To 2 Bears and 1 Princess. (Not there names) but they know who they are.

I have to say how hurt I am right now. There are 3 members of the CCG that I tried doing a factory run with today. I don't know why they were so mean to me but I want them to know how bad they hurt me.

I tried following any gags you guys wanted to use but that just didn't seem good enough for you guys. And me being a 86 laff and having you tell me over and over again in between your sfs chats saying that it was to risky for me and asking if I was new there. Then trying to get me to go sad by not using any gags and using tu on each other, I just don't understand I USE to think everyone in the CCG were great and very caring loving people.

All I kept doing was asking myself why? Why would 3 people be so cruel? They don't know me, they haven't a clue if I was just a little kid. Which if it was my son playing he would be in tears right now asking me why these people didn't want to play with him.

It wouldn't have hurt the 3 of you to do the whole run with me, I was following you guys. Trying to use the same gags, even though you would change them in the last sec. The one thing that I really don't understand is, I have gone on VP runs with the 2 bears that were there and they were always nice so I am just so confused. The funny thing about it I was happy when I saw the names of the toons, because I remember them from runs with the CCG, so I knew they were members. So I was excited to be in the factory with them. By the way I was on a toon that is not in the CCG right now, not that it should have made any difference.

So can you please explain to me. I know you will read this and you know who you are. So please feel free to PM me.

Just looking for an answer,
Lady Fluffy Hulatwist.

Go to the victory page and select the 'members'

www.ccg.toontowncentral.com/html/victories.htm

under the letter beginning their toon name, try to locate their names. If they are there, then perhaps you need to PM them and find out what the issue really was. Else, contact the ambassadors and relay your grief. It is highly unlikely they were actually CCG members, but if they were, they need correction.

You know this happened to me once, I was griefed in the factory by someone with the same look and name as a CCGer. It turned out not to be them but was a toon that was almost identical except for lps. I'm so glad to see you didn't make the mistake I did posting their name here. I had felt terrible afterwards. Anyway best of luck to you on an answer from them, also try pming them if you don't hear back.
I know CCG can't really control how we play off the runs around TT, but hopefully none would be intentionally mean, especially without reason. CCG should be a part of you throughout TT and I think it is for most.

This is a painful reminder to us ALL that we need to treat ALL toons with respect and kindness. Not only is it the right thing to do, but it reflects poorly on CCG if any of our members act out. I have actually had this thought recently, when I saw an outspoken member of CCG post about griefing someone who chose to pass in a street battle.

*quote removed by DM*

I was reminded recently that my own behavior didn't reflect well. My behavior was completely unintentional and what was intended by me was not how the other person took it. Basically, he felt that I was using speedchat to tell him his playing skills were less than adequate, and in reality I meant something totally different. When I say things like, "Oh, well." I intend to mean "big deal" and shrug it off, but he thought I was stating that his gag choices were unacceptable. I appreciate the fact that he pm'ed me to ask about my speedchat because I was able to explain myself to him. It made me realize that I've done it before and possibly hurt other people's feelings.

I agree with the others that you should pm the offending party(parties) and ask them about their chat as well as gag choices. I'd like to believe that there is some other reason or that their speedchat was intended another way. Perhaps they were telling each other it was too risky, perhaps their own RL situation caused them to make poor gag choices. You will never know unless you ask them.

I can't believe that CCG members would do that though.

All you have to do to be a CCG member is sign up. There are countless amounts of toons that are listed on the member page that are not what you would expect of a CCG member. It is saddening to hear that the 3 toons in question are "regulars" but let's hope for the best and believe it was either like Granny suggested (different toon that looks similar) or that their intentions were not as Lady Fluffy perceived.

Hold the phone here. Now this is going back a long while ago, but I do recall one time that there was an incident about someone letting their kids or nephew or something like that, play their toons during a vp run. The operators caused a HUGE problem in the runs by grief play, and ultimately the owner of the toons was "called out" and a big mess on the forums came about. There were toons who actually gave the owner a hard time before hearing his side of the story. I can't remember all the fine details, but this is the jist of it. Maybe someone who recalls the incident could post if I don't have the whole story straight?

Lets not actually assume guilt before hearing both sides. I'll grant you, the way the OP worded it, it does sound believable, but again, there could be other factors involved.

Yes I am waiting to hear the other side myself that is why I post this.

I can say their names are not that hard to forget, so yes I do know they are part of CCG and I have seen them on many runs. I do know very well that they were talking to me with speed chat because I would ask over and over. "Are you talking to me" with all 3 of them saying "yes" so that is why I decide to just head to the playground then to go on playing any further with them.

NO I do not plan on sending their names to anyone. I only post this so they can see what they did, and have a few of you say some words so maybe they would think before they did something like this again.

You just never know who you are playing with, or how you can make them feel.

Just want to clarify that I am not doubting you about the troubles you had. I commend you for posting this as nicely as you could, concerning the circumstances behind the topic.

i've seen this sort of thing happen before, and bore the brunt of it on many occasions, both as Mohawk, and my other lower laff toons,

i can't see why you should have any problems in the factory, i regularly take 15 or 16 laffers through, as prof. wally poppencorn and enjoy doing it, i get a thrill out of it!

its a shame to see people ganging up on other toons, and its certainly not in the spirit of Toontown or the CCG,

i think it would be only fair for these toons ( if they did actually do what the OP is claiming they did) to PM him with a concise apology for their deplorable actions,

my 2 cents,

Prof. Wally Poppencorn

dumb dog was griefed by someone allegedly running their two CCG toons one morning (and yammering away in SF chat). Very similar to your experience except they MAY have been different owners from the toons who griefed you and they never spoke to me. I had to use a Flippy to toon because they wouldnt after their faking out gags and then passing last second in the second half. In the control room I just caked everything each turn so there was one less cog to get me and they helped with the last one, seeing that I couldnt go sad. I confronted them by PM and like two weeks later they tried to give an excuse that some kid of theirs was doing it.

If it's your toons and your reputation - as well as that of CCG - then it's YOUR responsibility, whether you allege to have been nowhere near the computer or did it yourself and didnt want to admit getting kicks from it. YOU did it if you let that happen to anyone with your toons, and that's all there is.

Oh wow, that catches my attention for 3 CCG members to do that. CCG members are kind people that would help anyone. Really surprising...
