Friends and "toonmanship"

Though this post is a reply to a thread which has been closed, I wanted to state my opinions. Hopefully others can share their views WITHOUT it turning into a "fight".

I don't think that anyone can or should say that "all <enter toon levels and types of your choice here>" are a certain way.

EVERYONE is different...and has different goals and opinions.

I, myself, have several toons...some low-laffers, and some high-laffers...and my goals and opinions don't change depending on the toon I'm playing.

Personally, I'll help anyone I can IF I can and IF I'm not already "doing something". (In other words...if I'm running down the street, and a toon asks me for help, I'll help...unless I was running to a different playground to help another friend. I'll be friends with most toons...regardless of any laff point differences...with a few exceptions. I try to choose my friends by the way they behave and play...and not by their laff points or toon types.

I'm not perfect...far from it. (Ask anyone I've CFO'd with. LOL) ...but I try my best to be fair and to be nice to others. That's all I ask of anyone.

You didn't realise that yet? (althout the ''speciesism'' is new to me, i think) But, yeah, It's there. For example, I did get to go to and visit the mints before being in DDL althout it wasn't easy (and to be honest, now that I am in DDL, I do judge myself). You forgot suitism in VP and CFO. Being Cold Callers and Short Changes isn't easy. But still, people migth think CFO shuffle is unjustified, seeing that we are all DDL toons, but (and let it be kown that I'm a 80 somthing laff Short Change) the CFO battle isn't as easy to coordinate as the VP battle. Laff will keep you from dying but experience will bring you to making the CFO eat train. I myself wouldn't want to hop on the CFO elevator with only SCs or PPs. There, I'm done.

Yes, I did. I had to laugh a few days ago. One of my toons (a 109 laffer with all six gags maxed) went to attempt to CFO for the first time on open. (I'd been there and won on test, but not on open yet.) As I approached the elevator, a toon (with 106 laffs) whispered to me that this was "too risky" for me. LOL Too funny.

A toon is a toon is a toon, just like a person is a person is a person Lol.

I personally don't judge on species...I never noticed any trends to distinguish them.

You really have a point there.I've been friends with 16 laffers to help them. And I'm a 62 laffer.I don't help them when I'm doing a toontask on helping them,I do it because I feel they need help. And when they say "Thanks" I always feel like I did something right.
One day I saw a 73 laffer(or around there)saying "No" to a 18 laffer when she wanted help and wanted a friend.I stayed out of the fight but I gave that 18 laffer a chance and became her friend.
I hope lots of people feel the same way.

your the blue green smily
it's not your fault that the toon was like that. your SF's got you into peer pressure and you didn't know what to do. but you know what? they're not your friends if they make you do mean things. (wow; being 13, you really learn a lot about life!)

I don't have sfs but when I walked up to help the 16 laffer(1 laff point until seeing the playground)my friends said "No".I felt really sad for him but I didn't want to loose friends. And so he jumped out of the way and I helped him defeat the cogs and walked away with my friends. But I'm 10 y/o and I was also peir pressured too.

well it seems like a lot of friend betrayal is being used as a threat a lot. we must stand up to peer pressure and know we have a life! our "friends" do not control us! if they do they really aren't our friends.
and also know that the right way isn't always the easy way. even in minor things like giving a smaller toon a toon up.
looks like i gotta give a lot of hugs here!
