was really looking forward to it! I guess we could have tried to get through the run but with only 5 toons, it would be very hard.

I might be done with making dinner by the next run but if not, I will try again tomorrow.

have you cross referenced the names with the little info you have on these toons to see if they are CCG members? I also might add that actually putting their names out there before knowing what really happened is a bit of a rush to judgement. Try sending what info you do have and a screenie if at all possible to a MOD and let it go from there.

If you actually know they are members here on the forum send this or theses person(s) a PM and keep it on the down low. You might be amazed and what was the real cause behind this. Maybe this person was running both toons and as some of us encountered the Toontown has lost your internet connection. Maybe the power went out. Real life happens and we have no control over it

Until these thing have been verified or if at all, this quick rush to judgement that they just left is a bit harsh

If you can, I would try to battle the cogs and then leave before the skelecogs, that way you don't go sad... or give it your best shot and go sad knowing you fought as hard as you could.

I didn't quite have the same situation but we loaded with 8.
1 jumped and left us with 7.
There were only 2 high laffs on board. Me and my friend.
We had 3 in the 30s laff range (one of them another friend of mine) and 2 60ish.
When we got to the skels... 1 of the 30s disco'd.
That left us with 6 and we fought and won.

First, I'm sorry you had a bad run. When something like this happens, these are the things that go through my mind.


1. It's possible there was a disco or an emergency occurred.

2. Am I sure these toons are CCG members.

Those names don't ring any bells for me as members. Remember when things like this happen, feel free to message one of the ambassadors and we will do our best to follow up and find out what happened. In the PM try to include as much information as you can.

It's understandable that people get upset over losing their level 7's. I do it all the time. I went on a random cfo run today with 7. Looked back up and I was all alone. Don't get mad. RL issues might prevail. Funny how RL issues happen all at once tho. OOF! I am trying to be a better player and use patience with children. They have hurt me, stank me, and risked me but I really am learning to stand up for myself.

I also was shocked at tonights shuffle! As I neared the elevator, I saw several toons shuffle off and I packed my toon Temper Tim Purr on. He stayed on the first elevator he boarded. Toons continued to shuffle on and off with big toons blocking the doors. I was completely surprised to find we had 8 when the doors closed. I get extremely angry over failure to shuffle and lack of packing on. And since your unclear accusations could potentially cast shadows over toons who do follow the rules, I would suggest you get as much information and contact an ambassador. Please refrain from calling people out in a public forum - especially if you only have a portion of the information. I completely understand your frustration, but take a moment to collect yourself before you post.

Please forgive saying that information out in public. I realize after writing it that I made a huge mistake. I do not want to hurt anyone's rep that are really good toons who love to play and help others. I am fairly new to the guild and didn't realize the right way to go about it. Please forgive me and I promise not to call anyone out again. Didn't mean to make anyone upset. Thanks for all your input.

On a happier note. Since joining the guild I have enjoyed being able to fight the big boys without shuffling. Everyone has been great. I do hope I didn't hurt or get anyone mad for the way I posted. I love being able to fight with yall.

No problem, we've all been there and totally understand the frustration. Sometimes I find I type up a rant, then when I read it through before posting, I've calmed down and decide that it was as big a deal as I thought. We really try to eliminate the shuffle with CCG but sometimes it happens.

Pack on those elevators everyone, that's how we eliminate it!

One of my friends, "tim" disconnected and then my phone rang. My daughter answered ane the first words she said were, "Dude, why did you disconnect?!!!! You left my mom on that elevator!!!!"

He replied that he was being booted repeatedly. I can attest to that: he logged on and off about 5 times while I was finishing my merits and gagging up. He had problems tonight that he usually doesn't have. He is 10 years old and a sweetheart. I believe him.

As for the other holly that disco'd... I don't know that person. I was even more shocked to see only five of us go into battle.

I made sure the people on my side agreed before we left for the playground. Of course at that point all I could do as alt-f4. I also lost my gags (level 7) and went sad.

I am sorry that this happened. This is ususally a very reliable friend. I purposely did not wait for my unreliable friend, "nobody", in order to protect the group. I am so sorry.

Exactly, you never know what you are capable of if you don't stick around to try. I'm sorry you found yourself in this situation, but regardless of the reason it seems silly to alt out. If you alt, you will go sad no matter what. At the very least, try to finish out the cogs and then make a decision. The rush of surviving when the odds seem all against you is way better than dancing on a smooth run.

I've been in so many situations where I was sure I was going to end up pushing up daisies and ended up dancing. A little over a month ago I took my cash uber-in-training to a VP, she was 65 laff with no maxed gags yet, a brand new elephant and some barbie magnets. I ended up on a 5 toon load with a 55 laff CC1 with gags a bit worse than mine. Of the 3 big toons, 2 of them were lureless. TT showed some mercy and split us 2 little toons for the skeles, I ended up on the 3 side with the 2 lureless toons. We had taken a hit from the first cog and were now faced with a row of 3 12s and 1 11. Even if I'd had a maxed fog, we could have only killed 1 cog unless someone used a level 7 or an SOS (which they didn't, they both picked tu). 3 lose cogs would have easily sent my kitty back to the pg, so I said my prayers and pulled out barbie. Wouldn't ya know it, that little pink magnet not only worked it held for 3 rounds! No SOS or unites were even used and all 5 of us danced for Melody Wavers.

Whether you entered the "unwinnable" battle intentionally, had toons that disco'd leaving the picture looking bleak, or had toons that chickened out and ran . . . stick it out. You may surprise yourself!
