CCG: High Level BW Training Run
Friday, January 12th, 8pm Central 9pm Eastern, 6pm Pacific Many of the bigger Big Wigs have rarely or never experienced all that Disney has to offer in the area of CJ difficulty. This “training run” is for our bigger suits to experience a more difficult CJ. They will learn strategies about where to stand, etc, when dealing with up to 10 lawyers, 8 gavels, and minimum amount of evidence. Unfortunately, Disney has made it impossible to experience the most difficult aspects of this particular boss battle unless you have a high suit, so this training run will be limited to Big Wigs only. Any level of Big Wig is invited to attend. If you are interested in attending this specialized training run, please respond to this post with your toon name and suit level. If you have experience in dealing with the additional lawyer(s) please note that in your post so we can spread the experience around. Because of the level of difficulty anticipated, there will be no loads with less than 7 toons. Participants will be pm’d the run district on the day of the run. Please refer to the following specific strategies for dealing with the additional variables that will be present in the training run. It is not required to be a CCG member to participate but CCG Guidelines will be observed. Participation is on a first come/first served basis. Please make sure you have your notices completed prior to the run. A note on laff levels/tooning/uniting For this particular run, it was suggested we “partner up” with toons to check laff levels since it’s sometimes hard to find that “I need a toon-up” phrase. Partners will be assigned when teams are formed, so you don’t have to worry about remembering who you stood next to. If you have a specific laff comfort level, you will also have the opportunity to pm your partner beforehand and let them know that level. If your partner appears to be getting low, please go throw a few evidence at them to bring them up. Your evidence will weigh much more than 1, so it is possible you need only throw a few evidence for it to make a difference. It is everyone’s responsibility to maintain their own laff! If you are getting low in laff, you need to say, “I need more laff points,” “I need a toon-up,” “Let’s use toon-up,” or something to that effect. Even a simple, “Ouch!” so your partner can come throw some evidence at you. In the event of several low in laff, the key speedchat phrase to indicate you are going to unite should be, “Meet here,” found at the very bottom of the Places menu. If you see someone say, “Meet here” and you need laff, the toon up location will be at the scale. If you are a scaler, continue scaling if possible. If you are out of evidence, wait to refill until the unite has been thrown. To avoid confusion, the person that says, “Meet here” should be the one to unite. Please make sure you have already read the CJ Strategy Guide prior to attending this specialized run. This additional information will deal specifically with the additional cog(s) and gavels. Position selections: Please refer to the attached "overhead view" of the courtroom. Immediately following Jury Selection, you are placed into the courtroom by the scale, as normal. In the 9 or 10 cog difficulty, you will add a phrase to your Chief Justice menu that states, "I have a bonus weight of ____." or "I don't have any bonus weight." Regardless of whether you prefer to stun or scale, those with the highest evidence bonus should scale, while the rest should stun cogs. Stunning: To ensure the highest likelihood of stun bonuses, we will use the "Stun Rotation," where as soon as one stunner goes to fill up evidence, the additional stunner will take over those cogs. The person returning from filling evidence will take over for the next person needing evidence, and so on. This is only possible with a full elevator and with 8 or 9 cog lawyers. 9/10 Cog Difficulty Scenario A In 9 cog difficulty, an additional stunner will be needed over next to the cog by himself (indicated by 9 on the map). Please note that this person *could* also throw evidence at the scale but is NOT required to do so. Should you find yourself with the 10th cog, please make sure there is also an additional stunner available for this cog. If you are covering the 9th or 10th cog lawyer, it is *possible* to throw evidence at the pan. Be warned that the person on the 9th cog has the most gavels to run past, so if you are uncomfortable throwing at the pan, thereby having to restock evidence more often, then do not feel you need to throw at the pan. There is also a gavel that comes down right next to the cog, so finding a location to be able to see the cog as well as the scale can be difficult. The stunner on the 10th cog should have little problem refilling evidence if they throw at the pan. 9/10 Cog Difficulty Scenario B It is possible to position yourself in such a way on the 1st and 8th cogs so that you can hit the 9th and 10th cogs with your evidence. The proper way to position yourself is in the immediate center of the 1/2 or 7/8 cogs, a few steps back, facing the 9th or 10th cog. Then throw your evidence at the cogs in the following order: 1, 10, 2 or 7, 9, 8. Scaling: Note: When evidence knocks you down, you are always knocked down facing the CJ but thrown back away from him! Make sure you position yourself in such a manner that if you are knocked down, you don’t fall into the path of a gavel. Refer again to the diagram. When you first land in the courtroom and the scale is at its’ highest point, it is difficult to find a location that is suitable for throwing evidence without getting pounded by gavels. Personally, I have found the best starting location for throwing at the scale is indicated on the map as A. However, I have seen some people that choose to begin throwing from the locations indicated as B1 or B2. Regardless of which you prefer, find a spot that keeps you clear of any gavels should you be knocked down by lawyer evidence. The following information provided by Good ol’ Murky Paddlefink is a further explanation of map location B1. Quote:

Hopefully, this BW Training Run will be less stressful for me. Last time, we basically wrote the strategy guide all the way up until the run and I was constantly making changes to it. This time, the strategy is written, so all I have to do is plug in the names, make sure everyone gets pm'ed, assign load leaders. If this particular run is easier to organize, I may make this a monthly training, to keep the strategy fresh in people's minds. I do have to say that I prefer these more difficult CJs. It is really the only thing that has caused me to grow 2 more toons in law. Previous to experiencing one of these higher level CJs, I had absolutely no interest in advancing McZilla and Little Dizzy.

I have only been to 10 cog CJ's when going to a friends max but I'm highly experienced. I need to learn how to stun the 9th and 10th cog though, I never had the chance. Put me down as Big Wig level 8
