Posting to Forums:

Posting to forums enable you to communicate and collaborate with your friends and others that play Disney's ToonTown. Examples of forums include anything listed in the http://www.toontowncentral.com/forums/index.php section of this site.

These online forums are similar to the classic definition of the word: forum -- A public place or medium for open discussions. You access forums by clicking on the forum link and by clicking on the title of the individual forum you want to view. For example, you can click on the Playground link to see a list of available discussions. Then, you can click on the title of discussion you wish to view.

Please post in the appropriate forum. Don't be upset if we move your post to a more appropriate forum. In the event you find your post “missing”, please attempt to locate it in what might be a more appropriate forum by using the Search feature.

Each forum has a name and a brief description with them. This makes information easier for people to find if they have a similar question or are interested in the same things.

We reserve the right to move, remove, or close any post for any of the following reasons: (Disciplinary action will be taken on a case-by-case basis depending on the severity)

Site Guidelines:

"Inappropriate/Non G-Rated discussions" - Posts which contains subjects such as: foul language/cussing, nudity and s*x, violence, drug or alcohol use (or any other illegal substance), etc., and/or that may be offensive to parents of younger children, will be removed immediately.

"Personal Information" - This site has children present therefore asking for or volunteering personal information is not allowed. Personal Info consists of Real Life Names, Age, Gender, Location, Email Address exchanges, Instant messenger ID's, Password/Account Information, School Information and other similar details. This also applies to posting personal pictures of the users, their schools, homes (that include their exact locations), etc. This includes posting this information through Private Messages. We here at Toontowncentral.com strive to keep the environment as safe as possible for our users.

“Flaming” - is prohibited. Any posts that are hateful or mean in nature will be removed immediately. We do not tolerate abusive, malicious, personal attacks. This includes slurs based on race, religion, gender, ***ual orientation, or political affiliation as well as any posts indicating grieving other users on the forums or in game by purposefully causing them to go sad because of their laugh limit, gag limit, age, etc.. No personal threats or harassment. Debate opinions, not the people behind them. This includes posting images as a representation of your attack.

"Signature Lengths" - Users should be considerate of other users on the forums. Excessive lengths of signatures cause the flow of the threads to be disrupted. Signature lengths over 10 text lines will be removed from user's profiles. This also applies to graphical representation of signatures that are larger than 500 x 200 pixels in length and width size.
It doesn't matter how big the font size is as long as the total area taken up by the signature text + graphic does not exceed 500x200 in pixel length and width.

So the total area of the signature should not exceed this size:



"Political/Religious Beliefs" - These conversations tend to lead to violent outbursts based on personal beliefs on these topics. Any topic consisting of these subjects will be immediately removed and depending on the nature of the responses could result in Administrator/Moderator action toward the user that started the thread and the users who responded. This includes topics containing beliefs/opinions on religion types, ***ual orientation, political subject matter i.e., new governmental laws, candidates, etc.

“Trolling” - is also prohibited. Intentionally disrupting a thread by posting obviously inaccurate or inflammatory information hoping to get a rise out of people. The perpetrators are known as "trolls".

"Spamming" - is not allowed in any form. This also includes posting simply for the sake of increasing your post count, bumping threads, posting “I like Pie” 1000 times, and one or two letter replies (i.e. ok, LOL, Yes, agreed, nods) as well as PMing multiple users that you don't know directly or through the game.

"Irritating posting styles" - including the use of all caps and excessive punctuation, as well as excessive similes.

"Off-topic/Nonsense posts" - If your post/thread doesn't make sense or is filled with gibberish, these posts will be removed. While we expect that some topics will stray a bit, if it completely hijacks the thread and/or disrupts the flow, those posts will either be removed or split into it's own thread.

"Favoritism Posts" - This includes posts that indicates "Who's the best poster, player, toon, etc. This can cause many issues that make the users of this site feel inferior or hurt.

"Cross-posting/Multiple Posting" - Cross-posting means simply copying the posting to multiple forums or even several times on the same forum. Only one post per subject is needed & repeat/cross-postings will be removed/moved as needed.

"Advertising" - Whether for personal gain or for private use, web sites, personal message boards, user created IRC channels and/or chat rooms which are not endorsed by Toontowncentral.com are not to be posted in either threads, signatures, chat rooms or in IRC as we are unable to maintain the level of their content, which may or may not be suitable for children. You may, however, direct members to look at your profile and/or PM your ONLY friends if you wish to share this information with them. If you participate in mass PMing people you don't know, we will consider this spamming (see under "Spamming"). Profiles may be checked for content periodically & if deemed inappropriate will be removed and will be dealt with on a case by case basis.

"Impersonation of other Users" - Creating accounts on the site with similar names of existing users in order to cause chaos or misconceptions towards that user is not allowed and it can lead to permanent suspension from the site.

Multiple / Sharing Accounts - Members should have only one username per person in a household and are strongly discouraged from sharing accounts with other family members and/or friends. In terms of guideline violations, toontowncentral.com moderators/administrators may track multiple shared accounts from single or multiple computers as one account. If a guideline violation is severe enough, it may become necessary to ban one or all of the usernames on the same computer, depending on the severity. You are responsible for anyone and everyone who uses your account and/or accesses other accounts from your computer. The actions of one person could easily directly impact all known shared message board accounts.

"Personal Ads" - Creating posts announcing weddings, engagements, Toon boyfriends/girlfriends and/or toon "dating" are not allowed due to the inappropriate nature the posts usually end up taking on because of children present on the site. Toontowncentral is not a dating service.

Moderators and Administration:

Moderators and administrators of this site monitor your compliance with the rules of the site and dispense disciplinary action at their discretion. Disciplinary decisions may be appealed through the Appeal Procedure. No unauthorized public posting of appeals. Appeals should be kept in PM's and/or e-mail correspondence.

The Moderators here at ToonTownCentral.com have a monumental task watching these forums. Due to the vast number of members and the incredible number of posts per day, we sometimes do not manage to immediately catch all rule violations which is why we do ask for your help in catching things that might slip by. If you see anything questionable, please click on “Report this Post to a Moderator” (which looks like a yield sign with an exclamation point located in the upper, right-hand corner of each post). Please include in this: a brief message stating who the person is & what they did specifically. Do not use this feature for any other reason. And do not take matters into your own hands by replying, PMing, or scolding a person.

ToonTownCentral.com administrator & moderator decisions on locking threads or suspending members are final. If you have concerns regarding in incident, please feel free to discuss the matter with them via an e-mail or PM. Do not create a new topic simply for the purposes of questioning a moderator’s decision.

When entering toontown

When entering toontown a screen will be there and there will be a bottle uploading.Until the bottle says Starting toontown it'll start.There will be 6empty boxes you can chose one.The boxes will be colored blue,yellow,pink red,and more.If you chose a box you will have a house the same color.Example:

I chose a red box I will have an estate with a red house the same color as the box I chose.

When you chose a box.You will be able to chose toonspeices colors and more.When you get to the "color your toon" there will be a box that says
"parts" click on the box and you may be able to change the toons color and make it mixed.Example:

I make a toon and color its leg yellow,head purple,and hands red.

Then when you get to the chose a name you may type in a name.There will be a box that says "pick a name" and a box that says "type a name".If you want to click on the box that says type a name you may but you will only be able to put 4words in the name and make it good sayings not bad language.You can also pick a name and all you have to do is pick a name.Also when you type the name in it will take some time to let you use the name because they are cheecking for bad language or anything bad.

Advice:
When 15lp(Lp:Laugh Points)you have to stay in toonown central until you are a 25lpyou may go to the other playground wich is:Minnies MelodyLand.When 25lpyou must stay in minniesmelodylan and until 30lp you will go to Donalds duck.You must stay thereuntil 45lpor so then br. then until 60lp or so donalds dream land then the factory(Sellbot Hq)and to vp you have to be ATLEAST 75lp or so.Also you will have secret friends secret friends are people from all over the world that you can talk freely to with the keyboard because youcant talk to them with the keyboard but a "speed chat"(SpeedChat=you click on a little button on the speedchat and chose a phrase.You can not type to the toon because he/she is not your secret friend.)You will have "codes"Go to "toontowncentral.com" secret swamp and there you can share codes with other people and the people have to type it in.After that you will have secret friend and you can only have up to 50friends/secretfriends no more no less.
