Hey guys I was just wondering if this happens to you:

When I fight a Name Dropper, when it does that teeth attack that makes the circle of pixie dust come out, my computer crashes, it didn't happen before though because the guy did not come get rid of a risked file yet. Can you tell me what happens to you?

Oh and also can you post if you know how to fix it ?

I have never seen this but I think it might help if you downloaded a newer driver for your graphics card. My lappy kept crashing every time I attempted a vp and since updating my driver I have had no problems (touch wood. lol). Hope that helps.

That always happened to me w/ any cog that would do that attack. With that new big update they put on that was "Open during construction", that is what caused it. I emailed tt and they said i needed to update my graphics card driver. Now it works perfectly.

Ok, maybe some people do not know how to update your drivers for your video card. You probably dont know what card you have.

So I will tell you how to do it and without messing up your computer in the process.

To find out what video card you have and what version of driver your running do the following. (Note, this is Win XP, but it works for all versions of windows)

While on your desktop, right click on My Computer. Choose Properties then on the dialog choose the Hardware tab. Then choose Device Manager.

It will look like this:

Choose Display Adapters the right click on your video card, the first one in the list. Choose properties. In the dialog box, choose Driver. It will look like this:

While there are a few options, you shouldnt worry about any of them except maybe Update Driver. Which updates from the Microsoft web server, not very extensive and not recommended unless your video card is so old that the manufactor doesnt even support it any longer. In which case, time to get a new video card.

However, take note and write down your cards name, driver version and the manufactor. You can search Google for drivers by typing in the manufactors name and your cards name plus drivers. Like mine, I would type in: Gigabyte Radeon 9200 drivers. Generally the first 3-5 results would be correct.

But if you have no luck, I would suggest the ultimate website for drivers for nearly EVERY hardware made, Drivers.com.

As always, follow the instructions and you will be fine. Good luck and I hoped I helped some of you out.

This is the email I got from Disney regarding my invisible toon syndrome:

Dear Toontown Guest,

Thank you for your recent bug report.

Disney's Toontown Online utilizes the latest 3-D features of current
video cards. It's helpful to stay current with your video card's latest
software drivers.

The problem you reported might be a problem with your video card drivers
that can be resolved by upgrading to their latest drivers which can be
found on the manufacturer's or vendor's web site.

The graphics card installed on your computer is the NVIDIA GeForce FX
5700LE with drivers from 7/20/2005.

Please click on the link below to download the latest driver for your
graphics card:

You can also click on the following link to find out more about the
specific equipment, such as 3-D cards, needed to play Toontown.

We look forward to seeing you in Disney's Toontown Online soon!

Check that first site that Disney gave me - it really helps.
