"Look who's got no toon-up!" "Look at the noob, at 106 laff!" "You loser! You need toon-up in order to be my friend!" "You have not met my requirements to be my friend." These short words walk a thousand miles in a mind of a toon with no toon-up.

I. Toon-up issue
I recently had gone on toontown. I made a really great friend on my new newbie toon I just made because I was bored. After 2 hours of playing with this toon, I really wished I could be their secret friend. Out of nowhere, the toon just logged off. Then, 5 minutes later, she came back online. She took me to her estate, and gave me a code to be her sf. Then we played for maybe another 30 minutes. Then she asked to be my sf on my normal toon. Then again, we played for maybe an hour. We got into a cog battle, she asked for a toon-up. I said "I don't have toon-up, sorry!" She said "what!??! you noob!!" and she ran out of battle and X'ed me off her list. I'm not a noob. I worked harder then you to get my 106 laffs and 6 almost all maxxed gag tracks.

II. Toon-up Issue #2
Toon: Please be my friend!
Me: OK
Toon: Thanks!
Me: No thankyou!
Toon: No thankyou!
Me: No thankyou!
Toon: Hee hee!
Me: Hee hee!
Toon: Let's go fight the cogs!
Me: OK
Toon: What toontask are you working on?
Me: I need to defeat some cogs.
Toon: Let's go to sellbot Headquarters!
Me: OK
Toon: :-)

Me: You are awesome!
Toon: Thanks! You rock!
Me: Thanks! :-)
Toon: :-)
Me: I think you should choose lure.
Toon: OK. I think you should choose toon-up.
Me: Sorry, I can't.
Toon: Please! I need a toon-up.
Me: Sorry! :-(
Toon: Don't be mean!
Me: Say what?

*We finish battle...*

Toon: :-( I need a toon-up.
Me: Sorry I can't.
Toon: Huh? You've got to be kidding. Bye!
Me: :-( No!!!
Toon: Yes. Bye!

III. Why are you being so mean?
The game is NOT about stragity, winning, being powerful, or etc. It's about making friends and having fun! So why are we turning toontown upside down and twisted inside out? For what reason? Do ya think your cool or something, being mean to someone not at your level or age? Toontown is becoming Doomtown, as most of us has noticed. I know a few different toons who don't give a hay about me having no toon-up. I thank you guys so much for being such a great friend to me. And I hope you know who you are.

XV Do you know how it feels...?
Having no toon-up starts out great and the toon-up less toon feels great about being different. But it all ends out the same. The toon gets picked on for no toon-up. The toon starts getting left out by other toons. It doesn't feel like a flower in a garden 24/7 when you got no toon-up. It hurts. So what? Maybe we got no toon-up. It just makes us the rebels, and the others who don't like toons who don't have toon-up, the snobbish toons who can't accept the different ones. (AKA the rebels) So why do we gotta fight? Why don't we just forget about stats, gags, laff, and etc. Who cares, let's all just have fun? No. My words aren't going to work, apprently.


My 2 stories aren't the only encounters I've had.
My words aren't all 100% correct.
Heck, my roman numerals aren't even 100% correct!

So please just pretend the toon stat window isn't there, and accept the toons who don't have toon-up, or any other gag that might not meet another toon's "requirement"

NOTICE: Nothing from anyone on the forums pushed me to want to write this. This is all from my heart having to write out this issue, and I'm taking a stand for me. And other toons who get hurt, sad, and cry about this.

I understand your feelings. However, many people do not want friends who have no toonup. Here's an example: You are in a VP battle. You have two noobs on your side, they both die. The last one standing is a 116 laffer(Or less, just using a higher laffer as example). You have been tooning the 116 laffer the whole time, and do not worry that he does not have toonup, because, come on, you never wonder about a high laff toon like that not having toonup, you never wonder if they do. Well around halfway through the battle you are at 39 laff. You say "I need a toonup." He says "Sorry I can't". The next thing you know, you're in Daisy Gardens looking for spare change(You're dead, sad, whatever you want to call it).
So, you died because a 116 laffer did not have toonup. How do you feel? This is just a situation alot of people do not want to get into. I admit, I have done to people exactly what this toon did...I have became their friend, found out they did not have toonup, and deleted them. I try to not do that as much...but it is scary if you are in a hard battle such as the CFO/VP and the person next to you, whom you figure you can count on, does not have toonup. I am not going to be rude to you about it, or even tell you to choose toonup, because it's your choice. I am just saying to look at the other point of view, and how you would feel.

My first toon 115 laff points does not have toonup. I have great friends who help me, time to time I run accross those few toons whome i call "gaggist". I just ignore them, I dont know why they are complaining after we win a battle. Some people think that you have to have toonup for everything. Well, I did a 4 toon cfo without toonup with no problem. I betch you all those toons who are like that and have toonup have never done a 4 cfo before. I wouldnt call myself a noob at 115 laff- HW 50, Rb41. If people are scared to go with me thats fine, I wouldnt care about them. If I have those stats then its obvious that ive had some success. And everyone knows you cant beat the cfo/vp competely by yourself wthout someones help.

Then you obviously did not use good teamwork or you just didn't know how to play the game or that would not have happened. So you couldnt blame it on that toon. I have, mention in my post above, done a cfo without toonup, non sf with the person on my side, cfo. It's not hard just takes good teamwork.

Who cares if you don't have toon up or not? I think not taking toon up would be a pretty good choice because almost every other toon has it. Those people who think its necesary to have it have a problem. I'm sorry people have done this to you, but try to ignore them they are just immature.

Personally, I think it's neccesary to have toon up, but there's no reason to go to the extreames.
