Reporting Runs

Is there a primer some where for the best way to report runs? It seems that I often go on CCG runs, and many times they are not reported. I would like to be better at reporting them.

I have looked at the web interface, and have no real problem using it. My bigger problem is how do people get the names/levels of all 8 toons recorded. I am especially impressed by the reports that list not only the laff levels of all toons, but also the exact suit levels. Is there some trick to getting all this info compiled for reporting, or are the good reporters, just sitting there with a pen and paper and writing down as fast as they can?

I know that F9 takes a screen shot in game, but wonder if there are ideal times to snap?. i.e right before elevator door closes, one shot each of each dancer, or what?

If this information is already available online somewhere, then please accept my apologies, and point me to a link.

Thank You.

judicious use of screen shots.
that and a notepad by the keyboard.
Between those two things you should be abel to get what you need as far as info.
IMHO it's far easier to get data for SBHQ than the other two HQs

First you need to be a registered member on the CCG Member Database. To enter victories, just click on Victories then click on Report a Boss Run.

To get the suits, you can do this in 3 ways. Many people take a screenshot of both elevator views (front while loading and back while the doors are closed). Then you just need to view your screenshot to see the suits. The way I usually get suit levels is by writing down brief info and suits... for instance, on this victory report:
Quote:
Little Dizzy Twinklemuffin Reports that on:

Aug. 22, 2006 0500 CST
8/8 Danced for Daffy Don

+*Little Dizzy Twinklemuffin 112 HW40
+Prof. Wally Poppencorn 115 HW30
+*Serendipity Dawg 34 HW
+*Not T. Monkey 109 HW30
*Captain Cuckoo Crinklebrains 106 TF
Bunny Incognito 47 MS
Joan of Arf 76 CC
Little Kippy Fuzzymonkey 94 CC

+ Together in Cog Round
* Together in Skele Round
I probably would have written down this info as we were loading:
Quote:
LD 40
Prof. 30
Ser 8
Not 30
Cap TF
Bun MS
Joan CC
Little CC
Then I would fill in the rest of the names and laffs as we were battling or during the break.

The last way to get suit levels is to make sure you already have names and laff written down. Then take a look at the merits needed while everyone is dancing. You can find a list of merits needed here. Then as you view the merits, let's say someone's merits show 60/80 merits, you know that person was a Name Dropper 3. If they need 800/160, you know that person was a Glad Hander 8 and they just promoted to Mover Shaker 5. Any time the first number is higher than the 2nd number, it is a promotion.

Thing is, many people report runs and don't list the suit levels. That's ok too. It's best to have as much information as you can, but not imperative to have it all.
