CFO Training Run
Special Event: CFO Training Run
Date: Saturday, September 16 Time: 6:00 pm Central District: Sent via PM to those who sign up This is open to everybody who signs up, not exclusively to CCG members. It's not the type of run that is open to bringing friends who happen to come on line. After signing up, teams will be formed with team leaders. Only those on the teams may attend the run. We do not expect to win, we expect to let people practice the crane without the stress of attempting to hurry or to "let the experts" do it. It's ok to practice stomping techniques, removing safes (that you intentionally put on him) or getting the crane to stop swinging wildly all over the place. There is a CCG CFO run at 7:30 pm so going sad is just a few beans and it's easy to turn right around and go back in again for revenge and suit advancement. Please meet inside the lobby and gather with your group in the four corners of the room. This will help us to find where the back up players need to go to cover for missing players and it will help us not to collect any randoms who won't understand that the cranes are pre-assigned and not up for grabs. YES!!! I don't have a rehearsal (For a show i'm doing) on that day, I think i'll be able to come.
 Is it alright if i'm 108 laff? i'm kinda coming to help out the little guys. I'll do crane, stomp, anything you want. AHHH! I better get my bucks, I forgot that I don't have a full suit, lol! PS: This is on my second toon, Skimpy McBubble.

Yay!
Put me down as needing crane practice, but if need be I can also be a stomper for others that want crane practice. Any hints for how to control that wild swing of the crane - most of my problem is it takes me ages to control it, then I get annoyed and go stomp goons instead!

There are always toons who discover this run late (Can't imagine not checking ttc each day! Sheesh!) and they'd be very happy to have a chance to join. As a helper, I'll place you on stomping. So let me know if you don't know how to crane yet and would like to be moved to the crane group. Remember, our goal is NOT to help win...we don't care if we win this one, we just want to get that silly crane to obey and do something useful. If it takes an hour of trying to pull it together, so what? The goal of the helpers is to keep the crane operators safe from lights, and to fill the room with treasures in case anybody needs them.

Sign me up on Cat A Tonic please. I'd love to get some tips on using the crane. I think i'm getting better but I don't throw safes as much as I should due to the occasional wild swing.
I usually hold back with a goon ready to smack the CFO back into submission as soon as he stops being dizzy from the last hit. I bring the crane back to center once I have a goon or a safe, then stop for a second or two before swinging the crane slightly forwards, then back and all the way forwards and letting go at the top of the swing. Usually the slight pause stops the swing but not always, I do hit more often than not but I definitely need some real practice.

I'd love some crane practice
Hi All
 ,My toon, Lady Dee Dee Wildwhip would love to have some practice at craning. I've only tried crane twice (for just a few seconds) and I truly, truly stunk (I don't think words alone can convey just how bad it was). I, too am open to any advice anyone has. Thanks so much. PS. If you get too many people wanting to practice craning I can always go next time instead. |

Sorry I didn't mention which toon I'd be bringing. I don't actually know. Violet needs almost 7k/8900 still, so I probably won't bring her. It'll either be Marsh or Blue Moon Rising.

ooo! I can make this run (long as I'm not called up to San Francisco this week, I'd like to come). If I can practice crane, this would be fantastic! I know how to use, just have trouble hitting him with goons (definitely can't hit with safe yet) why do those darn things hit him with a squish taking no points sometimes (no safe on head)? If too many want crane, I can always practice my stomping skills, let me know. I will talk to toons during the week to see if anyone wants to come help stomp
