Would A Word Filter Help?

Just lending a freindly suggestion of possibly installing a word filter onto the forums? Just a thought. I've seena lot of (New Words) pass though to the forum lately, and was wondering if it would ease up the work of the Mods if there was a word filter on TTC? I'm just syaing, you Mods have a lot of work as it is, trying to deal with real life AND maintain this site AND play ToonTown and STILL enjoy it all, so I just thought I would lend a friendly suggestion. I also thought it would help the little kids that may see the words BEFORE the Mods get to it. A filter would eliminate all the bad words BEFORE they got into the public's eye. I'm not comdemning the Mods work, as just about every curse I've seen on this board has been eliminated within a few hours of my reporting it at the most. I'm just lending a little suggestion that may ease up the work along with keep the forum a little safer. I'm speaking about this now because there's someone I belive is 9 years of age that has also been talking about how someone is cussing on one of the topis in the "stories" forum. I thought I better suggest this beforeanyone else of that age or below saw curses. What do you think of my idea? Is it good? Bad? Ugly? Lol, couldn't resist that...Well, please let me know as soon as possible, and good luck keeping the site clean!

There is a filter. Just not all words are filtered.

Still I think it was a good idea. It was also a friendly suggestion which is nice and yes he is right, Mods must have to do a lot of work

It would be nice for some of the more common "mistakes" that get past what is already filtered. Send any mod a list of words you'd like to see filtered and we'll take them into consideration.
