People want it back so much becuase it was fun. I started Toontown before the Merry-Go-ROund but it sounds like fun.

What's so great about it? It's just a spinning HQ with piano keys. Does everyone just want it to be back so they can take their Toon there and leave it spinning all day? I don't get it either.

I cant say I miss the merry go round that much but I do remember it and know alot of people would play on it. The merry go round surrounded the hq in the MM playground. You could start it spinning by running into what I remember being drums located near the wall and my son says up on top as well, but dont remember those. Anyway the more you ran into the drum the faster the merry go round would go. ( not sure but think jumping on and off it caused it to spin faster as well) So toons would jump on and off as it spun faster and faster. This is how I remember but didnt play on it much so anyone who remembers it differently is welcome to correct me. Its been a long time hasnt it?

im an old school toon 2 lol

i played toontown right after it went out of beta, i played around with merrygo round for years, and yes i want it back, but Disney knows that if they do what customer feedback says just once, all of us will start asking them evn more to do stuff that makes the game easier, so dont bash us for wanting the merrygo round back, i know im only a 106 and ud think id be bettr after playing so long but i lost my toon about 2 or 3 times, all that were 100's, i remember the peace in DG when SBHQ wasnt there, and i remember the scramble when it came, i remember losing cog parts after each VP battle ( boy that stunk) and i remember when toontown had nearly no mean people, and all u did was buildings, man it was relaxing and fun to play, no idiots to worry about lol good times, i also remember when u didnt have to run around tasks in Dream land, that was awesome, i remember when pros werent mean to me on my beginner toon, i remember this pro that helped me through my entire LOM task set, boy i miss that kindness, now its just barbaric, evry toon for himself, i hate it...

I agree with you, before Toontown was nicer, I think Disney needs to make a In-Game Reporting System where you can Report Bad Toons while playing the game.

No, fishing wasn't in toontown, but when it came, it got rid of the merry go round.

To all toons who didn't see the merry go round: There is a video around in the forums called "Stayin Alive" You will see the merry go round there in that video.

first the merry go round is very slow. when a toon gets on, it will go faster. then mroe toons, more faster, u get dizzy! its fun. when someone touches the instrument, the merry go round will switch directions. also they had a different ground there too. Its fun if u saw and played it when it was there. Also that big thing on top of the hq, spined around and went fast and went like wheeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol. i played with it alot before the fishing came out. yes im one of the ppl who misses it.

The Merry-Go-Round was a landmark, back then many toons came to Melodyland just to ride it. Everyone wanted to see how fast it could spin, it seemed like a thousand miles per hour. The HQ in the center of it spun as well. It was fun jumping onto it from the upper level of the playground. Ask a toon thats been around for a couple of years and you'll see why we want it back.
