I was in the factory when a friend whispered to me that Crazy Grove was green. This friend also told me that there were several people in the pit asking him to go into the factory. By the time I got out, I didn't see many people in Crazy Grove but since most had already moved to Giggly Point, I followed.

Wow, I missed any indication of moving - there were a LOT inside at Crazy Grove. Maybe that's why it's so quiet at the CFO lobby.

I didn't make the night run either... "Tooned Out" is a good phrase. I assumed she meant the 7pm run because I know that one was moved, but the 10pm could have been moved as well. However, I have noticed quite a bit in the late runs recently that people don't show up until very close to the run time. Also quite a bit less populated now that school is back in session (in most areas).

I did mean the 7 central run
. I tp'd back and forth a couple of times to see if there was any "obvious" reason. The monkey I mentioned was still in the Crazy Grove pit "directing" people up until at least 5 minutes before the run but that's when I went back to Giggly and vp'd. I just thought it was strange and there have been other discussions on "when" to change...there were a couple of odd toons in the pit. One mid laffer mouse with normal gags was bouncing around telling everyone "let's go to TTC" and getting stinkied so I wasn't sure what to think. Oh well, what's done is done
|

We've got to be careful about this. Every now and then one toon starts saying "Let's got to TTC" (openly and privately to every toon), FOR NO GOOD REASON. Remember, there are a lot of Randoms out there, and Griefers (I keep my own list), and just people who want to mess up play for others.
So, yes, go to the backup if you don't like what you see at the usual meeting place. You can always come back if you don't recognise the names when you get there. My tactic (when playing an Uber) is to only load with Toons I recognise - if I can't see any then I don't go in. |

i was the toon in question, and when i arrived in Crazy Grove it was green and there were toons fighting cogs and asking me for help in the factory, Daisy Gardens was also packed with toons,
I contacted Dizzy Twinklemuffin for her concensus, i also asked Monk E Business through speed chat "which way?" and he replied "Lets Go To Toontown Central!" so a few of us hopped over there, then crazy grove quietened down, and it was too late to move the toons gathered back there. and hard to communicate that fact. i apologise if i caused any problems Allicat, but it certainly looked quite risky when i arrived. better to be safe than sorry! Maybe this will help from this point on.
We don't change districts because there are toons fighting cogs or because there are toons in the PG. The following is taken from the Run Time thread. Quote:
Whats done is done, however, PLEASE lets not get in the habit of calling for a move to the backup district because the district is green, toons fighting cogs in the courtyard or because it "looked quite risky."

I hate the new district color coding. It was so much easier when we could tell if it was one of the top 3 populated districts.
Personally (and this opinion is probably not shared by most), if I get inside the vp lobby, I'm staying. I don't leave to change districts at that point because it's too much of a hassle. Doesn't matter if I'm on my 123 laff or my 39 laff, I will take what I get. If I go sad, I go sad. |

i've no idea why we did actually end up moving last night, just concensus. but what happened happened.
and same applies to me, if i board and go sad, i go sad, i've been left all alone on the elevator numerous times, and wont jump off, to prove a point. its only a few jellybeans, and especialy when i'm not running for enhancement of my suit, and just the enjoyment of playing with some top class players.
