boredom is dangerous

After the movie (Independence Day) and Hamburgers... then setting off some fireworks, I came back on Toontown and hopped in Nutty River to get monkey power's piano. I had the sweetest 35laffr run around Seaweed Street helping me and I got it.
Anyway, I went to Cash to finish off my 200 bucks and met a 101laffr there who wanted to fight the CFO.
OMG... I'll never go into a Boss battle with randoms again.

Please, don't let me stray!! It was horrible.
Chain me to anything, keep me on a short leash.. I don't care what you guys do... but NEVER let me do that again!!!

I strayed once to the VP thinking "okay, they wont shuffle off because of me like they did that first time" but after excessive shuffling over others, we went in and the one left on my side (others Alted out) was a strategic moron. I went sad from that first holly that comes out at the start.

No random runs after that!

First off, there is a limited amount of toons to shoot - and only use the very few first toons to get your aim down pat. Raising one notch per shot usually keeps your aim right. Put a toon in and then wait until the last 30 seconds to do any real shooting. It is those toons that should stay when you place them in a chair. If the chairs fill suddenly in the first part of the shoot, then you develop a high amount of cog retaliation of getting those chairs back. It seems best to withhold getting most of the chairs until it is almost too late for the cogs to recover them. The more toons being shot, brings more cogs, so we don't need to give the cogs much time to get to the chairs. Shoot accurately as late as you dare in the cannon shoot.

Deputy Dynowoof - I usually place 3 toons in top row during the late shoot.

Personally, I like going on random VP's and CFO's once in awhile. CJ is just to lengthy to take a chance. Maybe I like the risk. Easy wins get a little boring sometimes. I started using the random runs to practice stunning and the crane until I felt comfortable enough with them to do them on the CCG runs. My experience on abilities and attitudes is they run 50/50. I took my cc1 uber on random vp a few days ago because she hasn't yet maxxed her throw and squirt. (Won't bring her CCG until she does.) Wanted to test her out and expected the worst. I was SO surprised that I didn't get shuffled once. No attitude at all when they saw my 34lp. Made it to the skele round easily. Ended up on the side with no lure so her run ended fairly quickly then. But they all made sad faces and "sorry" as I left. There are a lot of nice and good players out there, even outside the CCG. (Of course, we are the BEST. ) But with randoms - ya win some - ya lose some.

HeeHee you'll find me out hitting the random boss battles, I love the thrill and the risk of it all. And it's rarely an easy win, usually a big challenge to dance. The CCG is the best thing going as far as a smooth load, easy boss fights, kind and helpful toons, generosity ect ect. The thing the CCG boss fights lack is the challenge, or the scary fun to win. lol

Everyone was a random until they became a friend. Yes, you will probably have a few more bad experience on random runs than you do on ccg runs, but you'll also have some really great ones and maybe even make a new friend.

Princess Ladybug wanted to do another VP last night after the last ccg run and had very few friends on. So she loaded up on her sound and hit the busy district. The shuffle was awful, although I don't think it was me. I don't think anyone looked past my HW suit to see my 41 laff LOL. The doors finally closed with a couple of CCs and several 50-60 laff toons. I was on the edge of my seat most of the time. I got down to 1 laff . . . twice (phew, would have been gone if I hadn't just got that promo LOL). Watching all 8 of us dance was exhillarating.

Random VP runs are the worst of the bunch IMO. VP runs are where you get more of the inexperienced toons that tend to get scared and/or frustrated and tend to bail on a group. But as others above have mentioned, its great for practicing stunning, thats if you make it that far.

I love doing Random CFO runs with smaller suits in the busy district. The only thing is most will not go unless there are 8 toons on the elevator. Teamwork is hit and miss in the cog round at best. When it comes time for the crane round, I just love hearing practically every toon say "May I operate the crane?". WoooHooo! Thats when I know it'll be a great run for practicing survival. Its probably the best chance anyone will get to operate a crane when the floor is flooded with Red hat goons, because on random runs, this is the time all the toons go treasure hunting!
