Unexplained Crashes

hi guys, i thought i'd pick the CCG collective brains, as i know we have some techies amongst us...

i've been experiencing alot of toontown crashes on one of my (*Home) systems recently, and it just happened again in the VP

its the same spec as my normal toontown standby system, which i use daily up at university and has less programs installed.

it just randomly quits toontown on me, (Microsoft Windows Error) and sometimes it just dumps all its memory and restarts,

it isnt a virus or anything, as i've made sure its clean, and it gets reformatted every 6 months. and has the latest security and windows updates.

anyone know what it could be? i'm tempted to say corrupt memory, but i'm not too sure.

what i do know however is its blooming annoying getting to the top of the silo, or into the skele round at the VP and getting the dreaded error message... or the computer crashing

(*Home is technically not home as i dont live there for most of the year, and only come back to get the parents to do washing and such like.... typical student)

I get the windows message here and there....I just thought it was a toontown error. I don't get it THAT often.

My Mood:
Have you tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling Toontown? If not, this would definitely be worth a try because the program itself could be corrupt (especially possible with all the recent updates). Be sure to restart your computer before reinstalling and clean it as well (run disk cleaner and check if it needs defragged). Do you have spyware blockers and/or removers on your computer? Sometimes spyware can interfere with programs you have running.

But when you take him in a car, he sticks his head out the window!~

My friend had probs since the level 7 gags update.

She finally found in help section about an active x setting.

That's all I can tell you. It might be from that.

i've swapped my memory into one of the spare slots, and intend to clean it and it seems to be working fine now.
