So much for no elevator shuffling

I was at the 8:45 VP run in Funnyfield. At 8:45 people started loading the elevator and I joined in. Everyone jumped off except me and one other toon. Needless to say, it was not a success. I fought the VP yesterday and had no problems whatsoever, but for some reason this was not a good night.

Not everyone that comes to a CCG run are true CCG members.
There are alot of randoms that don't understand about the No Shuffling.

Best thing to do is... wait for the second load if you see people shuffling on the first one.
Some CCG members will board the first load if they see shuffling in the hopes that other people will board and stay on.

If you can, write down names and double check the names against the members list and if they are members, you can pm them in here and ask what was going on, or pm an ambassador of the CCG.

Boingyboro was green today, and there was definitely a small suit shuffle happening at the CJ lobby.

I have another question, as part of the CCG are we not EVER supposed to exit the elevator after getting on? I mean, if people start loading and then some of them ditch you, are you still supposed to stay on, even if it means there are only 3 or 4 toons? I was trying to stay on, hoping others would get on and trying to avoid the elevator shuffle, but that left me fighting alone.

5 or less, you can leave the elevator.
If you find yourself stuck on the elevator and ppl are disappearing, press the alt + F4 key and you'll log out of Toontown.

The guideline says 5 or less...though with CJ it may need to be different. I have won a 5 man CJ but I wouldn't have blamed anyone for not wanting to try.

Well I aggrea but then I don't...we can't always garrentee that 'random' toons aren't gonna hop on the elavator...We can't keep them from coming in a district and see lots of toons going to VP..
But as CCG members we ourselves,we can show that we will not hop off the elevator.
When I was a smaller toon and din't know much about Toontown I remember the bigger toons telling me I was to small to VP and I also remember toons hopping on and off.And I'm sure they still do it,they probally will think we're gonna hop off.So don't worry,I'm sure some random toons saw you going in and they wanted to go to!

Well, for me at least, shuffle seems to have been a bit worse. I'm thinking it might have just been over holiday break when there were a lot more randoms amongst us. I wouldn't worry too much about the shuffle tonight, it's bound to get better.

I was there for the shuffle. The same has been happening a couple of other times. Indeed, it was the small suite shuffle tonight, lol.

Funnyfield was green today probably because it was used as a launch district. I was thrown there twice upon logging in today. This always increases the chances of randoms who don't know the CCG guidelines being present in the lobby.

Alt-F4 while you are still in the elevator to keep your laff and gags when there are fewer than 5 and you are uncomfortable with that.

Please don't be discouraged. The CCG is an awesome group; one or two shuffles out of bunches of loads are awesome odds! Try again please, and hold back for the third or fourth load.

i threw myself on an elevator at the 18.45 CST run yesterday because there were random toons shuffling, we left with a full load because people packed on.

exactly - and after a while you'll probably come to recognise some of the maxxed HW50 ... pretty much any two of those of the regular attendees could handle the pie fight between them ... with a smaller toon or two for the cog and skeles round even a 3 or 4 or 5 VP can seem pretty easy. Often they will say "stay" if they are confident.

What can happen is that a couple of smaller suits with inexperienced players will AltF4 out of the elevator... but then the ironic thing is the card they miss out on always seems to be a great one LOL

I just try to remember while on the elevator; They hop off, they aren't ready. They don't believe in themselves/their abilities to do well. Though, I would never try a 1 man for anything with the right SOS and phrases... Though with the CFO I have been coming out alone lately XD
