Exclamation Attention Rabbits!

I have an urgent message from Rabbit Central Command:

"eeky eeky eepy eek. eeky eepy eepy eeky eep. eepy eeky eeky. eepy eepy eeky eeky eek. eepy eeky. eepy eeky eeky eeky eepy. eeky eep."

Soon Toon Town shall be Ours!

We might share with the mice. . . they are our fellow rodents. And they always sound like they're laughing.

Rabbits are not rodents

On the genetic level, they are closer to human (by genetic ancestor) than to the rodents!

They are lagomorphs.

I'm so glad they decided against this - I found ducktales a totally inane show and would never have even thought about doing a game called Duckburg! I am SO happy they changed the name!

Yeah, and Tony the Tiger is a tiger. And Simba and his family are all Lions. Aren't they all FELINE???

I think the cat I was thinking of from hanna barbera was Snaggletooth

And let's not forget about Chester Cheetah, the cheetos toon from the 90's!

I don't deny that a panther is a feline and a cat is a feline, but not all felines are cats.

If you had said that the Pink Panther was a feline, I would have said "Fine", but the Pink Panther is NOT a cat.

Um, Toontown was (to my knowledge) first used in Who Framed Roger Rabbit. It bore some resemblance to earlier Town concepts from a wide variety of creators.

Duckburg (sometimes spelled Duckberg) was first used as a place name by Carl Barks, who defined the Golden Age of Disney comics. Floyd Gottfredson is probably responsible for creating the first consistent continuity for a Disney character town.

Ducktales had it's points, but I look on it as only an adaption of the comics. Frankly, the classic comics from the 1930s to early 1960s usually had a lot more depth of storyline and character development than could be reasonably done in an animated version.

In my outline for the additional areas of the game, I use Duckburg as the 8th "Playground Area". I may get around to posting my play-through of Duckburg later, as the next part after Funny Farm / Daisy Rescue . It's pretty big, though. Larger than the whole rest of the game. :) I also quit working on the logic for it, since it's obvious that they are taking an entirely different direction with Toontown. :(

Hey Kid, do you or Anarchy have any of the very first screenies of ttc kicking around? I got into Beta1 in January, and was wondering if it looked even more primitive compared to 1.16, or even today's ttc.

Yeah what would I know I only work in a LIBRARY all day surrounded by books where I can look stuff up whenever I am in doubt (which is quite often).

And just so you know, Panthers, Lions, Tigers, Ocelots, Leopards, Bobcats, Manxes, Cheetahs, and Cougers can all be found in books with titles such as "Big Cats" "Wild Cats" "Big Game Cats" and many more!

Hey if I don't know something for sure, I always fall back on common usage to point me in the right direction
