account information warning
I have just logged out of Toontown and am perturbed by a sf asking me for account name and password. He promised me 6000 jellybeans and a 119 toon added onto my account. Obviously i decined the invitation and explained why he should not be doing this. He did not seem to understand why and continued to ask other sf`s who were nearby. I would just like to point out to any children reading this that your account information should never be given to anyone.Even if it is a secret friend and it sounds very tempting....
Needless to say he is a secret friend no more...... I would hate my own children to be placed in this situation. LLK

Yes, you should keep that info secret, but Bunny Summers made a thread that covered this kind of information. Oh and in case that happens to anyone, I made a guide about how to combat it! It got buried in the playground pages though... if you need it go through my profile! XD

Thanks for the information on the existing thread I did not mean to repeat information, only to remind children of the dangers by reporting a recent incident.They too may have been approached this evening and be considering the tempting offer, if a simple post stops this from happening I will be satisfied.

I still don't think that your account info should be given to ANYONE not in your immediate family or friends that you know that you would trust with your life. It is just that simple. About the JB's and the 119 toon, maybe he was being truthful. But it sure sounds like a con job to me.

Dont even trust someone from school -_-' it happened to me from a very good freind of mine from school. Turned out to be a thief then a good freind -_-' I got it back though since i took it with the principal(lol she got very mad,he got a refferal,had to write atleast 100 sentances and lost recess and lunch. He was a 7th grader and i was younger then him! But i knew him very well

that would be scary is someone asked for my account i mean my dad is paying for me to play this i don't want someone to get in it even though i have to share with my friend since she can't at her house but she berly plays toontown and if she does i am watching her

Lily, by all means report this troublemaker to Disney.
I was in a similar incident a couple months back, and was very pleased with how quickly Disney responded to the situation. The troublemaker's SF ability was disabled very quickly. Thanks for passing the word along, so others will be wary. Violet B.
