SOS Shopping Run July 8

There will be an SOS shopping run on Saturday, July 8 at 4 PM PST. Post your name in this thread and I will set the teams up on Friday evening and I will PM the team leaders with the district and the backup district. Anyone is welcome to come to these, not just CCG members. Also, this is not just for HW50's, it is for any suit level looking to pick up a good SOS card. For those of you that don't know what SOS card shopping is, it is going into the VP looking for a specific group of SOS cards. These runs will be great in order to help get your toons ready for soloing any of the bosses. We will try the staying through the cog round method for this run and try the f4 method on the next run. You keep doing this until you get a good card. I hope I explained this well enough. Hope this goes over well! I would also like to add that this was partially my idea, mostly Doc Quackenheimer's idea. I took it and ran with it. Hope you dont mind, Doc.

This run will go by the following format. Doc's list of nine valuable SOS cards will be an excellent guide of what cards we will be looking for.

I think that this will be enough to go by, dont you all? For this week, we will have some toons that try the alt-f4 method. I personally cant do this becuase after about the second try, I start to lag reeeaaallly bad. So I will split up the groups going into the TP out group and the f4 out group. Also, I am not sure if I can personally make the run. I am unsure of the schedule for my all-star baseball team and I might have a game at that time. Anyway, post which group you would like to be in in your post(tp out or f4) and I will make sure that is whwho oyu go with. Also, we will not be doing pre-set teams this time. I will pick two or three people and give them a list of toons to PM. I think we are all smart enough to make up our own teams on the spot. Thanks and have fun!

Honestly, the TP is much easier and less time consuming.

Doesnt make much sense to have an F4 group unless you're catering to an "old habits die hard" breed. Do you really need that since there are no real pro's to that method?

I remember being the second person who posted that I wanted to be added. Maybe TTC forum got busy?

Please add either Flippers McGurgle or dumb dog. Whichever has merits will be good to go.

Im a bit confused,Id love to come on Miss Hulaberry but I don't know what the TP-out method is. I know altf4 but not when to do it(besides while in elevator). Any clear explanations is appreciated,since I've done these.

TPing out is killing all the round one cogs, then opening the book and teleporting out.

There seems to be alot or wrong information on the alt f4 method being given here. I've done both many times, and if you have a fairly new PC the alt f4 method is much faster. If a group would like to at least try that method to see which you prefer, I can bring two toons to start a group. In either case I should be able to bring two toons next week unless something comes up in RL.
