Can't glitch

I can't glitch on the new computer, not at all, not anywhere. the old computer seems to be the same as it ever was.
Any ideas?

Go back to your old computer. The way that glitches are performed are by using lag, which the home key and the f9 key do. Since your new computer is faster, it wont lag as muc. Which means fewer glitches will work.

My moms new laptop is like that too. She has trouble even flying up in the factory. I favor my good ol desktop personally, its not laggy, and its glitch friendly.

I have a similar problem. One thing you can try is to use a toons name to click on instead of using the home key, or try using both together. By constantly clicking on a toons name it seems to do pretty good creating lag. I use this method when the district isn't busy enough for my home key to work.

Scarcely an expert here, but presumably you've tried the basics, the home key, F9 key, and PrtSc key to see if any work for you (our main computer won't even think about glitching with the home key), and tried in windowed mode as well as full-screen? Go into "Properties", "Settings" on your PC desktop and if you have an "Advanced" button, go in and set quality to as high as possible, especially on Direct3D settings.

me too!

I also have a new computer since I've been back to Toontown and I can't glitch at all. No going thru the wall in the big gear room, no flying up in the factory, no jumping out of the lava, nothing. I will try the f9 and prtscr keys but using home I can't glitch either.

On my new pc I can't use Home either. F9 works great in factory for all glitches but I can't do the glitch in the big gear room in mint anymore. I can use it for the paint room and the big stomper, however. Just push F9 and make sure you are pushing the forward arrow key at the same time. You may also have to jump at the same time... I do.

First time I tried F9 I pressed it a dozen times or more. I was frozen for about a full minute taking pictures of the elevator... also, be sure to clear out all the pictures F9 takes once in a while!

Well, I especially like Minesweeper, but having had somebody glitch around the warehouse and beat the supervisor while I was trying to help a little toon through the warehouse cogs, being able to glitch can be a survival skill.

I can't glitch in the DA Offices, unless I'm in the corner of that wall and somebody pushes me, and even then I might come right thru the other side so I leave it up to the glitchers.
I do like working the easy puzzles, if I can get to them before the glitcher does.
In the Mint... I can glitch at the tu barrel but I can't glitch at the stairs anymore.
The warehouse is just too easy.

OOOOOO I love the puzzles in DA! I have never even tried to glitch in there!!! I only glitch in factory and the paint room and stomper room in mint. Like you TF, if a little toon is in factory with me I always help them stomp the goons.

The only puzzles I glitch in the DA is the Avoid the Skull Game and the minesweeper game. If I see someone trying to work the minesweeper puzzle, I glitch it anyway and just stand by the button, ready to push it if they give up. But I can do all the other puzzles. I also cant do the stairs glitch in the mint anymore. One thing I noticed after the LBHQ update is that they took away the ability to make the gags appear rapidly, therfore not allowing us to use that glitch on the stairs of the big gear room in the mint or the wall in DDL. I can do the toon-up barrel glitch in the mint, but it usually takes three of four tries to get myself in the correct position to perform the glitch properly.

Why is it that some big toons refuse to help out those that can't glitch in the factory?
I couldn't live with myself if I left a fellow toon behind, random or not.

Because some big toons have small minds ;P

It's customary for toons to ask among mixed company "Which Way?" when you dance in the warehouse, especially the glitching ones. When a toon starts doing the buttons, then everyone usually follows - or a couple might wait upstairs.

The others - well... *shrug*

If you have maxed throw/sound/squirt/lure you should check out Sir Upticious' guide to soloing the factory. It gives you more options.

The F9 apparently only works if you're in fullscreen mode. Since it crashes me on two computers either way, I dont recommend it. There are always the 5-level lawbot bldgs LOL

Glitchability is rumored to be related to processor speed, and slower PCs are apparently more accommodating.

Admittedly I've left behind ones that grieved me. At least I didnt let them go sad
