Anyone else ever get one of these??

I woke up this morning and did my usual e-mail check before going in TT to plant my flowers and this is what I recieved. Just wondering if anyone else has recieved one of these? The funny thing about it is I was hardly on yesterday because my internet service wasn't working that great. I did a few buildings, one vp run and a few factories. I don't recall doing anything out of the ordinary and of course, Disney has yet to respond to my questions.

Dear Toontown Guest,

You are receiving this email because of a violation of the Walt Disney Internet Group's (WDIG) Terms of Use. Please take a moment to review our Terms of Use and House Rules: http://disney.go.com/corporate/legal/terms.html

Please be advised that this e-mail serves as an official warning and that further violations of the WDIG Terms of Use may result in account suspension or termination.

Thank you,

The Disney Online Team

If anyone's gotten one, do they ever fill you in on what you supposidly did wrong?

There are a bunch of threads about suspensions right now. A few people have admitted to using "bad words" but in other cases it was something to do with DXD.

In one of the threads, there is a link to who you need to call or email to find out about it.

From one of the threads I glanced at, it looks like they are being more stringent with certain words used.

Good luck, hope you manage to get an answer.

I checked my email and got one too.
I replied requesting proof of what I have supposedly done, but if the hackers out there aren't happy with me reporting them and they're sending false reports on me... have fun is all I gotta say.
Also, I was telling some friends yesterday where my daughter and her father are going in June... and Hawaii was continuously being censored.
I wonder if me saying it about 4 times was the cause of this?
I don't cuss, not even in whisper.
I couldn't hack for the life of me.
The account tho, is under my daughter's birthdate and unfortunately they don't think they can change it to mine.
The woman I spoke to in billing said to e-mail community@disneyonline.com and ask them what I've done wrong and also try live support and even try sending in a bug report to see what I may have done to warrant this e-mail.

It's never been made clear how long the supposed infraction of their rules happened and the time they send the email. Judging by how "quickly" Disney responds to emails I would guess it's a few days if not a week or more.
If it were me, I would continue to contact Disney until they cough up a real response to your questions.
I addressed my concerns about DXD in an email to Disney and at first received the standard canned response but after replying to that again I actually received an email addressing each one of my numbered concerns and after replying to that one received yet another response from the same person along with her title. So there is help available if you pursue it.

I almost think this has to do with the account being put under my daughter's birthdate.
I have never been flagged before for telling a friend where I'm moving to or anything.
They sent back a short transcript from yesterday and even tho 99% wasn't bad, they didn't like it.

Just wanted to add I'm a horrible potty mouth and no matter how hard I try to curb it some slip by my fingers. I just checked my email and I have no such email from Disney so, I'm thinking that it has nothing to do with cussing.

Good luck finding out what exactly it was you were supposed to have done!

I almost wonder since these new hacks are out, that maybe more devs or mods are on Toontown these days.
Not only are they looking for hackers, but they're also checking sf chat.
One of the things they showed me was a whisper to a sf.
I was attempting to give them my yahoo ID, but instead of just giving the first part, I spelled the entire thing out.
Example: shrinkydink at yahoo dot com <--- red flag for Disney
Example: shrinkydink <--- I haven't tried that yet, and right now, I'm not about to.
They don't detect when you ask someone which messenger, because that wasn't highlighted in the things they feel are no no's.

I also told a friend that I was moving back to my home state. That was a red flag.

Is there something in the rules that says we cannot give our email addy's or state? And that by-passing their filters is a no-no?
That's always one of my first questions when I meet someone, what state are you from. I don't want to know more than that but I'm always curious to see how far and wide we come from.

Since I'm an adult, I'll give out a little more of the information in the email.

On the steps I was talking to 2 other adult sf's and I was telling them that my daughter and ex husband were going to Hawaii.
The exact sentence was: Joe and Mary are going to Hawaii.
Another sentence was: I'm moving back to Cali.
The sf whisper was giving someone my Yahoo ID so I could send some CJ pictures to him.
The 2nd sf whisper was with a . infront so it'd stay long enough for him to write it down. I spelled everything out.
The last sentence... well it was a joke... but personal about myself.

What harm were the first 2 sentences that I was sharing with people I've known, close to 4 years?

If someone asks where I live, I tell them.
If someone asks my real name, I tell them that too.
If someone asks me how old I am, I tell them.
None of those were censored, unless last night the "community" decided to start cracking down... however... the whisper to my SF was during the actual cog battle in the CJ.

Pix, perhaps it's because the account is listed under your daughter's DOB.

It definitely seems they have become much stricter with the filters. Maybe since this DXD connection they expect more traffic to TT and decided to go on a serious chat monitoring campaign.

But this is getting way out of hand. They are by-passing the parent's responsibility to keep track of what their children are doing. It's my responsibility as a parent to decide if I want my son to sf in the game or have just regular friends. It's also my responsibility to make sure he is behaving appropriately by monitoring his on-line time. This is not Disney's job. They completed their responsibility, in my opinion, when they gave us the option of allowing sf's or not and by setting into place filters to prevent certain language being shared. I appreciate those filters because I've been on other games and other fansites where the language is just so outrageously obscene the point of the posts gets lost.
I understand there are child predators on-line but again, it's my responsibility to make sure my son does not place himself in a position of being abused.

We need an address for Disney to address these concerns. Perhaps they think they are being helpful with these new guidelines that only they know about.
We should be able to carry on a normal conversation with our friends. Even the player's guide says sf codes are to be given to your real life friends. Well what constitutes "real life friend" to them may be a bit different from someone actively enjoying friends in this game.

And with all things, the more strict they become, the better adept we become at going around them.

I'd like to know why they are censoring "Pizza" or "al dente"

What the crud is wrong with those words?!?!
My two cents and this may get me banned, but... nevermind they wouldn't listen anyway.

Now when chatting with a friend, I have my second toon watching so I know if the person I'm talking to sees what I'm saying. Good grief.

I think it is important to be careful what you say in public, but when they have made it so ONLY your SF's can see what your typing why are they being sooooo annoying?!?!?

I read some of their guidelines when I first started playing and they said "We do NOT moniter SF chatting" what hogwash.
