its a glitch that happens
there is also a glitch where sometimes if a toon goes sad then you will gain laff, like if your down 30 laff and a toon dies you could be down 15 laff or at full laff its been a glitch since cash hq came out many people have sent in bug reports but the best way not to encounter the glitch is not to let or have people go sad, but sometimes there are things you cant control and some one goes sad to me is like toon town is saying You failed to keep them alive, or Hey im taking you with me |

HeeHee, yes its your video card. No, of course it isnt. That happens to me occasionally. Used to happen to me a lot in VPs if I was on the far left and the toon next to me died, I would die too. I had it in a building the other day. My friend died and I couldnt go on without him, so I died too (I guess). I was never hit.

the same thing happened to 1 of my little toons a few months ago, they hit the other toon, but my toon went sad right after the other sank into the floor.
Disney ALWAYS blames our pc's for any game trouble rather than placing the blame on themselves (the rightful place for 97% of our game issues) It's just easier to say, "it's your pc" instead of admitting they have faulty servers.

Loosing laff
Happened to Sir Christopher today. Toon next to him got hit, went sad
, and left. Sir C. still had 5 laff left and was standing. Just as Sir Christopher's gag screen opened, he went to the PG. Lost all his gags.

Yes, it's a programming bug. It used to happen to me all of the time (like every few bldgs), I reported it, TT said that they knew about it and would fix it, it got fixed for a few months, but it's started happening again.
I've come to terms with the fact that it's not TOONS against THE COGS, but TOONS against THE PROGRAM (which was financed by COGS in the first place). Never let anyone go Sad and you stand a chance. This holds true for the whole game; it's all about keeping EVERYONE alive - yes, even the Griefers (well, most of the time anyway)

Ive had that happen to me too, first time was when I was only 44 laff and had the 'defeat factory foreman' task, we got all the was to the foreman and I had like 15 laff point left, the toon next to me went sad and next thing I know im travelling back to sellbot HQ playground, I figured it was because I probably wouldve gone sad next anyway

I believe it happens when the toon next to you gets hit for more laff points than they have. For example, if a 15 laff toon gets hit for -24, they will lose 16, sending them back to the pg. The toon next to them will absorb the remaining -8, which could send them back as well. If those cogs can't take it all off the toon they are aiming for, they take it off the next toon. I wish when we overkilled a cog it caused damage on the neighboring cog as well

I've seen that once or twice... even when I got hit for less than my full laugh, and went sad... had 25, got hit for 21, and all of a sudden, I'm looking at my feet....
Best thing to do is keep a 100+ bunny around for protection...

It happened to me in my very first VP fight during the skelecog round. I freaked out! I got a response back to my bug report that was a little more than the usual canned reply where I was advised to close down some of the other programs I had running while I was in TT, as if that had anything to do with it.
Since then, I've lost laff points two or three times during battles, always at the VP. In one respect I'm glad to head that this problem isn't unique to my toon, but it's disappointing to hear that TT has known about it for a while and hasn't corrected it. |
