Movie?
I noticed in the info about the catalogs that you'll be able to buy more emotes from them, and it got me thinking... once this is released, I wonder if we could film a Toontown movie? With a script, plot, characters, and everything else? We just have to figure out what it'll be about, and find some actors, as well as someone who can record movie files from Toontown and edit them (TopCat, if you're reading this, are you interested in being the cameraman?)
I'm a pretty good writer, so I can write the script once we decide what it'll be about. And as for music, I'm also a composer, so I'd be willing to score it, too. What do you guys think? ![]() (Oh, and don't reply begging to be in the film... we don't even know what the characters would be yet, so casting is a long way off I'm more interested in seeing if people think this is a good idea or not...)

How about the main bad guy of the movie would be the Big Cheese! It would be like we keep recording toons dieing by a big cheese. Or we keep recording The Big Cheese attacking. The beg. of the movie would be in Toon-Torial.
I have had the idea that.......Z.Z.Z.Z.Z.Z.Z.Z.Z |

What!?
I have to be a cameraman!? I wanted to be the hero!!
Anywho, im surprised not to see more movie threads, i felt we were standing on a volcano here, and after me and Gok released our videos I thought that the community would be swamped with toonmade videos, but then... nothing, even after some hints on how to do it. If people are interested but dunno how to start i could write a tutorial or maybe link to some sites so you can get going creating. Then if we get a few people we can start a movie idea thread where peeps can hook up. It's easy to wait and hope Disney may implent some new camera modes or new things for us to film, but its more interesting seeing people coming up with new ideas to make a cool piece out of something as static as ToonTown ![]() So get busy!! TC needs entertainment til the new catalogs are out! Hint hint.

Well, I don't mind being the cameraman, if you want to be a star, TopCat... I just thought that since you had the video editing software and stuff... But thanks for the info. I have Fraps now, and I just need to find a free video editing program.
Mostly, though, I think that it'll be best to make a movie once those extra emotes are put into the game, since it'll be easier to act with them. But that doesn't mean we can't start coming up with a storyline, then we can work on a script from there ![]() *EDIT* Just had an interesting idea. Maybe some kind of "Toon Patrol" thing, like a group of toons that have become sort of like superhero-like defenders of the toons in Toontown? On the opening, we'd seem a couple of them coming to the rescue of a poor toon cornered by the cogs, etc.

Ofcourse im only joking, but you knew that Dusty, right?
If you don't like Adobes 30 days shareware, then search Google for freeware video editing software, like Windows Movie Maker 2 Knew about a few good freeware programs, but I forgot them at the moment, any way, go out and search. Fly my crows, fly!!

Hmmm... I have an idea for a music video in my head for a while now. Unfortunately, I'll have to "borrow" a particular scene from Disney's Toontown trailer. I've never seen cogs flying in groups in the game before.
Windows Movie Maker 2 is good, but the fact that it only saves videos in Micro$oft's proprietary WMV format is a turn-down.

I would like to see a montage of Toontown scenes while an obscure piece of music from the 1980s plays. Failing that, set it to one of Weird Al Yankovic's polka medleys.
Or perhaps intercut Toontown scenes with scenes from old kung-fu movies, for the sole purpose of sowing confusion. Or take clips of toons performing the Lil Oldman tasks to get their last gag track and set them to "The Raider's March"(better known as the Indiana Jones theme). The possibilities are endless.
