To the CCG

Due to a particular thread, I have come to the realization that I must take a break joining the CCG runs.

I used to know what I could count on in any boss battle, but now I can't.

I haven't had the pleasure of being on any run with you that I'm aware of. I know I've come to you to say hi when you were on Tree Climber in the pit waiting for the VP runs here and there. And I saw you that one time waiting to board the DA.

I really wish you wouldn't go. You're so reknowned. Everyone talks about Tree Climber, and Pix. You're a great toon, and a great person. It's a sad day when the CCG start losing some of their members here and there.

I am sure that toons/people that have played with you feel the same. DON'T GO!!!

Don't go. Just give up the VP. CFO and CJ are not part of this thread, maybe because the ubers are not in the CFO, and nothing will change in these boss battles.

Give the VP a break and come join us at the CFO and CJ.

I can only speak for myself but I really hope you don't give up on the CCG. I think I may have only been on 1 run with Pixanator before but I have seen you (in various toon form) around since the days I started going on CCG runs. I know that for myself I am going to continue to participate in the CCG runs exactly the same way I always have. I would like to believe that most everyone else is feeling the same way. I feel the core principle in most everyone's mind is TEAMWORK. The CCG is a group of wonderful people that I feel extremely lucky to have the pleasure of participating in runs with. I would hate to lose that. It is very rare to go on a random run & get the same feeling of belonging.

I respect your decision and encourage you to pursue what you feel in your heart is right. I am going to ask you to reflect a little upon the many people who attend the scheduled runs who have not read that thread; who are not routine posters and participants in these debates; who are going to have a potentially poor experience with the CCG if attendance in general drops. In addition to these folks consider the newer members that benefit from veteran experience and leadership who have no role in the current goings on.
Surely we aren’t all in accord. Definitely we are debating people not discussing ideas. Absolutely we all don’t enjoy each others company. But, we are all members of a guild that is dedicated to allowing everyone an opportunity to experience boss battles. Turmoil here is nothing new. In fact it seems to happen around this time on a yearly basis. Doesn’t it make more sense during these times to band together and populate the runs more than ever?

I'm sorry to hear that Pix. Well, if you think that's the right thing to do then go ahead and do it! I'm sure we all here respect your decision and are going to miss you. I have not seen you in the CCG runs(well I probably have but I never knew any of your other toons other than Pix) but I have been with you on some SOS Shopping Runs. You are a great toon and if you want to quit the CCG it's all up to you. Follow what your heart tell you!

Due to such a large group with so much diversity, we will never all get along. We will always have stress and drama from time to time. Usually it can be handled privately. Sometimes it leaks over to the public forums. It isn’t pretty. It isn’t ideal. I personally feel like almost everyone here is a friend. We see each other constantly. We take time to say hi - to kid around. I’ve had a couple shots in the past directed at me from people I highly respect. But, I won’t let a few harsh words turn me away from possibly the best group of people I have known. As long as I feel I can contribute – I’ll be here. If the people who care keep going away- who will be hurt? And who will be left to defend what the guild stands for? You are a good person and great team player. You have made mistakes and learned from them – just as each of us has done. I have enjoyed playing with you. Do what’s best for you, but I hope you’ll choose to stay.

From overall response to that thread I don't see why in the world you don't know what to expect from any boss battle with CCG. No guideline has been changed and from what I gather it won't be. I believe most of us have been in ccg boss battles where your team strategy varies from LLDR... and previously this didn't give you reason to give up on us (sorry I had to change that to destroy- killing not the right word to use in a childrens' game- suggested by my son). Yet here you're saying you need to get away because you're afraid of what might happen in the future? We really don't know what to expect now if we load regardless of laff, suit, gags- don't know what kind of strategy may be needed and played ahead of time. Adapt.

Give yourself a few days away if you honestly feel the need to do so.. but don't make a hasty departure because of disagreeing with a few people in the guild. This idea was bought up for discussion- your opinion on it differs from a few (the minority of those posting to the thread) but that's why we discuss proposals like this... so we can figure out what is in the best interest of all regardless of differing opinions. I'd hate to see someone who's played with us through thick and thin, been an integral part of CCG go away just because an issue you feel strongly about was discussed. I hope you change your mind and stick with the CCG. You won't find a closer group of toons that truly care about you. You are awesome

I'm not leaving the CCG, I just needed a little break and that's what I got from being absent yesterday and today.

The CCG is my stability.
Randoms are the bumps in a road.

I am however, leaving this Saturday to spend Thanksgiving with family and probably won't be back until the 26th. (if that's ok with Kit T. Kat)

My life as a toon for 2 days, by me.

Yesterday, I worked merits and bucks, did a vp and cfo.... yes with randoms... it scared me!
Today, I got bucks done.
The doorbell rang.
I answered the door.
It was a migraine.
It hasn't left yet.
I hope to feel better tomorrow so I can come back to the CCG and terrorize ALL OF YOU!

To those that made me feel that my presence wouldnt devastate the CCG, thank you.
Not often, do we feel that we make a difference in other ppl's lives.
Sometimes the holidays can bring out those really sad and mad feelings when you have your eyes closed for a moment.
Sometimes we over react to things we know we shouldn't, but the little evils get to us, and we lose our composure.
This is what happened to me and because of you evil little ppl who have made me laff and touched my heart, my little break is over.
