Another thank you.

I have no idea who was involved in this, but my 9 year old niece made her first successful VP run today. I was not with her, and she lives in a different location so I did not see what all took place. But I know someone kept her from going sad.

Her name is Princess Lollipop. She was so excited over getting this done that I had to share.

Smile Tonight's VP

If she is a periwinkle blue mouse I can give you the who's - and for her to be 9 she did AWESOME!!

This VP started with 8 but only 6 danced.

I had taken my primary toon (Loki) into a VP run earlier to help with an ubers revenge run and she was not able to make the CCG run so I took my secondary toon, Mac McMonkey, on her first VP with my regular TT running buddy (my daughter) Little E. I was concerned because my little toon has very limited gags, but Little E convinced me it would be okay and that she had carried her secondary in the VP at about that level. It wasn't until we were in the elevator that I realized we had an uber with us (minor stress since I always worry about losing an uber). And it wasn't until we were between cog & skele's that I realized we had TWO ubers! And to top that off I don't think we had but 3 toons with 100+ laff. YIKES!!
Of course in true Disney style the system put both ubers on the same side in skele's and, I'm sad to say, we did lose them before the pie round. I'm not sure what happened since I was on the other side in skeles.

We had:

Princess Lollipop - 56 - CC 1 < - - - FIRST VP WIN
+ Mac McMonkey - 59 - CC 1 < - - - FIRST VP WIN
Princess Penny - 62 - CC 2
Edmund - 22 - HW 12 (uber - sad in skeles)
+ Wilbur - 32 - HW 23 (uber - sad in skeles)
+ Little E - 117 - HW 34
+ Dizzy Duck - 116 - HW 42
miss olivia - 124 - HW 50

+ together in cog round

(Little E will have to provide me the missing laff points for the other toons) Okay she did!!!

As for someone keeping her from going sad, that is the TEAM in teamwork.

I will click ubers and small toons as opportunity permits to status their laff during runs. At one time she was down to 7 and I proceeded with force feeding her pie. BUT! I was not alone; I believe it was Princess Penny there with me at that specific time. And as best I can recall, everyone took the opportunity to throw pie her way at one time or another.

Let me also say, she was not the only toon being fed pie in that run. My toon ate her fair share (generously provided by one or more of the other toons). I think the only toons who did not NEED to be pied were the three 100+ toons.

We did lose the two ubers, but when you consider the average laff of the toons on this run we did pretty good, thanks to the teamwork, not only in keeping as many alive as possible, but in the overall battle as well.

Let me tell you, for her first run, this one was a doozie, hard fought and well earned!! Tell her I said she ROCKS!

Indeed that is a screen shot of her dancing. When her father, who also plays, brings her back to town I am going to have to show her that.

I had just got done with a VP run while you all were fighting the skelecogs. So we were watching her laugh points very close. We saw her drop to 7 and thought she would be going sad, until we saw her being fed pies at an incredible rate.

She has not read the strat guide yet on the VP. I honestly did not expect her to try the run for another week or so, so I had not shown her it yet.

Having made a couple of runs with you and Little E I know she was in good hands. Also I know that the CCG takes a lot of pride in getting new toons and ubers through.

Anytime!!

I love to help new suits get their first victory. And Loki and I do tend to select certain toons to keep on radar. We are normally on the phone together while we play. So, we will take the two lowest laff's and I will click on one & she the other. We then make sure that they do not go sad if at all possible. I also try to click on all the toons every now and then to make sure no one else is taking major hits. I am so glad that she danced on her first VP. Tell her next time she's in the pits she can try and load with me, and I'll keep her safe. But, let her know that I do not shuffle, so if she can't get on, then the other members of the guild will happily take care of her also.

I explained to her about the shuffle. That was how we got separated. Four of us were trying to get on the same elevator and when three of us made it she got left behind.

Since the rest of us were fighting the VP I did not know she tried it on her own until we were done. I must say she is extremely aggressive in how she games. It seems to run in the family

I am sure she will be doing this again. I am not sure if she understands merits yet, but I will show her that ASAP as well.
