Big Toons tickle my ubers

Mad Eyed Toony and Big Cheezybearger have been running the full factory for getting merits for BC. While we wait for the other toon to get gags, either of them are told 'I think this is TOO risky for you', and we have run the factory as a duet over 6 times today alone, getting 776 merits during an invasion run. We have TU, Lure and throw/squirt. The factory has NOT been a PROBLEM for us period. It's a cinch to run. LOL

We just say 'Yes' and 'Have Fun' and off we go without them. I think it is SOOOOOoooooo funny to think some toons can't gather that good playing and luck get ubers through an awful of battles. We haven't gone sad yet in the factory but we do use the lava and paint room gagups a lot.

The most fun I've had in a factory was when I was See Green and the only other toon around was Hap Hazard. We were both 25 laff sound ubers, neither of us had maxed gags although See Green was pretty close. I think at that time Hap was still at level 5. This was before level 7s anyway LOL. We weren't even friends but yet the 2 of us went into the factory alone and killed every single cog. Woot!

For the first time in Miss T. Fied's life, Tuesday she was riskied AFTER seeing the suit and/or gags. Back when I was running factory on her, people would risky her and after I said, "I have enough gags" they would look and usually work with me. If they still didn't get it, I would ask them to follow me into the vp lobby where they could see my suit. Never did anyone walk in with a bigger suit than Missy.

Tuesday, after boarding in Nutty River with what looked like a good mix of toons, the highest laff toon of all (a HW34) gave me grief during the pie fight! Whispered over and over to me, "Please go away! I think this is too risky for you! You stink!" while I was close back stunning. The one I didn't get was when she whispered (more than once), "Let's go on the trolley! You did it!" Is that supposed to be a joke that I need to trolley for beans? Please.

It has been quite entertaining running Nutty River for invasion gag exp points in 5 story buildings. Not many toons even come near 34ish laffers. I've only gone sad ONCE in a building to a miss lure.

When I play mini me I love when they whisper that to me I just whisper back Oh well. Then I get the famous please go away! I usually respond with my maybe some other time and run on the elevator. Its especially funny when its a 45 or so laffer and my gags are better than its own. They just wish they could be like us...LOL

Haha, tell me about it!

When Marsh was a 27 laffer, I had to do her first two sets of 5500 in DDL builds only, because I lagged too badly to do a factory (the doors wouldn't open for me, and I'd get stuck behind them). This was a long time ago, obviously, but I'm sure the toons' reactions were similar, hehe.

Some toons are just ignorant.

Purrloined varies depending on mood.

Sometimes he has made friends with toons that initially stunk him by replying "I have enough gags" "feelin Lucky" "Don't chicken out" but who were then tempted to have a go .

Sometimes he will just agree "me too", like Noisy

When he is in not such a good mood he will say "I vote no" "You make me laugh" .

Only once was he mad enuff with a griefin stinky toon in the River VP lobby whose Mover n Shaker was stinkin n griefin his Mingler suit , that he changed into McHaggis (who took great delight in advising said toon it was too risky for him) :blushing8 n then took a whole vater of ccs n tms to the exclusion of the stinky MS! who was left very confused and annoyed!

I have to say that Purr gets way more friend requests than stinks lately. He gets more requests than McHaggis does at 121 laff by at least 4:1............. go figure

N thats when 5500 merits was 5500 merits!!

Its so easy to forget just what a grind it was to run those down.. hours spent huntin 5 sells in various districts only to get them stolen! Lukky to get one or two invasions a day!

Heck we got it easy now!

My toon rarely gets stinkied. The only time is usually the cold callers who need the hollys to carry them through in NR. The high laff toons usually welcome Mo Mo as a challenge and say You Rock and stuff like that. It's the pesky -70 laffs with worse gags than me who think I will bring them down with me.

Pup has never actually been stunk, but she has been ditched on her share of elevators. The fun part is coming out of the building and seeing the toons still out there waiting for her to die in there. Pup also likes to blurt out "I think this is too risky for you" as she gets on an elevator, so maybe that's what scares everyone off, lol

The closest thing I get to actual greif is in the factory where I get a lot of people telling me I should choose sound. Usually it's done to be funny, but sometimes you can tell they are being quite serious. Factories can be also scary with randoms when you don't have sound because many toons working sound refuse to use anything else...even if their sound doesn't kill the cogs. I don't mind that even as long as they toon me up, but I have had a couple hairy runs where I had to rely on my very unreliable doodle to get me through. I usually try to get one of my kids to go with me in the factory on their toons or go in with friends so I can avoid randoms, but sometimes I am in the mood for a challange and hop on with whoever happens to be there.

I actually get stunk quite a lot. Probably due to my habit of running in circles outside the elevator shouting, "Whee!" Another common one is when I do manage to dash on with randoms at the last second, "This isn't what you need." Then we get to the end to find I need a googleplex of merits and they need, oh... 40. I take great delight in then informing them, "This isn't what you need."

What I hate is them passing the entire first set of cogs and then ditching. I can't just run back in because by that point I've used 4 of my 35 gags and if I go with just one other person, chances are I'll need the full bag so it's back to DG for me.

No kidding! This really happened...I picked sound, watched sound animation advance, but ended up with toon up somehow. Disney said there was no way to give me sound, so I was stuck with tu. Now I am kind of glad, though, because I can solo buildings in the morning before most of my friends are on. When I get into the bigger suits it might be more fun, but hopefully I will have some friends still in the factory by then.
