Wow! Last nights VP

WOW!!! Last nights vp was something else! I couldn't believe it when I walked in the lobby to see this. There were still toons coming in the door and some in the pit! What an awesome turn-out!

Here's a pic of my view, I tried to make it to the top but the platform was jammed packed!

wow! that is packed! lol, yesterday I did a vp where the SOS toon was clerk Clara, but during that time, I called her to help me, and she apparently got out of her cage and helped me...

That was quite a sight when I walked in the lobby. I'm standing towards the back in that screenshot and there were still toons coming in. Took a while to get close to even loading. Nice to see so many there!

It was funny yesterday.
The pit was so packed that I felt I was stuck in a huge wad of chewed up gum... so I thought I'd go inside the VP lobby and get away from it.
HAHA... from the pit to the lobby there was no difference and... my friend and I are to the right of your picture and we just kept saying wow and holy moly to all the ppl, but if you noticed with the Ambassadors there.. nobody shuffled and if they did... I'm sure they got a little talkin' too.

This is the first time I have posted about the CCG.

I was there last night with my other toon Weird Winky Wackywhip along with my daughter and a few SF. It was "standing room only" LOL

We (5 of us) could not get into the same elev. Soooo many toons and what happen? That dang lag monster got me good, but I was able to still play. Wasn't able to run with some of my sf, but np there. I hate the so call "elev shuffle dance" and so glad for the CCG. Its the only time I will VP my other toon. Ya'll are some really great folks!

If I remember right, 7 out of 8 toons where doing the dance at the end. The one that "died" was one of my sf, it was her first time there and it was close to the end. I just couldn't get her tooned up. Only trouble I have is trying to toon up other toons. I just can't seem to get that part down yet. No matter if I am right behind them or not.

Seriously, tell your friend that she'd be MUCH easier to toon up if she'd stand still, preferably at the top of a ramp! One of the toons on that run is very good at pieing for toonups, but she couldn't manage it on your friend because she wouldn't stop running around. We felt bad, she would have gotten her first victory if she had just stood still for a moment.

Your friend has a short toon, so it's harder than average to toon them up, easiest way is if they're at the top of a ramp and you're below them facing away from the VP. Which is a little risky for you, since you won't see the jumps coming.

Feel free to invite your friend back, but preferably if she has read the CCG strategy first--she didn't always seem to understand the way we go about the VP. I think she had it figured out pretty well by the end, though.

Hopefully more runs will be reported through the day - sometimes people can't get to it until later the next day. Currently the CCG website reflects 131 toons in VP yesterday with 114 dancing.

I was pretty surprised when I saw the crowd too, especially since there was a blue circle next to the district name! That district was definitely NOT "Quiet".

By the way, my son and I (playing Supercrunch) happened to get in your group, Miss Sqweaky Klean. I hope that my presence didn't make you sleepy!

ROFL A Lot - I didn't realize that was you but now I know why I was feeling a little tired! (insert sleepy smiley here) Glad you joined us - now I know to who to watch out for! Hehehe

It was my first VP run since well before I went on vacation and I was quite surprised at the turnout. I understood someone to say that they started loaded by at least 5 til and ours...the last of the crowd left at 8 minutes after the hour with 7 toons and a few toons still entering the lobby.

I got there late (straight up on the hour)...but I moved to the platform and to the side so I could observe the loading process. I did see some of our regular shufflers -- grrrrr! I wish I knew how to contact some of these toons as they run with us on a regular basis but they are not signed up on the website and so far I have been unable to connect their toon to a TTC user name. With as many changes as we've made....the fact that these toons are still with us lets me know they -- or someone they know--- follows the board.

All the elevators I observed went off fairly smoothly because members packed on when others shuffled off.

We do have a lot of people showing up on a regular basis who haven't registered. And some seem to take advantage of the lack of accountability.

Would it hurt to move the run times listing over to the CCG Private forum? Only way you can track the changes is if you have registered then, right?

Probably some big downside to this, just throwing it against the wall. Fire away...
