VP Elevator Shuffle

Don't understand what was happening today at the noon pst VP. For the first time with CCG I got left on an elevator with 3 other toons. Two bailed as soon as the doors closed. I was right behind them. I frantically tried to get back on before the porch cleared. I was lucky. My friend came out so I could TP. Thanks Silly Slippy.

When we went in, there were still a lot of suits by the ele. We went up on the platform and were looking at four toons in the ele all by themselves, with a lot of others just looking at them. It was only after we got on and two other jumped on behind us, that I realized we were with Sad Lisa, and Maroon Cat (34/CC). I hope that those other suits weren't holding back because of them. If so, they missed a great time, and we all danced.

Never saw the shuffle so bad at CCG runs before. Sorry, I didn't get names or screenshots of the load that bailed. Can only believe they weren't CCG.

I watched some shuffling and loaded up hoping to pack the 'vator and we ended up with four of us going up. One bailed right as the doors closed and yes, I bailed after that. There were so many people STILL in the lobby that there was no reason for four of us to go up alone. I logged back in and made it back to the VP lobby to find loading still going on, and ended up on a full load.

Not sure what the problem was with the first load - havent had a chance to look at my screenshots yet to see what was going on.

I thought the shuffle was awful and I came in a good minute after run time. I hopped on the elevator with Pup and stayed put hoping others would pack on. Well they did, but Pup ended up sad and losing her level 7's when her load ditched her without letting her know their intentions. I see six of us coming off the elevator (we had a HW hop off as the doors closed...ouch!) and then this:

We had a full load, so I have no idea why everyone left like that. I assume they looked at suit levels (all small) and left. Pup may only be a Name Dropper, but I have a HW50 toon and can stun great from a distance. It would have been worth a try anyway! PLEASE let everyone on your load know if you plan to ALT out. Say "Let's go back to the playground" or "Shall we go?" or even "Run!". I saw a lot of sf chat, but that didn't tell me anything. For all I knew they were talking about how easy it was going to be!

I was really upset about all this when I had a friend whisper to me that after she got out of he VP she'd help on a revenge. A few minutes later another friend of mine offered to help out and brought a friend of his (who I got a code for and made a new friend!). These two were going to CFO, but instead took the time to help me (and a few other unlucky toons) out. At this point I was in tears from happiness. This is the true CCG spirit and it's what keeps me coming back for more. Pup will pack on the elevator again on her next VP with no hesitation. Sure, level 7 gags may be lost, but friends like this last forever!

I know, I was on my low laff toon a cc suite there was alot of shuffling!!!!
Our group went up with only 7!!! There were plenty of ppl there. I think most off the ppl wanted to go with their friends which is not right. I'm just chalking it up to randoms and ppl who don't know the ccg rules. So please, if you don't know the rules READ THEM!!!But I would like to thank the other 6 toons who stayed on the elevator and got that Flippy sos with me!! I can't recall all the names of the toons but GREAT TEAMWORK all of ya!!!

The shuffler happened to be SFs with my daughter and she told him to STOP. He said he was trying to board with friends. After she said this is the CCG and we don't do that he looged off. I don't think he is a member, but TP'd to one.

Looks like I was luckier than some. I did get a run with a full load, and it was one of the most fun ones I've had. What do they say about silver linings??

QVH - that stinks! Glad to hear you got a revenge run in though.

From looking at my screenies, I must have made record time in getting back to the lobby as I see a lot of the same names still in there when I took screenies of the full load I ended up on. I saw Sad Lisa and Maroon Cat still in the lobby so my short load must have been before that load.

Let's pack those loads people!

I will admit that I have not been on a VP run in a long, long time. (test does not count)

BUt I suspected with MLK this weekend that there would be much madness at these runs.

Then, you throw in the weather and everyone is ready to be online and do stuff. IF!! they have electricity. All those in Oklahoma, western nebraska, Kansas, and Missouri are getting pounded by this ice storm.

We canceled all events today as I when I went and tested my .35 mile hill and I slid a ways, in my running shoes. I told everyone that we are NOT traveling anywhere today.

My ICE day looks like it will be tomorrow.

Right now it is SLEETING. Not a good sign going into the colder night time.

Oh yeah? I think the CCG needs more mods becasue I was on my ½ noob ½ uber toon (megaphone, Whole cream pie, Seltzer, and 27 laff) and many ppl, dare I say, about 4, said like "I think this is too risky for you." "No doubt about it." "Please go away!" I said to them "Stop that!" cuz that's against CCG guidelines. I ALWAYS survive the first round of the vp, but since too many ppl bail after that, I ALWAYS die at the skelelcog battle. Oh and here's a pic of TODAY'S battle... And if you didn't know, Trixie, did you c a black cat whose name was Master Brandon? Becuz that was me. ☺ I'm just guessing but, were u:

1. A black cat?
2. A 24 laffer
3. Who had megaphone, whole cream pie, and seltzer?

And I told him,"If you have friends go in an empty district and get on there!"

ten seconds later he got on and Alt F4'ed out of the VP!

Don't worry too much about it, but thanks. Here's the funny thing, I just stay positive, although I'm really sick of CCG shuffle. Like today, when I DIED AT THE SKELECOG BATTLE, when i died, "Vote Goat - and that's all she wrote!" "Yee-Hah!" "Toontastic!" ":-)" and when good ppl started to say sorry, I said "No problem." "Good Luck!" because well, I personally thought they needed it because it was just them 2, but they WERE high laffers.

Well I thought it was gonna be just Vp, but it carried over to CFO.... I was on my husbands toon and just got on the elevator and the shuffling started again!!! O well what can I do...

I'm suprised it carried over to the CFO!Do you think we should switch districts ONCE again?Because all the districts we have are JUMP districts?

The best solution for shuffle is to pack on and fill the elevator.

The problem I saw today was people standing infront, blocking the view and not packing on...waiting for the next load to go with friends who they were sf chatting with.

The correct place for that is on the stairs or the lower floor area not in front of the elevator doors blocking the view of the timer for those on board. The toons on the elevator can't even see if they need another person or if they have a full load.

I saw mods and ambassadors....just might not have been using their user-name toons. I'm sure screen shots were taken of those who jumped off. If you were able to catch a screen shot of jumpers...pm it to an ambassador. They will do the follow up to maintain the high standards that our members have pledged to follow.

Its because of our friends... If ur gonna bring them, tell them:

***NO GETTING OFF***, unless there's not enough people.

***NO SAYING MEAN PHRASES***, (e.g. "I think this is too risky for you.")

***NO BAILING AFTER THE COGS***, (whether it is after the first round or the second; bail if ur about to die and nobody will tune you up.)

If they don't follow the rules stop being their friend.
