Im fed up. Sent this to disney

Im really getting sick of the way disney is doing stuff. I sent this to them. Am I trying to get their attention? Yes I am. If I get the same old same old response, they've only proven me right in what im saying 100%

Quote:
I cant stand this anymore. I really cant. I was in a tight spot in the factory and my lure kept missing (and this isnt the first time. It keeps happening). My hypno gogles (which is maxed 9999) keeps missing 2/3 times, sometimes all 3 of them miss. Then when I decide to use my sos "Barnicle Bessy" it misses. It would have totally saved my hide but it missed! You only get one of those and they are rare! Isnt it supposed to have perfect accuracy? No one in my family that has had barnicle bessy has got that sos to hit. Its always missed.

Right after barnicle bessy misses and i get hit hard I use a blue magnet, which surprisingly hits. I use flippy to save me as far as laugh goes. I take out two cogs with my maxed birthday cake. The other two (forman and a lvl 7 name dropper come out. Do some damage. I use a couple $10 and blue magnets, which also miss.

And you know what. I was helping a toon with 45 laugh points do a factory task. Im a nice guy and always will be. But what good are my sos's and lure if they miss constantly. What good is it? I swear my hypno hit alot more often before I had maxed it.

I've recently hit holly and im starting to get into the big merits. Sos's arnt going to be easy to come by because I have to do tons of boring consistant long runs. You guys want me to continue being nice to lil toons? Give me some tasks that give me merits and Ill be helping them all the time. Im not going to spend my time doing 10 long runs to VP every time I want to. Eventually im going to get bored with the game and stop playing all together. (not that you care). But im not the only one. How hard would it to be to add a task like "Help a new toon defeat a cog building for x merits" or "Help a new toon defeat a factory for x merits" or even "Help a new toon defeat the vp for x merits".

If you were to do that you would get alot more people willing to help each other. Before SBHQ it used to be that. Since SBHQ there has been an attitude to get the biggest suit and push anyone else away no matter what. I do not like this attitude. Heck when writing this (im in windowed mode w/ dual screens so I can do two things at once) I let my toon sleep after going sad (in this incident) and a toon kept pushing me until I was in the trolly and said "haha". Now what if that were a cog building? I've even seen that happen on several occastions.

Whats funny is you have no forums or official community to speak of. There's a site "www.toontowncentral.com", that im sure your very much aware of, where people talk about the game, ask for help, etc... Whats humerous is alot of the complaints and things people dont like going on with Toon Town end up there. Why? Because then dont get anywhere emailing you. You guys have a really great game (heck my whole family plays it. 5 seperate accounts) and your support... lets just say it can be greatly improved. You could have an official forum for people to interact, etc... Maybe promote "toontowncentral.com" or something. A bug tracker would even be nice.

Here's some examples of companies that do this:

http://www.steampowered.com/forums/
http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums...hp?forumid=315
http://support.microsoft.com/newsgroups/default.aspx
http://www.battle.net/forums/board.a...ame=sc-general

And thats just a few of them.

Here's a bug tracker: http://bugs.php.net/

I've even setup a bug tracker that could be used for toon town (on my spare time. bug tracker software uses the GPL open source licesne. ie. free):

http://www.cywh.com/ttbug/

I really think toon town is a great game. I just wish things would improve. More interaction with the customer. More than just "uh.... get a better computer". The customer isnt stupid (well most of the time).

Which makes more sense: Keep the customers you have and have them there to help new customers (customers == players). Or loose them and have to spend more money on advertising to attract more (and not have the experienced players that KNOW what they're doing).

I hope you take this into consideration. I really dont want an automated response like ive gotten in the past. Dont prove me right by doing that.

Thanks for your time.

"you: i can walk through walls. Disney: get a new computer! bleh! bleh! help people!. You: what does that have to do with anything?"

Now im exaggerating a little there, but not by much

I know how you feel about the lure part. Once when I was in the VP, at the skelecog part. The only ones that were left on our side were me and a 90 something laffer. We both didn't have toonup left, so he fought the cogs while I tried to lure. It missed every time, and then I ran out, when I had already had like, 15 small magnets and 5 big ones. Yeah, if Disney doesn't listen then...I don't know what I'll do.

Oh yeah, and we both died after that. -_-;

Another reason why we need spell-check . I usually paste what I'm about to post in MS word. I didn’t this time because... I’m a little frustrated right now . That happens after you loose 3 good SOS's only to have them either miss, or do no good when helping a lil guy out, then remember your about to get a big taste of the 5500 merit fever.

And I don’t play much at all. I’m no where near like some other people that can max several toons at lvl 50 Mr. Hollywood w/ a couple super noobs on the side.

My Chip toon never works! I sent them an email and they gave me one back saying we checked your acount and there is no bug. I didn't even tell them my acount! For Rockin Rabit, his lure (Hypno Goggles) always miss by himself in the Foreman! It has never worked alone in the Foreman!

But one thing i do hate is how all the n00bs go into VP like 50 and below cause it makes all the good people that want to fight vp leave cause they wont go away and its way to risky for them io even saw a 15 laffe rin there once so i think you should atleast be 75 laff+ to do vp you no what i mean i hate it

Another reason why we need spell-check...

ieSpell is a great little program. It puts a button in your IE button bar. Click it & it will spell check any text fields in the page you are on.

except some tasks require you to help a toon 50 laff or below defeat the VP

You dont seem to realize that when I said merit tasks, make them something like "help a new toon do this for x merits". If you do that, and only that, not only will it help other toons out but it saves toons with big merits, epseicaly ones with 5500 10 full long factory runs which DOES get boring. Id rather do cog buildings to get my my merits, but you hardly get any compared to the factory. You could also make these tasks avaiable when you reach Mr. Hollywood or a certain lvl of Hollywood like 12. Or maybe have the merits you can earn progress higher as you get promotions. Like when you are a CCG lvl 1 your reward is "2" merits. Now thats pretty low and noone will pick that. You can get it from one cog. If you think about it 2 to 10 (1/5 ratio) is good. So if you have 5500 merits to get you can get a merit task for about 1000 merits. You fill up your task que with 4 of those and you got most of your merits.

Well thats their problem. I've been with 50 LP people and they dont do that bad. Ive been to the VP with as low as 5 people succesfully. W/ a super noob. Its not hard. Would it be so bad to let a few midbies into the emtey space? And on test things are much easier, mainly because of the experience level of toons. (although 15 laugh is inexcusable).

Its possible at 50 LP, depending on gags, (with dee the other night. She has 47 LP). It all depends on gags. Dont think you'd take a 100 LP with lvl 3 gags and cream pie.

Post your response from Disney. What I do is I email back to the person's automated response if I'm not satisfied with it and they will personally email you back. A staff member's name is always signed at the bottom of the response. So write back Dear "staff members name" and why you are not satisfied with their response. They will email you back. I've emailed back and forth a few times with some of them. Nice people. Good luck.
