Not that neone cares.....
Unfortunately i am not going to be playing toontown anymore. I am getting a cell phone and need my allowance to pay for it. Sorry i didnt say proper good byes....

While your sense of humor and personality certainly added something to the game, your sense of cooperation and strategy in battle was awful.
Our last time together (as non-secrets cause I couldn't stand being bothered constantly) consisted of you getting the 2 other toons killed and then wanting to bail out for fear of the remainder of the high level cogs. I insisted you stay and follow me, which you did for the first time in my observation, and we finished the building. I did not like that dandyboing would often (no, make that always) try to demean you, even when you were just trying to be funny. You are a great person with a good heart. I just did not like to be with you in battles. Enjoy your phone.

Sorry to see you go Bongo - you made me laugh my *** off while we were running those 4s in Brrgh! Hope to see you back one day - and just because you aren't playing doesn't mean you can't drop in here and say howdy once in a while!

Yeah....
I will be staying on and believe me i i have tried to get them to keep paying but..... alias didnt happen.
 Thanks..... im looking for some advice for the best cell phones i should get but i dont want to pay too much  Any help???? |

This sounds silly but why do you need a cell phone? If its to call home then a pre-paid calling card cell plan maybe best. If because you are a sterotypical teen who spends all her free time on the phone then I'd get one with long battery life.
 (Note that I have always hated speaking on the phone. I am quite cordial for work but now with e-mail, I prefer to communicate that way when possible.)Do a google search on cell phone comparisons, try looking at Consumer Reports as well, compare the features you want and then prices.Get the most bang for your buck. Oh, and if you're going to carry your phone to public places such as a library, make sure your phone has a silent mode so you can receive calls but not disturb everyone with a ring. |

Bah! Kids don't need cell phones.
Why, when I was a kid, we used tin cans and string for doing the same thing. A lot cheaper, and we got tired of it long before the batteries ran out. What you need is a Kid Bugs , I'm sure that your parents would think it was a good idea. :) |

Guess some of this goes back to the parenting issue. My parents wanted to know who I was talking to and limit the time I was on the phone. I didn't make long distance calls so I wasn't bringing the bill up. I had a bedtime so by having to use the house phone, I didn't receive calls after said time.
The fact that everyone has one is total BS. That is not a reason to get anything. I know you feel left out (I naver owned a Nintendo or anyother game console until I met my husband - after the Atari 2600 my Dad bought.) and I did fine! Of course my skill in these games limits me to Mario Party, Escape from Monkey Island and the like, but I enjoy myself. There's a big debate going on now at my alma mater because the students are bringing phones to class. You are there to learn not talk with your buds! (Not saying that you would be that rude Bongo) The most parents as I was growing up would do was add an extra phone line in the house for their kids. But cell phones weren't that popular (or cheap or light) back then. I can't see a need for kids to have cell phones. I see exceptions of course. A portable phone would have been ideal when my parents were waiting on me to come back from a marching band event. Once you get your drivers licence, its nice to have one for emergencies. I don't know how long I would have been stuck on the highway after my tire blew if I hadn't know there was a speed trap a mile up the road. But the people I see with phones are using them to gossip. And the stuff you overhear can be quite funny! Sorry, didn't mean to go on this long. I'm not questioning your parents. I actually questioning our society in general. |
