I just played with a developer!!!

OMG I feel really priviledged!!! That was so cool!

I saw a toon hop into a 2 story building on his own, like really new people sometimes do. So I checked his laffpoints and he had 102 so I jumped in too. At the end I saw he had all the gag tracks! I wanted to say "Oh wow you're a developer!" but all I could do was say "Oh boy!". I tried to make friends but he wasn't looking for any lol.

I wonder what he was testing. He said he had to defeat some Number Crunchers in Minnie's Melodyland.

Maybe it was just a dev playing? If i remember right you can say stuff and they can see it.

Was his name "Zigzag"? I've seen him in the VP lobby (L1 CC). He chickened
out from all the elevator shuffling and left the lobby, lol.

I would guess that he's testing Cashbots for the next Headquarters. Cashbot
is next up on the list on the cog disguise page

That's been kicked around for a long time. It takes a TT developer to answer
that. It's certainly possible from a programming standpoint. The thing I find odd
is that he was 102 laff. Zigzag was 102 laff as well, if I recall correctly. That's
what caught my eye. He wasn't the usual 105 laff like most of the other devs.

i jump into 3 story builds, all the time by myself. especially when i had that one task, making me defeat 200 3+story builds.

but, it would be cool to see cashbot hq next.. but, i just hope they do some new stuff. i wouldnt mind waiting till aug for it though... as long as it comes out before school starts next year

I also solo up to three stories too.

I would find it odd for a Dev to be 102, since that's not the maximum possible.

there not develpoers. there old toons. In the beggening of toontown you could get all the gag tracks. I was to slow to get them in time but some of my friends got all of them.

That is incorrect. Let's try not to believe everything we hear, ok?

All the toons in the betas are long gone, and as far as I know (I only played
Beta 1 for 3 weeks back in January 2002, but played all of Beta 2, LE and
Open to this day), all 7 tracks were never available (Kid Bugs or any of the
first players please correct me if all 7 were ever available in the beginning of
Beta 1). October 21, 2002 marked the beginning of pay-to-play Toontown
(LE) and is the earliest birthdate for ANY toon currently in Open (Loosy
Goosy's birthday ).

If you see a toon with all 7 tracks, it's either a developer, a developer family
member, or something special Disney granted for compensation (which I doubt
because it's more common to receive credit to one's account for something
like that). The fact that both Apple Crumble and I saw 2 different 7 track
toons with only 102 laff is the only real mystery here. Up until recently the
7-track 'dev' toons would be set at 105 laff.

It doesn't really matter because they obviously are devs, maybe they just want 102 laff.

erm, no.
You might have been told about the original Beta versions. The toons on the existing system ALL have to be started from scratch .. with a limit of 6 gag tracks (except of course for our friends the developers!)

Maybe the devs are 102 laff because 110 laff or 105 could draw alot of attention. They probobly want to fit into the crowd.

Lloyd I think you have it right. That was the first thing I thought of when I saw
Zigzag as a L1CC in the VP lobby. This fits, because as soon as I started
whispering to him he bolted, because at that point it was obvious that I knew
he was a dev. I'm thinking he was seeing if anyone bothers checking toon stats,
or if they just immediately assume he shouldn't be there as a L1CC. Goes to
show how bad Disney miscalculated how their free access-for-all would be
received in Cog HQ. Oh, the prejudice! hehe
