Now that sounds FUN! Hmmm...I may have to borrow the projector from work and try it out!

My best friend in real life has one of these, we have hours of fun playing other videogames on it. Let us know how it goes.

all depends on how far away from the wall i place it, after the summer, when i'm back up at university it should take up the whole of my wall, which is about 8 ft X 12 ft

You'll be able to read the label on the caged toon in the VP while you are still wearing your cog suit disguise. OOOOOh yeah, a card shopper's dream come true.

I think I'd get motion sick just running through the streets however, so it's not for me.

I'm happy for you. What a delight to enhance your game.

i'll try give it a shot at some point this evening, but theres slight issues over siting the projector, in my study i have 4 computers that the family need access to, and one free wall,

i need to have a clear shot to the wall, and the only way for me to do this at present is to mount it from the ceiling, so i'll need a male to male video extension cable, and a ceiling bracket.

but for future use it'll need to be in the range of 8-12 m
which i can not get locally, only online, same applies to the IEC power cable, i'll have to make one of them myself!

or i could just move my computer through to the lounge and use the WIFI internet

ah fun times lie ahead

It just wasn't the same for me when I tried that. I went back to my 21" flattie after five min of tooning large. If hubby wins we'll be getting one of those projector things soon. I'll have to give it a go on that to try it out.
